Topic: I'll Beta For Just About Anyone...
Hey, now that summer's started, I'm super bored, so when I'm not writing my own fics, I browse the ones here, and am appalled at some of the basic mistakes which I tend to overlook because they're so common.

And then I thought, well, I might as well do my part to help this problem, and so I'm offering my services to anyone who needs a beta.

My qualifications:

I'm an English Major, so I know most of the basic syntax rules and issues. Furthermore, I'm a Creative Writing Major, so I know which techniques tend to be more effective. Also, I'm a Grammar Nazi, so I will attack bad grammar with a vengence and tend to catch most typos.

That said, I'm very constructive with my criticism and won't make you cry. I promise.

I'm doing this mainly because I want to read more good stories, and help other people become better writers. I'm not claiming to be an amazing writer myself. There's always room for improvement. I just want to help people out there with great ideas but not necessarily the best editting eye.

Ooh, and before you ask-- I'll read just about any pairings. I tend not to read slash just because the only slash couple that makes the least bit of sense to me is Nick/Greg but they're both so very straight. Cath/Sara makes sense too I guess... Anyways, I will read slash if you really want me too. Also, I'll read any genre, and any rating.

I'm looking for a beta with a good eye for detail to read over my Maimi piece. It's a straight-up action/mystery that really needs a fresh look for plot-holes and grammar errors.

I'll beta in anyway anyone needs (plot, writer's block, and I'll try my hand at grammar & spelling), but am really looking for someone willing to do the same for me.

I ship GSR, Sofia/Nick, (and sometimes) Greg/Other. I have done Cath/Warrick stories, but can take or leave them alone, don't really care one way or the other if they're together or just friends.
