March 2008's Challenge:

SO, the March challenge is: Life-changing events.

Describe an event that drastically changes a character from your favorite fandom. It can be any type of event, any genre, any rating. So, for example, if the character is normally a bubbly, happy-go-lucky type, the event should be the kind of thing that changes them to the polar opposite.

Rules:

-Canon characters only.

-The transformation should be the focus of the story arc (i.e. they start out normal and are changed by the end).

-The story must be brand new. No using older stories that you've already posted.

-Since there's no time limit, there's no need to post that you've accepted the challenge. Just post the link whenever you've finished.

-Spell and grammar check are a MUST.

-You can tell the story from the POV of any character in the fandom you choose (this means if you want Betty to describe the changes in Sally, that's fine. Or Sally can be the only character in the story if that works better for you).

-If you have any questions, post them here or PM me. I am kind of tired right now and these rules might not make sense by the time I wake up in the morning! ;)
