Topic: CSI Background reference?
Does anyone know if there's such a thing as a background reference site for CSI? When I was writing X-Files fanfic there was this wonderful website called "Deep Background" that had information gleaned from all the episodes (like addresses taken from screenshots of ID's or driver's licenses or names and dates tossed out by the characters.) It even had reference material about real places like the FBI Building (the one used in the show isn't the real building), the DC area, maps, bus schedules, the actual organizational structure inside the FBI... you get the idea. Does anything like that exist for CSI (Las Vegas)? I've seen most of the episodes but still feel like I've missed stuff. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well, Harmne, I don't know of many sites like you mentioned for CSI, but If you want i can tell you about them. Reply back if you want to know anything. I'm an avid...or obessed fan and know alot about the characters.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, but I couldn't remember how I got to this forum!

I'm looking for info on individual characters backgrounds. Like, for instance, where is Greg from originally? I'd like to know anything that's 'canon' to the show, anything that was mentioned in an episode. I have season one on DVD and it includes a disk with character profiles, but it was actually made barely into season one so there's no detail or depth there yet. I was a little disappointed!

Hi. I don't know of a site as good as the x-files one but I can recommend two sites. Try www.behindthetape.co.uk and www.cbs.com. I find that both have some true information about the show. CBS have great episode breakdowns and a little bit of character information. Hope it helps! ;o)

I know of one site. I don't know if all the info on the characters are all right. http://www.crimelab.nl./. This site will give u info on all three CSIs, cold case, NCIS, and Without a trace.
