The only ones that I can recommend are all archived on the C2 community. However, I haven't been really searching for any, so I don't think I can be of much help.

If you can't find any yourself, then there's always that option of writing one of your own. I would be more than happy to check it out. :}

Hey, thanks for the reccomendations. Hm, I see there's a lot more C2's since the last time I browsed them. I've already read about half of the fics on it, I'll have to check out the rest. I'm a bit surprised none of Bleuwyn's fics are on there, she's written some great VinTi. The Tiramisu Of Impending Doom's writen quite a few nice ones too. Both of them can be found on my fav authors list and I highly reccomend them. And I do intend to eventually write one myself, but I need to finish my currant fics first.

Yes, Tiramisu's got some great fics about Vincent and Tifa (most of which are already on the C2 archive). :} But I'll certainly take a peek at this Bleuwyn and her stories!

Heh, somehow I didn't notice that there were two seperate VincentxTifa C2's on this site, I just clicked on the first one I saw. I probably wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't mentioned Tiramisu's fics being in the C2 and my remembering that I didn't see any in the one I looked at. Oh well, guess I'll just suscribe to both...

I highly recommend thelittletree and Jess Angel. Cendrillo's got some good stuff as well. I can't think of anyone else, but yes there are tons out there that are excellent. So far haven't seen a badly written Vinti. So happy hunting folks.

There's two? Heh. Show's what I know. :3 I haven't checked out the C2 communities for a while, mainly because there are so many... There should be a rule: one C2 community per subject. ;}

Heheh... Who, me? Hey, just ignore the straight-jacket, people, I haven't really escaped from anywhere, I just think they're comfortable, is all.

I haven't heard of thelittletree before, I'll have to check their stuff out. Hm, at the rate I've been adding stuff to my 'stuff to read' list since they gave us forums back, it look's like my writing's going to slow to a crawl for a while...

Ah, don't worry, Nando. All writers are a little *twitch* crazy. It comes with the territory, I suppose.

I still have yet to check out thelittletree's stories, myself. But on the plus side, perhaps you will be inspired enough to write something of your own after reading? I'm suffering from some bad mojo concerning my own writing, as well.

You CAN'T mention V/Ts without mentioning the great KSipesh. She has some beautiful, long, epic stories: Guilt's Cost and Jaras' Reclamation, along with a few shorts. These stories are famous among the land of fanfiction. I see a few of the other greats have been mentioned, so you're on the right track! Go read her stuff!

I recommend anything by the littletree.

Also, if you're not squicked by NC-17'ness, I suggest heading on over to adultfanfiction.net and checking out this diamond in the rough called, Clumsy Seduction by Sillyrabbit. Besides the obvious HAWT factor, it's very deep and introspective!

I highly recommend "Feathers in the Maelstrom" by Penfeather. http://www.geocities.com/penfeather2000/fitm.html

It has a very deep plot and the writing is excellent.

Yes, definitely read Clumsy Seduction before it's gone. It's easily one of the best V/T fics out there, if you don't mind lemon. (What's not to like really? xP)

Not surprised to see Tiramasu's fics mentioned....^_^ They're great. But I was surprised that no one's mentioned Contact yet. It's a really good one. I think the author's name is Tijuana Pirate? (I'm so sorry if I spelled it wrong) The first one I ever read was Contact, which was a really good fic too. Contact was what REALLY got me hooked on this pairing. *hearts*

Well, I personally would recommend "Kiss Me" By Darknightdestiny, or "Lariat" by Erse, and then there's the story "Red Roses Mean Love" along with it's prequal and sequal by kimetara. And, for a fic that isn't quite as distinct on the Vincent/Tifa (more like, a close bond thing between them that may or may not grow into a relationship), but really good nonetheless, I liked "Dark Outside" by LunarBlade Valentine.

"Kiss Me" is a good one, and so are the ones by thelittletree. I have one of my own but I haven't updated since i published it, I'll update soon tho. it's called The Pain of a Loved One. its a vampiric type one but the two get together quickly. you guys would enjoy it.

Err... I have a story. It's my first attempt at a Final Fantasy VII story but it's VinTif One-shot. It's basically Vincent and Tifa being up late one night in the Highwind during a storm.

I hope you don't regard this as shameless self-promotion, but I never really paid attention to these C2 things, and I was looking for some good recs for ME to read, and...well, I'm not a shipper. My fic pairings end up being whatever suits the plot. That said, I have an older story that has Vincent/Tifa as an important subplot.

Evolution of Innocence

Beware, it was also my attempt to turn the idea of Aeris resurrection=happily ever after on its head, too. Also, Tifa is rather immature in the first few chapters, but...20 is still an immature age in a lot of ways. She gets better, I promise. But I had lots of fun writing the Vincent/Tifa in this story...and since it predates C2s, and was completed five years ago, you may not have stumbled on it.

Anyone know of any newish, epic-type FF7 fic that is based on game canon only? I've been pretending Advent Children and everything else doesn't exist. ;)

There is a really nice VinTi on IcyBrian's website. The author is 'Lucrecia Marionette' and the story is called 'Stay With Me'. It explores vampirism and I doubt it will ever be completed but it's really good.
