I also have a question about the series 2 finale.

If everything with 'void material' got sucked into the void, what would happen to those people who had been upgraded into Cybermen, but hadn't been through the void? Wouldn't they just stay in Rose's original world?

I never thought about that...I was too busy crying, I think.

Maybe they just killed them, there couldn't have been Too many, I don't think, and they weren't as indestructible as the Daleks

I'm guessing that's how they'll bring back Cyberman again... like how the Black Dalek shifted times so they can bring them back.

Yes, the series are connected. All of the "Classic" Doctor Who and the "New" Series are meant to taken together as one big series...even though technically speaking, they're not.

I have one question...again

If Rose's parallel father saved her cause he was there at the right time. How come he didn't get sucked in. He was just standing there waiting for rose to fly into his arms so he could save her. How come he didn't get sucked in? He had been through the void.

And how did he know to appear at THAT EXACT BRILLIANT moment?

Because it's Doctor Who.

Seriously though, I don't think there's an explanation for it. It's just one of those things in the Who-verse.

the answer is not only because it's Doctor Who. The answer is because it is a TV show. How does everything on every show happen at the exact right moment. it's because there would be no story if they did not play up heroic acts and coincidences.

I think that that whole story had way too many plotholes for a good finale. The finale for Series 1, Parting of the Ways, was waay better. and Series 3 owned. But Doomsday wasn't that good.
