Team one is so far: -Tak -Rin Okay, this is where team RPing is done for team one members; remember, you have to find a way for your team to meet up in the group topic before you start RPing together. The RPs are simultaneous, so if you're with someone here, you've got to explain why you're together in the main RP. Get it? Well then have fun!
"Just - taking a stroll," she lied, her voice cool and slightly on the tired side. Her blue eyes watched her friend. Rin reached up and rubbed her back, but was very causul about it, making sure it didn't appear like something was wrong.
"Riiight," Tak said skeptically. She stood up and started brushing the dirt off of her clothes, careful not to get rid of it all. She believed in a nice healthy coating of dirt. Tak looked up at Rin once more. She did not look good at all. If Tak could think of one word for Rin right now, it would probably be "troubled." Tak decided she would delve into it further later, when she could think straight. "So where are we going today, then?" Tak inquired, keen on changing the topic quickly before Rin asked about her, Tak's, state and location.
"Somewhere safer," she answered after a moment and stopped walking. She looked at Tak questioningly, but she didn't want to bother Tak about the dirt. She turned away and looked somewhere else. "Maybe, if we can find a shelter, we might have half a chance of surviving out here," she mummbled in thought. "But - lets not worry about that now... where do you want to go?" Rin changed the topic, she was trying not to act worried or troubled, so she pretented that this was like a vacation - but without the camping gear.
"How 'bout we walk for a while?" Tak suggested, concern most likely etched across her young features. She completely forgot to relish her good fortune that she hadn't gotten in trouble. With Rin looking this vulnerable, something as trivial worrying about getting caught staying up now seemed lightyears away.
"Lead the way." she said, attempting to be warm and friendly - which was slightly awkward for her, being a silent cold teenager all the time. Rin grinned in a friendly way, trying to ignore the troubles and pain.
"So where's Grey, what's he doing?" Tak asked; she was always interested in the comings and goings of thier leader. She liked to know as much as she could about what was going on, having a strange desire to prove she was as capable of handling this information as the teenagers. Asking questions however, as proven moments ago, served not as a source of information, but proof that no one wanted her to ever know anything. Tak tried to hide her annoyance at this assumed fact whenever she asked questions, hoping to startle people into an answer. Tak started jogging backward so she could watch Rin; she liked looking into the eyes of the person she was talking to. The slight thrill of not knowing whether she was going to bump into anything at any given moment gave birth to a small smirk that subtly overtook her features. Tak hoped Rin didn't think that she was smirking at her, and awaited an answer.
"Dunno - haven't been able to get to him lately," she answered honestly - one of those rare moments. She continued. "But I'm sure we'll met up with him soon," she answered. Rin didn't want to dim the girl's spirit. Rin felt she had the responsibility of watching Tak, almost like an older sister taking care of her. Rin walked on staring at the ground, arms folded, and her gaze was concentrating on the ground as she walked along after Tak.
It seemed honest, actually honest! Tak was excited. She didn't know what was going on with Rin, but she was getting an honest answer for once. Should she be worried or glad? But her answer instilled curiousity as well. How come she hadn't spoken to him lately? Was he doing something super-secret? Was he hurt, or did he go off on his own? In Tak's mind, one answer concieved millions more questions. Whatever Grey was up to, she wanted in. However, Rin did not seem in the mood to be answering questions, and Tak's concern overrode her curiousity. She did hope they would meet up with Grey soon, like Rin said, but she had learned not to take Rin seriously when she said hopeful things like this. Yet there was a little part inside of her that wanted to believe this. When Rin looked down, Tak's demeanor changed. Rin was like an older sister to her, and she detested seeing her so weak and troubled. She was supposed to be invincible. Tak fell into step next to Rin; running backwards had lost all amusement. No matter what, Tak wanted to know what was wrong with Rin. "So was it him then? Grey? Did he do something to you? Did you guys break up?" she joked, poking Rin playfully.
"For your info, Grey would never ask some one like me out, thus concluding we've never gone out so we could have never broken up," she replied, acting like an adult at that moment. Rin answered calmly a moment later. "Grey has just been - busy," she mumbled, unsure whether that was true or not. Still red in the face, Rin tried to act as if that didn't bother her, but it did. Grey was suppose to have talked to them sooner than later. Then there was something else that bothered her. But she couldn't let those silly feelings get in the way. Rin let out a sighed and rolled her shoulders attempting to get rid of the pain. She glanced at Tak, then at the ground. "What about you? Have you heard anything from him?" she asked, changing the subject.
Shrugging, Tak replied, "Nope, not really. He doesn't really like to talk to me about important things anyway." She rolled her eyes and smiled. "You know how he is." They reached the edge of the field, where there was a very thin stream that could easily be crossed by the use of a few rocks that surfaced over the splashing water. Tak, who was ahead, went first, stepping on one rock, then realizing who she was. She levitated over the stream, then looked across expectantly at Rin.
"Well, maybe when your older," she suggested. Suddenly she slipped on the last rock and fell into the cold waters of the stream. She sat there, soaking wet, with a piece of plant on her head looking rather ridiculous.
Tak would have held out a hand to help Rin out of the stream, but she decided against it, considering the fact that she was quite small in comparison to her older squad member and would therefore not be much help in getting her too far off the ground. Instead, Tak consented to throwing the water plant back in to the flowing stream, awaiting an answer to her question of concern.
Rin actually was quiet powerful, or that's what she thought, but she was nervous about using her powers. What if she can't turn back? Or what if it drags Tak in and makes her a shadow person too? Rin sighed and looked at her hand. Though nervous, she still would try to use her powers, for Tak's sake. Rin concentrated long and hard, imagining her hand becoming a shadow. Her hand remained unchanged. Rin sighed and gave up. She looked at Tak and stuck her toungue out at her, in a childish manner. "I meant - when you're older, Grey will talk to you about more important things." she explained.
Tak had half a mind to ask Rin about her relationship with Grey, hoping their sister-like bond was strong enough for such conversations, but she decided against it, saving it for another day. It didn't seem that Rin's day was going very well at all. Looking up, Tak's dark blue eyes took in Rin's form. "Rin-san... you've gotten skinnier." She stood up then, arms folded, with a slight frown on her face. Her large eyes became rounder and rounder as she surveyed Rin's scrawny form. Hoping that Rin would reply with something consoling, so Tak could do her best to believe her, the 12 year old squad member began to climb a small, nearby tree, sitting on a thick branch so that she was at eye level with Rin. The slightly annoyed pout that Tak wore was greatly contrasted by her large eyes and baby-like cheeks, and she couldn't help but despise this. She could never get the effect she wanted this way.
"I guess I haven't been able to eat in a while," she admitted. Honestly, Rin wanted to tell Tak everything, the truths and secrets she had, but Rin was very self concious - especially when it came to Grey. Plus, she hadn't been eating becuase she'd been trying to get Tak something decent. Rin stood up and walked around bare footed in the soft grass. She glanced at her watch around her slender wrist, roughly 11 o'clock. Rin looked up to the sky as if trying to see something, but nothing came. Then she let her blue eyes wander back to Tak. She grinned at Tak's look. Tak was very interesting; she was more talkative than Rin, and that's what Rin liked about her. With Tak, Rin rarely talked around other people. "Hungry?" she asked after a moment. Rin looked to the stream thinking there might be some salmon in the water.
By the riverbed, Tak knelt on her knees and felt them sink squishily into the soil beneath them. She relished the soft feeling of nature pressing onto her. Peering into the water, she splashed some of it around absentmindedly. Finally, she raised her massive navy eyes to Rin, a smile playing across her young features. "What d'you reckon?" she asked in her best English accent. "Salmon?"
"Catch!" she shouted tossing Tak the flipping fish. She laughed, absolutely surprised she actually caught a fish with her bare - ((bear lol)) - hands.
Tak laughed along with Rin, levitating the fish calmly into her lap when it got close enough to control. "Nice one!" she said. Tak was suddenly filled with unexplained, youthful energy, so she put the salmon down next to her, rolling up her pants as well. "I'm coming in!" she exclaimed with a smile; her dimples dented her face immensely with this action. She waded into the water in a sort of run, splashing water all around her. The cool droplets of water drizzled her slightly, so that her exhilaration was intensified. "Look!" Tak shouted, indicating a spot not far from Rin's left foot. "There's one-- you're closer, get it!" It was all just a fun game for Tak; she really could care less whether or not they caught any more fish. Rin looked happier, and Tak couldn't ask for more.
"Come on, lets get dried and get a fire going," she said, trying to get a good hold on the squirming fish in her hands. Rin started towards the shore side and placed the salmon down to the other. She waited patiently for Tak to come with her.
"Firewood?" Tak asked simply, and she felt the grass seperate from the earth beneath her as she squeezed her wet toes absentmindedly around them, pulling it up then letting it fall. The grass didn't fall, however; it stuck to her wet feet. Tak giggled in ticklish delight, continuing to look up expectantly at Rin. Tak liked being independent most of the time, but there were just some things she'd rather have guidance in doing, such as building a fire. Tak wasn't too naive to believe that she wasn't capable of burning the surrounding land down by attempting to do such a thing, so in this case she wasn't hesitant to accept help from someone older.
"Levitate some wood. It's good practice for future use," she directed as she went on preparing the fish for the cooking. She sat down cross legged, not minding the wetness of the grass around her. She waited for Tak to gather the wood, keeping an eye on the suroundings. Rin should have checked the clearing first, but nothing happened so far. Rin smiled - daring Tak to do it. Rin's blue eyes wandered cautiously around, thinking she heard something in the distance, but thought it to be a deer, or some other wild forest creature.
Raising her navy eyes up to a large tree branch that would most likely constitute a log, Tak concentrated intensly, trying to levitate it with such force that it was ripped from the tree. Finally, after a few moments of silence, Tak was able to accomplish this. With a small grunt, she sent the log into the air, soaring of its own accord for a moment before her powers caught up with it, and she sent it plummeting to the ground. After the second log, Tak was started to break a sweat, and by the third, she was finally actually hungry. Trying to ignore the growing, ominous rustling sound, Tak turned to Rin. "...Uh, is that good?" Tak inquired, indicating the pile of logs she had formed.
"You can rest - I'll cook," she promised, picking up the wood and setting them. She wandered around and picked up some stones and set them around the fire so that the embers wouldn't go every where. Rin sat down before the wood, thinking of a way to get a fire going. "I wish Shu were here," she said with a nervous laughter. Rin never attempted to create fire, but better to learn now then never. Rin picked up two extra stones and slammed them together in hopes of creating a spark. Half an hour past, but Rin finally managed to get a fire started. The fire licked hungrily at the wood as its power grew. Rin smiled, feeling glad she was able to create fire. She glanced around and picked up three long sticks and stuck the fish on them and leaned the food into the fire to cook. Rin sat back and watched the sparks. "It should be ready in a while," she said, trying to keep up the younger member's spirit.

rustling. He swore inwardly. He glanced down at his seemingly normal hands, hands that would kill at the drop of a dime. He looked hungrily through the tall grass at the two girls. Two girls for his enjoyment, tourture and murder. He smiled, ideas already dancing through his mind. He couldn't wait to sink his claws into their fair flesh.
"Hah, thanks. And good job with the fire, too. I don't think I never 'ppreaciated how hard it is to make one, with Shu always there to do it." With this comment, a slight blush crept up Tak's cheeks, and she looked away in order to hide it. "Hey..." Tak started, not just keen to change the subject. "Do you hear something?"
"Why are you blushing?" she asked curiously. Then she smiled widely, trying to act as if she were an older sister. "You like Shu?" she giggled kindly. Rin wanted to keep Tak's mind off whatever was in the woods, so she decided she would poke a little fun at the girl. The smoke lifted from the fire high into the air. This was a slight risk in itself, for the Ryu might spot it. But Rin wasn't going to let anything happen to Tak, so she wasn't afraid at the moment. Rin just wanted to concentrate on making this worrysome time the best it could be.

punch to her stomach. "Hello kitties," he said lustfully. "Time to play!" His eyes grew feral as his canines elongated.
"Dammit - Hide Tak!" she ordered, pinning the demon to the ground. Where was Grey when he was needed?

him lol) The Ryu wrestling Tak threw her violently to the ground. The other three began to close around Rin. "Bloody Mary Bloody Mary!" shrieked one fouly. The others broke out in cackles.
"Bite me!" she yelled, challenging the Ryus.
"Where's your boyfriend?" asked the other, spitting at Rin's feet. The third lunged at her as the fourth rubbed his burn of the ashes left in its wake.
One of the Ryus jumped at Rin. She dodged, rather gracefully actually, and round house kicked him the stomach just as he landed. Another Ryu jumped on her back. Rin merely flipped him off of her and swung her fist as the third came running at her, landing a cold hard punch right between the eyes. Blood splattered over her from the broken nose. The injured Ryu backed away. The other two got ready again. One jumped at Rin legs. Rin tried to jump out of the way, but failed. He grabbed her foot, just as the other jumped over his partner at her, tackling her to the ground. Rin cried, her arm was dangerously close to the fire. "What? Kitty afraid of fire?" teased the Ryu on top of her. He pinned her down with one hand. He reached over and picked up a torch and slowly moved the flames to her face. Rin gasped and wiggled trying to figure out how to get out of this. 'GREY!' she thought desperately.
"Rin, we need Grey!!" Tak shouted, although she knew that Rin must have been thinking the same thing. As the Ryu was now weak, the torch levitated easily out of his hand, and Tak grabbed it and began brandishing it at the others, ignoring Rin's desperately concerned looks that bore into her back.
"TAK!! RUN!" she yelled at her teammate. "Find Grey!" As Rin battled off, she kenw she was weakening, she could feel one of her ribs start to strain, dangerously close to breaking. Throwing random punches, Rin recieved more injuries then she gave....
"Look's like you're left alone... that boyfriend of yours is rather lousy," he whispered cooly, breathing hard from the fight. "Too bad, you are kinda cute - Sarah." He used her real name. Rin glared at him. "Grey is NOT my boyfriend!" she yelled hoarsely. The Ryu chuckled and brought out a blade, starting to press it to Rin's neck. "Then that's his fault..." he whispered, and got ready to make the last fatal blow. Rin shut her eyes. One person came to mind right then and there... 'Grey...'

his neck and he fell to the side. Grey stood over Rin, holding a blade. His brow was crinkled. He held a hand out to help her up. "Told you I'd come," he said almost coldly.

met, her eyes looking sweetly up at him, and his, returning with the stare that never left his face. The look that nobody else would be able to discern from any other look, but Rin could see the difference. "Are you hurt?" he asked, killing the moment. He turned away from her, letting his hand slip out of hers and stabbed a Ryu forcefully. The emotions in this place were driving him nuts. He swung his powerful leg into the temple of another, dropping it like a sack of potatoes.
"I-I'm fine..." she lied flat out. In that moment, when their eyes met, Rin noticed something different. But she said nothing of it. Instead she turned her attention away from that and towards the forest to where she last saw Tak run off to, praying she was alright.
