“ Well, where should we go?” Kan asked, his voice slightly weak.

unnerving. "We're going to his sister's grave sight" he said "I dont know what posessed him, but he wanted to go, its best we let him pay tribute" he said hushedly, though in no attempt to keep from Shu what he was saying. It was simply that the air in the town was so still, it seemed wrong to disturb the quiet.

He looked up. Even the sky looked gloomy, or either that, a number of clouds were gathering. Kan was still slightly worried about what he had heard in the encounter with the Ryus previously, and he hoped the rest of them were alright. He wanted to meet up with the rest of the fleet, eager to see then after so long.

all kinds of ambiguant emotions. He looked up at the same gloomy sky that he hoped was blue over Rin. As the rounded on the cemetery, Grey stopped walking. He just stood there, with his eyes closed. They probably wouldnt notice the grave, but this graveyard, it made Grey think about when he died. He hoped it rained at his funeral that would mean the sky was crying for the first man to grace its open surface. The tears would sink into the soil, and reach his body, where it was decaying slowly. Did the bodies of angels decompose? He wondered. If so, what happened to the bodies of the damned?

"Sis, it should have been me that died that night," Shu said silently as a single tear escaped his brown eyes.
|

shu, i cant stand here" he said, excusing himself shamefully. His head was pounding, it seemed whenever Grey recieved a strong emotion, all the others were also amplified. Grey could hear a buzzing in his ears, and his head throbbed, his heart feeling sick and depressed for reasons that were not his own. Grey knelt before a random tomb a few rows away from Shu and Kan, he prayed a little for the dead soul. This didt get to far since he had not an elegy to recite for the unknown man.

Kan looked around the place. He wasn't particularly depressed or anything, since after all the cemetery was a place where the ones who have passed away. He waited patiently for them to finish, waiting by the side, clasping his hand together to give a short prayer out of respect for the dead and waited quietly.

that was entering his conciousness? Somehow, it was his own. Once he had cleared the last tomb, he felt a little aleviated of the mental stress he had endured. He stood against a tree and watched the duo at the graves. Grey's eyes caught a freshly dug grave. "Pity" he said, almost ridiculing himself into insanity.
|

"OK, I'm ready to leave now," Shu said to Kan.

was done already? He pushed himself up off the tree, and pushed his hair out of his eyes. His mismatched clothing itched, and the dress shirt was so thin that Grey was shivering in the cool Michigan air. A small bird fluttered happily through the air. The fleet leader flicked up his collar and turned his back on the melancholy of the graveyard. He looked into the sky's lifeless texture, then checked to see if anyone in the town was up and about, but it seemd the day was to dismal and rainy for them, and the three of them were alone. Once he had confirmed it, he spread out his wings and shook his feathers straight. "Come on boys, it's time for reunion" he smirked

Shu then turned to Grey and spread his wings. "Ready when you are Grey."

had before. It was so invigorating, but to Grey it seemed to lose it luster, he circled around them. "Kan, you still need a lift?" he asked sternly.

down and attempting to scoop Kan up. Unfourtunately it wasnt that easy. He slipped, and came up without Kan. "Jump when i say jump" called Grey. He rounded back, flying down toward Kan. Once he was speeding in, very close to Kan, he shouted "Jump!" Kan did a strange kind of limp-jump that looked altogether strange, but it have him enough uplift for Grey to securely grasp his wrist and lift him into the air with limited difficulty. He grunted, lifting Kan higher into the standard postition, carrying him from under his arms. "California huh?" he said. "I hope they stay put damn it"

to streamline the air, and thus it caused him to float backward in an almost weightless state. His hair whipped around his face, getting in his eyes. *** Grey manipulated the wind with slight anglings of his feathers. "The air up here is nice, but i can feel some moisture, theres a storm a few kilometers ahead" hs shouted over the wind. "Steer clear of it, and we should make it to California in an 2 or 3 hours

an airplane runway. "Those three are really close" he said "Kan, can i let you down on your feet yet?" he asked, his eyes quickly darting around, there were a lot of planes here, and they couldn't be spotted, that would really screw things up.

radius is my best guess, but thats only judging from how strong their signals are" Grey assesed, trying his best to let Kan down softly, and then circling backward, to land for himself. The road was dusty, and there was a small gas station to it's side. Grey blinked his eyes, the large planes were full of people with all sorts of strong emotions. Excitement, anxiety, joy, and for the bussinessmen, boerdom, though that wasnt really an emotion, and Grey could only feel it out by a gray abscence of emotion. There were migranes growing behind his eyes and in his sinuses, but the leader ignored them blatantly, fixing his sights on a trio walking from the gasstation in front of them. "Guys" Grey got the other two's attention "Look"
