Topic: Members' Corner: Like the "Members Only" Jackets from the 80s...
For a number of reasons, especially for a forum this size and so conducive to trolls, I use the feature where only I can create threads.

But I thought this could be a thread used by people for whatever reason. If someone wanted to dole out advice on shit, or as PI said, the "Phanty fifths the rumors thread", or talk about or post whatever links, spam, anime fangirl stuff, whatever you'd like here.

It's like the chat thread I guess but with no restrictions. You can do whatever you'd like here. Rant. Rave. Share whatever. Triple post. Quadruple post. Feel free.

I like to start with a little feature called "Flame Rising's Quote of the Day"...

♦ℜ♦: "Llamas do not make good house pets. Take it from me."

Yeah...I'll probably be the only one using this thread, but what the hell...

Members' Corner: Like the "Members Only" Jackets from the 80s... Ok. I think this is the second time I have heard you mention "Members Only". You like them I know it. You have one in burgundy that you wear around town.XD

Neither do koalas. xD

Oh hell no, he's got one in silver, ala Lionel Richie dancing on the ceiling, and I don't want to hear any shit about how "old" you have to be to remember that (much less dance to it).;)

Also, just so we can get this out here, again; what's this I read about a goatee in the 90's, you fashion rebel you.

I bet he had big "Joe Dirt" hair too!LOL!

What? F/R had a goatee? **snickers maniacally**

Wait a minute... how we can be certain that you don't still have one?

I bet he still does have one. ;D

Wait a minute Fabs, that's not a members only jacket, it's leather or pleather, but I do like the smokin crotch shot, lol.

Members only = (God have mercy on me) Don Johnson as Sonny Crockett. Chant Miami Vice, Michael Mann, Miami Vice, Michael Mann, Miami Vice.......... and I don't mean that half assed remake from a year ago.

how we can be certain that you don't still have one?

Oh Pie, I could say something that would make Fabs blush, but I shall refrain.;)

Okay, I only have a second here, but I just had to say--it's so damn nice to check the forum and have it do what it's supposed to be doing all along...make me laugh.

This thread had me cracking up, so much thanks for the laughs. ;)

(By the way, it wasn't burgundy....it was a very trendy teal. One that my twin said was a very masculine teal. Though he was snickering at the time and never owned one himself...)

Edit: I will say I had fun fucking with the trolls last night. Every once in a great while, I do get the hankering to take their bait and have a little fun. They usually don't figure out how easily they give themselves away.

All in all--I'm liking the new threads!

Go here and type in "Members Only" in the search engine. It has all the beeeeee-autiful colors. (Mine was the second one down, I think.)

Don't be shy F/R! Real men wear pink afterall ;)

I would've done the same thing. I despise the color pink. My mom says I'm supposed to like it 'because it's girly'. Feh!

You only wish it was teal, the term teal never passed the lips of the trendy in the 80's, it was "get in touch with your feminine side" aqua.;)

Did anyone have big hair?

I never needed to spray or tease mine. I just grew it long and I was a walking head of hair. Then, I went really short and punk. I dyed it pitch black. It was a rather extreme look. ;)

I went for the backcombed Robert Smith look. I was a bit of a Goth in the Eighties. Then I had a flat top with a thin plait tail, about three years after it went out of style. Both looks actually suited me, but since I went to one of those schools where we had to wear a uniform, Matron was always tracking me down and getting me to her room to wash the gel and hairspray out of my hair. I used to go to the toilets and put it back in again. Ah, those were the days!

Did anyone here watch "V"?

I'm sure you were.:)) The only weird thing I did with my hair in those days was to bleach the ends blond for Halloween one year, sort of a reverse of the girl singer for Berlin. I thought the President of the bank I worked for was going to have a stroke before I dyed them back to my natural dark brown color.

It's ok Wendy, we all have our little secrets, lol. Robert Englund was one good point, though he was already playing Freddy Krueger, I think there was a couple of years delay in getting the series in England.

Crap, work calls, and I was having so much fun.;)
