The Absol turned out to have the same gender as Ninetales so that did not work. However, in the middle of the battle, the trainer's handphone rang. He picked it up and began muttering into it, "What! And I was going to get that parcel soon! Well, since we have the other document, I think we should be able to deduce everything about the Pearl. No point wasting our time here." He placed the handphone in his pocket and addressed Tony, "You're fortunate. We already have the other document, so you can go off scot-free." With that, the people all headed away.

At Mount Snowy:

There was a hailstorm. Hail was beating at Jonathan and Tryka from all angles. The communicators showed the fragment of the map at a distance of five metres away.

Back at base:

The chief saw Lee returning and frowned at her. Her communicator reflected his crossness, "The agent in blue reported that he still had not received the document. How do you explain that? Did you hand the parcel over to the wrong person?" Behind him, Luke and Grey looked curiously, and the chief's five pokemon were all there. The chief sighed, "If you make another mistake again, you'll be banished from the Pearl-Seekers."

"Even if there was, we couldn't see it through all this snow," muttered Jonathan.

Just then the gardivior collapsed. It had been pushing back the snow for a long time, ever since they got into the mountain range, and now it was exhausted. Instantly hail whirled around them.

When Tony came back and reported what happened, the chief nodded gravely, "Yes, they have one part of the document, from Lee. Never mind, you can go on your quests, and hurry! Who knows if they're there already!"

Meanwhile, back at Mount Snowy, Jonathan and Tryka saw through the snow hooded figures. They were the Pearl-Snatchers. 1 of them was holding something suspiciously like a map fragment, and was making off with it!

"What the- look!" Jonathan yelled over the wind to make himself heard. "There are people! Coming from a cave of some sort! They have the map fragment!"

Tryka muttered something under her breath. Then she held up a Poke-ball. "Gardivoir!" The fainted gardivoir was pulled into it in a flash of red. One of the hooded figures turned to face them, then appeared to speak to Pearl-snatchers around him. They started running and vanished inot the storm.

"They're disappearing!" Jonathan threw a red and white Poke-ball into the air. "Pidgeiiii!" A pidgeot appeared. Using Gust it blew back the snow. "All right, after them!"

"I challenge both of you together to a double battle. If you win, you get the map fragment. If you lose, all your pokemon come to me!" With that, he sent out Abomasnow and Glalie.

The Pearl-Snatcher didn't reply. Jonathan kicked the snow. "Then I'll choose which Pokemon I'm going to use," he said, holding up a poke-ball.

at mount snowy:

Jonathan had taken out a pokeball without thinking about who was in it. He glanced down, sighing with relief that it wasn't a flying type. They would be able to do anything in this storm. It was Greg, his growlithe.

"Thank God," he muttered to himself. Greg would do so much damage to the snow and ice types. "Go, Greg!" He yelled, throwing the pokeball into the snowstorm. The red light became a big, slobbering Growlithe. Greg looked around at the Abomasnow and Glalie with a ferocious stare, then threw an expectant look at Jonathan, who soon yelled out, "Greg! Use fire fang on the Abomasnow!"

The Pearl-Snatcher laughed and shouted, "Glalie, use blizzard!". His Glalie leaped forward to intercept the fire attack, blasting snow forward. Just small flicker of flame reached the Abomasnow.

"Dragonite! Use iron tail!" yelled Tryka. The dragonite flew at the Glalie, its tail curled back, ready to lash out.

"Glalie, Double Team!" Glalie began multiplying into many forms and surrounded Dragonite while Abomasnow used Ice Punch on Growlithe. While Dragonite was still trapped in the spinning Glalie, Glalie shot out with Powder Snow. The Pearl-Snatcher laughed, "No one can resist the power of Ice pokemon! Ice rules forever!" He began performing a ridiculous dance involving blowing bits of saliva everywhere, supposedly representing hail.

The Pearl Snatcher laughed. "Glalie, use Ice Beam!" An icy glow appeared in front of the Pokemon as it started to created the blast.

"Grrra!" The Growlithe swerved around the Abomasnow just as it attacked. Its tail was hit by the Ice Punch and it staggered.

"Abomasnow, use Earthquake!" the Pearl Snatcher shouted.

"Not here-!"

The ground shook as the Abomasnow roared. All the people and Pokemon stumbled and tripped as the the earthquake rippled through the earth. It stopped abruptly as a rumble came from higher up the slope and all eyes turned to see a curtain of white billow down the cliffs.

"Avalanche!"

Lee walked into the center with her head hung in shame.Tony looked at the pathetic look on her face.He walked up and wrapped her in a hug.'I've failed again!What's wrong with me Tony?'She signed to him."Nothings wrong with you...your a little to shy that's all you need to learn to be a little bit more aggressive...now are you going to be ok i'm not your partner y'know"She nodded her head.Tony lifted up her chin and gave her a quick peck on the cheek before running off with his partner.A blush spread across her cheeks as she ran up to her partner and got ready to set off on there mission.
