I have to say that Reks was totally my favorite character (even if he did die in the beginning). I don't care if he died, he's still my favorite. I haven't finished the game yet and my mind keeps telling me that Reks isn't dead. Here's a mental conversation with myself:Me: I can't believe Reks is dead! *weeps* My brain: Nuh uh! Maybe he's not dead! he can't be dead! Maybe he faked it and disappeared! He'll be back! Me: Yeah, maybe! I really hope that he's alive! O_o...I'm not crazy. Doesn't anyone else love Reks as I do? WakkamoleyHAHA, his voice actor's name is YURI? LOL!!! Ahem...I liked Reks too, and he would've been a way better "main character" than Vaan. Now his death was quick so I didn't really feel sorry for him or anything... |

xXSoldierXxI love Yuri Lowenthal anyway. He plays all of the coolest characters! (Sasuke, Reks, Alviss...he was even in Gilmore Girls once...) Anyway, Reks is much better looking than aan and I mourned forever...still do....WoW.... I'm glad I'm not teh only one out there. I agree with the people above. he definitely would've made a better main. I still refuse to believe he is dead though. So sorry Reks killers. |

xXSoldierXxI've made a fic with Reks but I haven't posted it yet. I'm afraid because I think people will hate me for putting Reks with an OC. And some other things.........I ended up making the OC Ashe's sister. It was crazy *don't hate me/hit me* ah, to heck with it. I'm gonna edit it and post it anyway! xXSoldierXxI started it over. I just posted the 1st chapter today, lucky me. It's called Fatal Fallacy. Wow, you're going to read it? You don't have to, but if you do, i appreciate it greatly. Since i'm starting over, I'm going to change a lot of it. i don't think she'll be a Mary Su. If you read it and you see her becoming one, warn me and tell me how to fix it. I'm not sure i've ever made an OC that wasn't a mary-su. She's not better than anybody else though...or prettier or better at anything than anybody else... I think she's set for launch, though. I have hits to the chapters following one, so obviously people are reading, but they're not reviewing. Then again, rarely ever do the Final Fantasy fics have reviews.  webofdreams89actually, reks' death wasn't all that sudden. he was stabbed but didn't die until a while later. i read this on the net somewhere... probably wikipedia or something like that. and they show that scene where vaan brings reks galbana lilies. the scene took place after reks was stabbed but before he died.just thought i'd point that out. | #23 Jun 13th 2007, 1:44pm | |
