![]() Ok, so I've written about 35 chapters in my story and they are all converted into chapter and updated. Do I need to delete some of the documents in my Doc Manager to clear some space to add newer ones in or can I just leave them there? 9/11/2012 #1 |
![]() Stories in the doc manager area have a "life" of approximately 90 days, so if you don't do anything to them (update and whatnot) it will get automatically deleted it seems. 9/11/2012 #2 |
![]() If you've updated your story and you don't want to edit anything in any chapter, then you can delete them in order to save some space in your document manager. 9/11/2012 #3 |
![]() There is an upper limit to how may documents you can have in the doc manager, but I not remember how many that is now. It was changed earlier this summer (I believe) and that made me loose count. But if you have filled that number, you will need to delete old chapters. If not, you can just wait for the system to clear them out. If you want to keep them for longer than 90 days, you will have to go in and save them again before they expire, and they will have new 90 days (removing a word and then replacing it before you save is enough to make this work). 9/12/2012 #4 |
![]() So, if I delete a document in the doc manager section, it won't delete a chapter of my story? 9/12/2012 #5 |
![]() No, it'll not delete any of your story chapter. You can clean up your doc manager without worrying. 9/12/2012 #6 |
