Magnarium whipped around and aimed her shotgun at Eliphas's head. "One move and your brains are mush!" she threatened. She pulled back the hammers to make her point clearer.

Eliphas stopped in his tracks and stared down the barrels of her shotgun, "I'm not gonna cause any trouble, I just wanna know." He then shifted his eyes to meet hers, "Here, out of good faith," Eli leveled his sword at Magnarium and tossed it on the earth before her feet, bringing his hands up slowly so she could see them.

"You already caused enough trouble. Murder, destruction of property, blatant hypocrisy, and an insult to intelligence," Peter said, not buying the the daemon's display.

"He probably knows magic or thinks he can kill us unarmed," he warned the elf woman.

"Uh, what? You're joking, right?" Eliphas shuffled forwards slowly, undoing the strap that slung his crossbow from his harness, letting it drop to the floor as he raised his hands back up where the two could see them. "If I could remove my claws to get the point across that I'm not gonna hurt anyone, I would. Cutting my fingertips off aren't an option however."

"You have absolutely no idea what you've done, do you?" Magnarium asked, lowering her aim. "Alright, you can come with us, but one wrong move and you're getting a gut full of buckshot, got it?"

"No, did I do all this?" Eliphas referred to the ruins around them before walking back to pick up his weapons, sheathing his blade and slinging up his crossbow. "You don't need to worry about me, but I know you will if what you say I did is true. If it eases your mind you can take my weapons from me."

"Just get your weapons or leave them!" Magnarium snapped. "We need to go RIGHT NOW!!!"

Eliphas subtly smirked at her urgency, mainly because he didn't know what all the fuss was about. He made sure his sword and crossbow were properly secured before heading over to Magnarium and Peter, ready to follow at a moments notice. "Where will we be going?"

"Anywhere but here!" Magnarium said, annoyed with Eliphas's questions. "Because right now, THAT army is going to tear us apart!"

Eliphas turned to face the army Magnarium spoke of and grinned, if there's one thing that was left intact from his sorcery induced amnesia it was his lust for battle. "We can crush them, easily." A light off in the distance however caught his attention out the corner of his vision, "You think he's trying to call us over?"

"I think so," Magnarium said. "We should probably head there."

"What makes you certain we can't handle an army of zombies?" Peter asked offhandedly. He wasn't going to stall or anything seeing as he was already walking in the direction of the smoke signals.

"A couple reasons," Magnarium said. "One: There's thousands of them. Two: What's the point in defending an already destroyed and deserted town? The locals who didn't want to fight already took off last week, remember?"

"Oh yeah...they did..."

Peter did not seem phased by the first reason, but the second seemed to satisfy him.

"So, if that's the case, we're going to the light at the top of the hill," Magnarium said in a matter of fact tone.

"Let's go then, enough discussion." Eliphas sped up his pace slightly, sword clanking against his armor as he moved.

(It was kind of implied that they were already walking, but oh well.)

Magnarium stayed in the back of the group, ready to lend support if needed. She checked the ripcord on her backpack to make sure it was still there and wasn't damaged. The cord was made of thin steel rope, but that never stopped it from being wrecked before.

(Haha oops I'll go back n fix it, didn't notice)

"You think that guy up there's friendly? If he is I wonder what he's still doing here when everyone else took off." Eliphas looked back to see if Magnarium was keeping up, "What's that you've got there?" He motioned his hand towards the ripcord she was checking on.

"This?" Magnarium asked, lifting her ripcord slightly. "It activates my Auto-turret. I was just checking it to make sure it wasn't sheared off or anything. As for the guy up there, I haven't a clue as to if he's friendly or not. We'll find out I guess."

Peter said nothing. His eyes were constantly shifting different directions to make sure there was nothing hiding anywhere. He looked over his shoulder as if to see if anything was following them.

"I have another question, what's an auto-turret? Technology for the most part is unknown to me, quite the opposite for you and your kin." Eliphas kept pacing along, looking back and forth between Magnarium and Peter. "I noticed we haven't introduced ourselves, my name is Eliphas. My name is just about the only thing I know, I can't remember anything else."

"Name's Magnarium," Magnarium said. "An Auto-turret is a machine that typically has a large caliber gun mounted onto it and is operated either by clockwork mechanics or 'Steel Aura.' Mine is smaller than typical models, but will still ruin your day."

"Call me Shadow." Peter had chosen a cliche nickname because it was easy to remember. Also, his sentence structure would bypass any lie detection since he didn't lie...at least he assumed so.

Magnarium rolled her eyes. "His name is Peter Kent," she said. "Stop trying to sound more bad ass than you actually are, which isn't very bad ass at all."

"I'm not. Doing so would be illogical," Peter replied flatly.

"Then why the hell do you use that stupid nickname, then?" Magnarium asked.

"Memorability," Peter answered.

"Seems like a pretty cliche way to get remembered," Magnarium said. She liked to sometimes tease Peter. It amused her at times.
