Topic: Editing a story
As much as I tried to spell check and polish up my story before posting it, I have since found some mistakes and have edited the story. Nothing seems to have changed, though. The preview and the actual live posted story are the same as before I made the edits. I even tried removing the story through the documents link in my account and reuploading the revised version. And still the old version with mistakes stays in place. What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem. Like you, I tried deleting my old chapter, looked at the newly uploaded file, the changes are there. But look at it in the posted fiction, and no changes, even after a day. I think Fanfiction.net needs an overhaul.

I use the Edit/Replace Chapter feature. Normally that works.

About the Documents, that's not gonna delete the story. You gotta go to Stories to do that. As soon as you made your corrections and upload a new document, go to Stories and click New Story. I hope this helps.
