LiliwenTopic: What do you hope season four will bring? After we've all signed the petition, we should ask ourselves, what do we want to see in season four?Personally, I want to see some of Armaggeddon's revenge against Moordryd, Zulay appear, and Parm aquire the green amulet. That amoung some A/K, M/M, B/D pairings and Stewardd's dragon, Gunny! :P |
Fyrfly23I want to see some more A/K, the Fire Booster appear, life in the Academy (better than my school, I hope) and of course, Gunny! Who doesn't like that lil' light green dragon? So cute! |
LiliwenI wonder if they have dorm rooms in the academy, or something like that. Who else besides me wants Artha and Moordryd to share one? :P |
Dragon Eye GirlOh, that'd be intense (imagines Artha and Moordryd fighting 24/7 for stuff in room) |
LiliwenBut wouldn't it be amusing too watch? ;)Meh, but it ain't gonna hapen, not unless Artha is chosen for the House of Sight. lol |
Dragon Eye GirlOr Moordryd gets chosen for whatever house Moordryd gets. ^^ |

Goddess-of-da-CheeseburgersAt the risk of sounding way too negative...How many signatures on on that petition anyway? What are the odds of the show coming back, even with a good petition? |

LiliwenRight now there are 7,240, which I think is pretty good, seeing as it's gaining new signatures every single day even though DB has been discontinued for some time now. And I think it was Furox who said that networks like Cartoon Network look for shows with over 6,000 signatures at the least on petitions.Rob said that when CBC chose to show DB again, they were influenced by the petition. And last I heard of what the creators were doing, they were working on legal issues or other for DB, which Furox mentioned they wouldn't be doing if they didn't think DB:A had a chance. But that was quite a few months ago. Plus they're still working on that secret episode for the fans, which can be a sign that they don't think DB:A is totally hopeless. As of right now we'll have to wait till Rob messages Furox again with some Q&A's, and hopefully he'll tell us a bit what's going on. A good petition can influence the networks, but I'm not sure how much of an impact it'll have. It'll have some impact, especially since it's still growing, but *shrugs* Then again, I'm one of those people who'll think DB:A has a chance of coming back as long as the creators say they're still working on it, even if five years have passed. :P *is always optimistic* |

Goddess-of-da-CheeseburgersAh, that is a decent amount. Still, my old high school government teacher once told us that it generally takes 10,000 signatures on a petition before anyone will lift a finger. I suppose that's why I'm still so skeptical about this... |
LiliwenPlus it is an internet petition, and I suppose those don't hold too much credibility. But for each signature there is, there are perhaps ten others out there, people who either don't have internet access or don't know about the petition, yet love watching DB. I suppose they take those into account as well. |
