Topic: If you lived in the BABYLON 5 universe...

...what would you be?

Since I am a political junkie, I would be very interested in the politics of everything. I could see myself being some sort of political liasion between EarthGov and Babylon 5. I wonder what would happen when Sheridan makes Babylon 5 break away from Earth though...hm. I certainly hope I would not side with EarthGov, since they're all crooks. I'd probably flounder around for a couple of years and then jump aboard with the Interstellar Alliance in some way.

I would proply live in downbelow and not have any money, or I would have joined Earthforce hoping to be stationed on B5, but with my luck I would have been killed in the Earth-Minbari War.

I'd like to think I'd be a Ranger, like Carla, the original character I keep writing about. But I'd have to have a different body. In reality, friends have spontaneously termed me a "military buff" but I was never healthy enough to join. Yes, Carla is a total marysue, it's just that what I fantasize about is being a soldier, not making one of the characters fall in love with me! If I was plunked down in the B5 universe in my own real body, well... maybe by then they could fix what's wrong with it. Maybe I could still be a Ranger! But it's more likely that I'd be exactly what I really am right now, a geek.

I would be either one of the B5's Alpha-pilots or what would be more likely a Telepath P15 kicking some Bester's butt. After what they did to Talia Winter I'm entitled to do so as a fan of hers. :-(
