I'm looking for a story, where Jack and Rose are talking while the Doctor is fixing the Tardis. Rose explains to Jack that with the Tardis help, the Doctor can talk to them while working because the Tardis takes the answers from his subconscious and makes him say them. It's a one shot, but I was in class so I never got to finish it and it was a funny story, so if anyone knows what it's called, tell me please?

Hey guys, this is sorta off-topic but then again sorta not. you'll see what I mean. Recently I had to register a new account because of some fuff with my previous one (still dont know what happened there) and as such I lost all my history and fav.stories, authors etc etc. The thing is my fav story was in that list and had been for ages because it was completed quite a long while ago-4 months at least.

Anyway, I was hoping you guys could give me a hand tracking it down if you know it. It was an epic concerning the 10th doctor and it was set on an alien planet where the doctor wakes up in an underground prision environment with no real knowledge or memory of how and why he's there and rose is no where to be found. Its a huge prision and theres hundreds (if not more) people there just living lives a best they can. Theres never any visible guards, just food drops and the like. So the doctors wandering, looking for rose, meeting some interesting folk along the way (as he does) and ends up becoming the guardian of two orphans. Anyway, to cut a long story short, it was all a drug-induced hallucination created by the daleks to use his unconcious life-energy as some sort of battery to recharge themselves to full power.

Does this sound familiar? If anyone has any idea what this story is or who wrote it i would be amazingly grateful and throw some cookies your way.
