Since they left the ending of the first movie open somewhat, it gives us as fans breathing room to continue the story.

I adore Reid and Caleb, and because Caleb has already found love with Sarah, I would love if a new character (somehow related to Sarah or Chase maybe) could come in and start making Reid happy for once.

Every attractive character should have love at least once.

As for plot, I think maybe Chase gets away and plans for an attack on the four boys, as soon as the four of them all ascend. Maybe wanting ALL their power and using dark magic to get it.

There could be new prophercies of "A raven haired demon" or "a blue eyed lord" coming to destroy the world and the only way to stop the demon/lord is to fave all five sons of Ipswitch come together to banish him to the world beyond.

There could also be a side story also including Sarah and maybe four other daughters of so-and-so (insert town name here) have some type of strange power that can only be controlled if their other half ie. The sons of Ipswitch are with them. Caleb/Sarah, Pouge/Kate...etc.

Could be interesting, but then again its only an idea.

but sadly they most likely won't be because The Covenant is based off of the comics...

so there is very little chance there will be a sequel....

though having a sequel would be awesome because I know I many questions that never got answered and I'm sure others do too...

There's the all to famous one of Did Chase die? And if not will he return?

How are the others ashendsions going to go?

Does Kate find out about the powers?

Will Reid actually find some one he can love?

And will Tyler too?

See what I mean lots of questions and that's not even all of them....

But until then all we can do is write... and read for those that don't like writing... or both, whatever...
