Usagi sacrificed herself... for Rei. In the very end, it wasn't Usagi who was left but Rei. The battle, (Make up a villain) was too dire and Usagi knew she'd never win. Everyone had gone, everyone was dead and though Usagi new she wouldn't survive in the end, Rei still lived and she would continue to live. Rei was overcome with grief and with that grief came anger.

Usagi had killed the evil at a price, her death. As she died she sent Rei away to a safe place to live freely and happily by using the last of the Ginzuishou's power.

Rei was now stuck in an unknown world where apparently magic did not exist.

Rei has both her guardian crows to guide and help her, the only traces of magic allowed in the new world full of war and machinery.

She lives as a normal girl. Finds an apartment, a job and studies at home alone. A war had ended when she came but new wars start. Her crow guardians ask her to help the people since Rei is the princess of Mars and has relations to the gods of war.

Rei refuses to fight though and is too bitter and angry from when Usagi had saved her when Rei was the one supposed to be protecting HER. Since she couldn't help her best friend as Sailor Mars she refused to fight at all. She hated Usagi for abandoning her because she suffered without those she loved most.

But then she somehow finds the broken Relena, wounded from the war and decides to help her. Relena reminds Rei of Usagi making Rei bitter to the Cinq Princess. Relena wants to befriend this strange beautiful girl who is more solitary and apparently more unbalanced then Heero, so she decided to "save her" and won't leave until she does.

Relena is attacked again and Rei having grown close to the girl saves her. Heero, Quatre and Wufei find Relena with Rei and are weary around the girl.

Go from there.

Is there anything else you would like to add? Like pairings and whatnot? I know that isn't a key factor, but it is your challenge. So, I was just curious. ^-^

Well, as for adding things... here's a list -smiles-

Phobos and Deimos can speak, kinda like Luna and Artemis. In the manga the crows are actually Rei's loyal gaurdians and ae from the same planet as Sailor Lead Crow. They're both girls, in case no one knows. Their human forms are actually the size of a fairy or a pixie would be. If anyone wants a pic I'll get a link to one since my computer is broken and I'm using someone elses.

Pairings... well, they can be anything. Whoever is up to the challenge can take it because I know since everyone writes differently, it'd be nice to see the different versions to compare and enjoy. So use your favorite pairings or none.

After the challenge info ends, I'd like to see what you come up with to keep the story going, Silence. I hope you do take it and I really hope school isn't to rough for ya to take it.

Hey, Do you mind if I give a crack at it? I read this thread and read Condolences (Great job by the way). After that, I actually had a pretty good idea of where I could go with it, and I had just tried to write one on my own and REALLY messed it up. I'm pretty much deleting it now, but I think I could do well on this challenge. Honestly I hadn't written for GWSM for 3 or 4 years. I'd been writing for Charmed, and they don't exactly work the same way. Anyway, I'm rambling. Just let me know what you think.

IT'S ABOUT TIME SILENCE! You left me hanging on a thread! LITERALLY... okay not so literally but you know. I usually don't come on here anymore, at least to the SM/GW part much but I am so glad you updated, I was worried :c but I know how busy things can get, let me tell ya. I just got this today. I've been working a lot of overtime and other stuff uuuugghh. So I don't check my email as often as I should :/
