your description to Dalan is a bit confusing...

did you mean...explore all the areas or...obtain all the maps...

example: the map of Necrohol Nabudis can be obtained after beating Behamoth Misitant. And I have ALL the maps, do I get Dalan instantly or do I have to beat Chaos in the other area. Same thing in the hidden areas in Sochen, Miriam Stillshrine and the Sandsea.

just a question, actually...

Old Dalan (Cartographer) is acquired when you EXPLORE all the maps. It doesn't matter if you get the maps or not, you have to *EXPLORE* all the nooks and crannies of an area to get Old Dalan.

Do you notice how the maps are shaded or dark-ish when you first acquire them? If you haven't been to every part of that area, the places where you haven't been to are shaded. Once you physically explore each map or area, they brighten or lose than shaded color to indicate that you've explored them. You have to make all your maps BRIGHT instead of SHADED to get Old Dalan.

You have to do that for every area or map.

It doesn't include places you can only visit once like the Nalbina Dungeons, Leviathan or the last place Bahamut, but it does include all the hidden areas like for example:

Open the Hall of Ascetic to the Hall of the Wroth God in the Sochen Cave Palace...

Go back to the Barheim Passage to explore that entire area and acquire Zalera, The Death Seraph...

Explore the entire Garamsythe Waterway for Cuchulainn, The Impure. (This can't be done until you complete the "Waterway Haunting" and "Lost in the PUdding" hunts to obtain the Sluice Gate Key...)

Visit all the hidden areas in the Stilshrine of Miriam - I'm talking about Zeromus, The Condemner's room too...

Reach the summit at the Mosphoran Highwaste to battle Exodus, The Judge-Sal...

Explore the hidden areas in the Nabreus Deadlands...

You have to physically go to ALL the areas in the game. It doesn't matter if you have all the maps ~ Having the maps ahead of time is helpful but you don't have to buy them all from the moogles or look for all the urns ~ because once you explore each nook and cranny it's as good as any map anyway.

For Rasler [CONQUEROR], does that mean you need to have something from every license and have every license, or just the license? (A bit obvious, but a little smidge of clarification would help.)

Furthermore, what is a Concurrence for Gabranth [MIST WALKER]? A Mist Quickening? The 'bonus' Quickenings, e.g. Torrent and Ark Blast? If so, how many are there after Black Hole, Black Hole being the farthest I've ever gotten in a Chain?

When attempting to obtain Ashe [EXEMPLAR], if there are Guest members in your party than do they count in the calculation of the average level?

And as for Vayne [PREMIER PRESTIDIGITATOR], do the Technicks have to be successful or do unsuccessful Technicks count to the 100 as well?

For Rasler. You need every liscence. Including espers, and MQs. (sorta why I havent got him yet. cant beat Zodiark)

For Gab, that gets confusing. Go chain MQs, and for a number of MQs you made, a concurrence will go off after you cant chain any more.

Getting an inferno needs 3 level 1 MQs, cata... whatever needs 7 level 1s, torrent needs 2 lv1 and 3 lv2... so on and so forth. go search GameFaqs if you need the complete table.

For Ashe, I'm not sure. Just for the six, I suppose. I mean, guests dont level up, right? I'm playing the IZJS version, in which they do level. I forgot the mechanics of the original game. sorry.

a certain slant of light
xD I hate the Montblanc trophy. I killed over two hundred fifty Urutan-Yensa, and then I found out I only needed to kill fifty. I was so mad. Still, leveled the crap out of my characters.

Same. I was around 275 and then I gave up on killing undead things because my eyes hurt from staying so long in the Stilshrine. My characters didn't even level up that far. :/

what's a Concurrance?? i read the Gabranth thingy, but is it Inferno and whateverz??

shame Larsa and Reddas are excluded from the den when they were guests~ Larsa's would be like, 'used items a billion times' or something.

Ashe's Exemplar doesn't include guests, just the 6 party members i believe^^

that'll be one full den by the time everyone's in there!!

A concurrance is something that occurs when you achieve multiple quickenings. Example, you do 3 level 1 MQs. In the end, there's something that pops up, sorta like the Firaja of Belias. That's your concurrence.

shame Larsa and Reddas are excluded from the den when they were guests~ Larsa's would be like, 'used items a billion times' or something.

So true. Before, I thought that Larsa was the one awarded for completing the liscence board. Bummer when I read it on GameFaqs. *Thinks about Reddas' award.*

especially as Larsa was the one surviving guest^^ maybe there wasn't any room left after the den got full of hunt creatures, moogles, and dead characters?? 0_o

poor Reddas gets forgotten about~ i really dunno what his award could be..hmmm

yea, i swear, the Sandseas, Giruvegan, the Great Crystal, and the Garymsyth Waterways are my most dreaded areas of the game. The others be ***ed, I'll go to any lengths to avoid those places unless i can absolutely help it. (like finding the Larva Eater.. *shudder* i basically hoarded everything i ever needed to do in the Crystal and did it all at once)

And the Entite and Elementals are "friendly" but attack (furiously i might add..) to any magic in their proximity.
