Topic: Story Request Thread

The best way to let an author know what you like and what you want them to write is to give a review pointing out what in their work you find good. However, since a lot of people aren't doing that (hint hint), I'm starting this thread.

Post what you would like to read, whether a request for a specific author, storyline, and/or pairing. Give details: you might not get exactly that but you might give somebody an idea.

To start it off, I want Sparda/Eva that really emphasizes Sparda's demonic nature. If you've Rapture, that's my take on things. I want to see other people's. (Also I'm running a Sparda/Eva C2 and I want stories, please subscribe). I also want Dante/Nevan. A PWP would be nice, him... taking advantage of her right after DMC3. Or her taking advantage of him. *winks*

Vampy Sparda

I really need to finish that Sparda one shot... it's so easy to write him as his more demonic side.

Dante/Nevan. I haven't really seen many of those, though I'd like to. It would be interesting.

All I can ask for is Vergil/Ladys. Lots more.

I'm considering a fic set in the future with S/E, D/N, V/Lady, 'Despaia'/Lucia, Beowulf/Matier, Alastor/Trish... it would be an epic on the scale of Rapture. Non-pairing plot stuff, Vergil would be rescued from the Underworld and need much therapy, Sparda would be ressurrected out of the sword, Eva from the Amulet, Mundus would die (I'm going to try to do an epic battle), Dante and Vergil get little sisters, Eva takes Lady under her wing... It's just in the rabid plot bunny stage.

Another rabid one is the Mundus' War fic that I did the little snippet of titled Et in Terra Pax Hominibus. I've got that C2, and have Sparda stories in there, but there do'nt seem to be any completed epics of Sparda's rebellion, and I really want to read some. So, like the D/N and D/Doppelganger that is not here, aff.net, I will probably end up writing one. Griffon, Beowulf, Alastor, Nevan and so on will all play major roles.

I've also got two big Yu-gi-oh fics in the works. So we'll see when/if I do them. Might be a while, just to warn you. I'm open to suggestions for things people want to see in either.

Agreed on Sparda on his demonic nature. I think if anything Vergil represents that side as well - as Sparda would be. Speaking of which, how the hell did he woo Eva, being so human and him being full demon? Laryna's S/E is beautifully done, I like how she showed his very human & compassionate side. I should also update that S/E fic I was doing for Laryna's C2, but there's so many projects. I'm waiting on yours, Vampy, to finish up that Sparda story.

Well I would like to see more stories about Vergil's time in the Underworld. Frankly I haven't read anything good on that. And what I have read of it is really low quality. Or at least the ones I have found. Anyone know of some good ones?

With that list, it's no big deal for me to write one about Vergil in the underworld for you. ^_^ Sides, soon Dark Legion 2 will be finished and I'll want a multi-chapter replacement for it. XD

No don't bother If you have one more to do it will take longer for the other stuff to come up and I read most of those. The wait for the next DL is already excruciating enough I don't want it to take any longer. That's what I'm writing about anyways, if you already got my pm you knew that though. Hopefully I can get it underway eventually.

I ot the PM, but I was thinking that if you gave me your e mail address, and maybe if we conversed using a messenger system, it might make the process go along much quicker. ^_^ I know of several methods that might be able to help you, but it needs a messenger service in order to do it. @_@

If not, no worries, I'll try and do my best with the PM system.

I'm usually on during the evenings, about 7-12pm my time, which is English time.

Someone needs to do Agni/Rudra. Or probably it would be Rudra/Agni. Since there's the whole twincest thing.

And Vergil/Nevan. I think that might have been done in one fic, though...

I was thinking vaguely of dabbling around with a Vergil/Nevan...as for the Agni/Rudra, count me out of that one...

I thought people wrote yaoi - because of hot looking guys? I guess if A&R is written very hot, they can be delicious?

Maybe they're handsome to some people?

I'd like to do a Sparda/Nevan. I'm waiting on your interpretation, Bustahead. :)

*laughs* Yeah, I'm not going to do Rudra/Agni. I seem to be moving away from yaoi in my writing, though. I used to write mostly it and now practically all my DMC stuff is firmly het. *shrugs*

Yeah... I'll do a Sparda/Nevan drabble for you. My take on it, though. I'm trying to avoid drabbles that are AU of my ficverse, unless they're specifically requested. And in my ficverse, Nevan had a one-sided thing. But I'd like to see more Sparda/Nevan fic, because I'm a fan of both of them.

I was going to do a Sparda/Nevan, I said I would ages ago. Lol. But when I wrote Idol, I thought of expanding the theme a little, of Nevan loving him so desperately, seeing him as a God and worshipping his every step.

Joe: Is it me, or did Nevan always seem to talk like she's busy screwing Dante? I mean, when she attacked, she said things like: "How's this?" and "Beautiful!" and "Now, you'll feel tired!" etc. I think you get the message.

And I heard Sparda being mentioned in an earlier statement. This is a fic request forum, right? I know that I'm kinda new to this site (started last August) and I haven't seen a single take on Sparda's rebellion of the demon army and Mundus. Actually, I've seen one, called "The Blade and Heart of a Warrior", it was a good read, but never finished. There could also be EvaxSparda in it, if the author wanted. I'm not going to demand it from anyone, but I think that the best author's here are (no offence everyone else, it's just my opinion, ignore it if you want) Laryna6 and Bustahead. If any of you two are willing, it'd be great to read it.

I totally agree. That's why I had to write them. There should be more Dante/Nevan. I need to write more.

Vampy Sparda is working on a fic like that that does have Sparda/Eva. The first chapter is up in their profile but it's been a while since they updated.

I did Et en Terra Pax Hominibus which is sort of... right after Sparda's rebellion, that you might want to check out.

I was going to do a Sparda rebellion fic, but there's a game called Dance of Sparda coming out soon and I don't want to do a whole epic on the scale of Rapture, because that's what it would be, and then have it rendered totally AU.

And yes, i suppose you're right, now would be a bad time to write one, then, because if you write something down thr way you think it happened, you could be corrected by the time the new game comes out.

I first heard of it as a rumor, but apparently it's up at Gamespot now. I haven't done much investigating, which I should as a Sparda fangirl.

Right now in the DMC section I'm planning something on Rapture's scale set in the game/manga/etc era DMCverse. I'm going to try to get in a lot of action/comedy/horror, and do it from the POVs of people other than Dante.

Now my novel's done, I'm going to have less writing on my plate. So I'm ramping up the fanfic so I keep writing as much.

Dance of Sparda is the one planned for the PSP if I'm not mistaken. As for a Sparda rebellion fic I'm sure I've read one. Don't remember the name but it wasn't finished and hadn't gotten far before it had stopped. It seemed to be pretty good to as I remember.

I've also seen a few one-shots with him deciding to rebel or about to rebel...

If you want Sparda fic, check out the C2 The Fifth Commandment, it's fics that are Sparda/Eva or that either character plays a big role in. Any Sparda-centric fics I've seen would be in there.

From what I remember, I think Burryk once did a fic dealing with Sparda. It was quite good but she's left the site now and I don't think she's ever going to finish it. Still, I'm going to ask for her permission to adopt the story and try and finish it for her. If she's willing, all well and good. If she's not, then I'll just start afresh kinda. ^^;;

Somewhere up in the posts, someone said to do an Agni & Rugdra.. I was thinking of doing that anyway. I love them. But, poor Dante. They never stfu.

Joe: Yeah, I've seen a fic based on Agni& Rudra. I think it was called something like: 'Punishment' or something like that. I never read it, maybe you should look it up.

I'd like to request Dante/Nevan (or Nevan/Dante) and Sparda/Eva (with or without kidlets). You see, I'm going to be working on a project for the next month+ and that's going to be taking up all my writing time so I'm not going to be writing any fic at all for quite a while. Centuries and Rapture will go on hiatus: there's one more chapter of each and then the only thing I'll be updating is SIn, which I'm trying to get written in advance since it's break and I have nothing else to do, stuck in Maryland as I am.

It's going to be a real pain so I'd love some good stuff to read while I'm taking breaks from the suffering. Pretty please?

If you want, I'm willing to write one-shots in exchange, if there's anything you'd like to see. Just you'll have to wait quite a while for them, because like I said this project will be taking up all my time.
