 Wolves Of MibuTopic: Team TwoTeam two is: -Grey -Shu Okay, this is where team RPing is done for team two members; remember, you have to find a way for your team to meet up in the group topic before you start RPing together. the RPs are simultaneous, so if you're with someone here, you've got to explain why you're together in the main RP. Get it? Well then have fun!

| Wolves Of Mibu"Ok," said Grey; anyone else he'd have forced to rise, but he knew things were tough on Shu. He began to pack up what little provisions they had left. Slinging a tightfitting backpack over his broad shoulders, he leaned against the rockface. He looked straight into the sun. Today, he decided, they would get answers. They had caught a lead of a man who had a large role in their experimentation who was living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Grey almost smiled, almost. That was his homeland. He messed with the small silver ring on his finger "Shu," he said once again. "I'm sorry, but we have to get moving, if we stay too long here the Ryu will pick up on our location." The Ryu was a group of genetically aerial demonic men. The Fleet has deduced that they are sent from whoever was in charge of the undeniably illegal underground laboratories. They wanted to kill the Fleet and destroy the evidence of their higher-ups' felonies. Or at least they assume that's what's up.

 Swordsman of FireShu slowly got to his feet, putting his lighter back in his pocket where it belonged. He took in a deep breath through flared nostrils; he had learned to use his increased respiratory abilities to gauge the relative humidity of the air, which came in handy since his power worked best in dry weather. The moisture in the air was against him, but he determined he could still start a flame without the aid of his lighter. Shu knew that they had to find some clues on the experimentation, but he just wanted to rest, it was not a good day for him. To others it was an ordinary day, but to him it was a day of remembrance, a day of mourning; the 3rd anniversary of his little sister's death, but he refused to even give a single mutter about the subject. Finally, the 18 year old looked up at Grey, the red rings in his eyes seemed to glow in the morning light."Ready," Shu said silently after gathering his belongings.

| Wolves Of MibuGrey felt his heart sink, his acute sense for others emotions (as mentioned in his bio) told him that Shu felt like shit. As a guy, it wasn't too easy always knowing how people felt, like when smiles were fake and when a really bad liar lied to him. But, Grey decided he couldn't let anything get in the way of their objective. Reunion was coming, and they'd have nothing to show for it. "You okay there?" he called down to Shu from a little higher up on the mountain. Shu was the one who knew him best, and seeing as how he spent most of the past two years living with him, that wasn't surprising. Shu even knew the secret of the Fleet's backs. An expensive looking land rover came speeding down the dirt road beside the mountains. Grey looked at it mischeveously. "You promise not to tell Tak about this?" he asked. Tak was young; she didn't need to know about stranding people in the desert. Grey flew across the narrow strip of land next to the road and shoved a fist into the driver's window, pulling out a snobbish looking Italian man. Grey's impression was that of a Mafia man. He motioned for Shu to come quickly, revving the engine.

Swordsman of FireShu ran up to the rover. He kneeled down to the man and said, "Sorry, we need to commandeer your car, we need it more." Shu didn't particularly like stealing, but anything with wheels beat walking. Shu then silently sat in the vehicle. "To answer your question, I'm fine," he said to Grey. Shu knew perfectly well that Grey realized he wasn't in a good mood. But he didn't want to bring attention to himself. He just wanted this day to be over.

Wolves Of MibuGrey reached absently for the key; it wasnt there. He looked closer, to find in horror that this was a late model. The guy was richer than he looked, because the engine starter was a keypad instead of a key slot. He thought on his feet. "Shu, a little fire power here?" he said dully. He knew that Shu's precise control of fire would allow him to spark the engine from where he sat. He looked at the man out of the window. "Really sorry buddy, but you were probably going to do something illegal anyways." He smiled and turned back to Shu. "Can you?"

Swordsman of Fire"Let's find out," Shu said, stepping out of the car. Shu opened the hood and examined the engine for a moment. He didn't know a lot about cars but his knowledge of comubustion made up for that. Shu made a small flame and carefully guided it into the engine and ignited the fuel, getting the motor running. "That should do it," Shu said shutting the hood. "You know I don't like stealing," Shu muttered before the car got moving.

Wolves Of Mibu"I am sorry, it was necessary," he said in a monotone. He let his mind wander to his other fleet members. How were they doing? Had they found anything out? Doubt it. "Thank you," he said after a while. "For starting the car." His gray eyes remained dull and emotionless. His mind wandered momentarily to Rin but he shook his head, to get rid of the images. What the hell was he doing? They were on a job, with several Ryu possibly on their tails. He felt his cell phone in his pocket but as he drove the rover down the deserted dessert road at speeds well over the speed limit, and though his vision wasn't the best in the group, he could still see much further that the average human. He took his cell out but put it back abruptly, any calls had to be in an emergency, as they could be traced, bugged or intercepted. He looked to his side; Shu's head was rested sadly on the window. Grey forced himself not to open up. The last thing he needed was another meltdown... at 105 mph. The city would be hard enough for him. This, he recalled, was the reason he didn't feel comfortable around people other than the fleet.

Swordsman of FireShu rested his head on the window for a while, but eventually he began to look out the window. He just stared out blankly at the passing landscape. His brown eyes showed no emotion, the red rings in his iris seemed to glow bright, but they were the only sign of possible emotion, and they didn't yield much from his blank stare.

| Wolves Of MibuAt the end of a day's drive, the vehicle's gas light was on; it had been for an hour. But Grey didn't care, wherever it broke down, it broke down, they would walk from there. According to the car's built in navigational system, they were in the northern portion of Vietnam, a day away from Ho Chi Minh. They were sticking to the side roads and kept reffering to a road map conviniently stored in the glove compartment. "This thing's gunna-" too late, the car sputtered to a stop, they were three days walk from the city. Grey let a frown flicker across his features before stowing it away. He shoved the map into his back pocket. He touched Shu's shoulder comfortingly, though his face betrayed none of his intentions. "Lets find somewhere to sleep," he grunted. "We need food, too." He checked the glove compartment, finding a five dollar bill. Then he grabbed the handful of coins from the drawer where the man kept his toll change. Six dollars and eighty two cents. They'd have to hit a McDonalds. Luckily, they had broken down on the side of a deserted road. "Come, we have to leave before we are found," he said. Grey lead the way. "I know you dont like stealing and I'm sorry, again, but we dont have a choice." Suddenly, Grey grasped his wrist, it was burning. Fleetmembers were calling for him. "You feel it?" he asked. "Let's go." He would have to carry Shu while he flew; flying was the most time efficient form of travel, after all.

| Swordsman of Fire"I know, but it needs to be done," Shu said despite his disapproval. Shu's stomach growled in hunger. "Besides, we need to eat," he said. As they walked, old memories ran through his mind. A few years ago he never thought twice about stealing, now he had a guilty conscience when the mission forced them to take anything, which was quite often. Shu then began to think about his sister, and how much he had changed since she died. In fact, Katie probably wouldn't be able to recognize her brother anymore. But the question on Shu's mind was one he had asked himself countless times, and would ask himself countless more times. 'Have I changed for the better?' Shu wondered.

| Wolves Of Mibu"Well?" asked Grey in a deep voice. "Are you coming, do you want to wait here?" Grey didn't know how long it would take him but he knew his family needed his help. "Shu-niichan?"

Swordsman of Fire"I'm coming," Shu said, starting to walk ahead. While they were walking, Shu tried to think of an answer to his question.

Swordsman of Fire"Alright," Shu said. "Let's go."

| Wolves Of MibuGrey wrapped his arms under Shu's and stretched his wings to their full 13 foot length. Their pitch black feathers seemed to suck the daylight out of the sky. He looked around at the road to see if anybody was watching, then without warning he beat his massive wings hard, creating an updraft and lifting them off the ground. Once Grey was warmed up, they were at least 3000 feet ASL. He sped off in the direction where the call for help was coming from. His black wings flapped furiously as he searched for air currents and coased along them. He kept a tight grip on his teammate. "You okay?" he asked. Thoughts filled his head. What if the person who needed help was Rin? Or his little angel, Tak? If the Ryu had done anything to innocent little Tak, Grey promised himself he would- No! he thought, shaking his head. He was letting his emotions get the best of him.... Ten minutes later they landed in a forest. (move to team one thread)

Swordsman of FireShu felt good to have his feet on the ground again. He didn't like flying that much. It's not that he was afraid of heights; quite the contrary, Shu loved the great view from high places. It's just that he hated that he had to rely on Grey for travel, but even more so, he felt uncomfortable when someone else did the flying and the he was left as a passenger. He wished he could fly on his own, but he was just fine with his pyrokinesis powers. "Where to now?" Shu asked, stretching his arms and legs.

| Wolves Of Mibu"Ho Chi Mihn City," said Grey nonchalantly. "I suppose we should stop hijacking cars," he said. He walked along the road, reading the map. "We can make it there by today," he said smiling up from the map, well almost smiling. (ohhhh thank god swordy, i have been in agony without thine)

| Swordsman of Fire"Good, we're almost there," Shu said. "Exactly what do we need to do there?" (Hey I have other stuff to do you know)

| Wolves Of Mibu(yeah i know but its depressing watching Shi and Nixi speed ahead, but its okay, your posts are good) "A man named Dr.," explained Grey. "I overheard them talking about him in the lab; they were operating on me and they said something about files being with 'Dr.'" Grey walked at a steady pace. "I think that's all he goes by, anyways, they said they were sending someone, or... something to retrieve them from Ho Chi Mihn, his... his, I think they called it his region." Grey appeared to be trying to force memories of the labs back to the corner of his mind... not that he had any.

Swordsman of FireShu understood how difficult it was for Grey to access those memories. Many of Shu's memories from that time have unconsciously been repressed. All he knew was that it was a traumatic experience for him. There were bits and pieces here and there but he couldn't remember anything useful.

| Wolves Of Mibu(one day later, night time) Grey let out a great sigh, settling down on a rock. He closed his eyes. "Tomorrow" he grumbled "We're going to the city" Grey's head hurt. He bit his lip subconsciously. Music played in his head, psalms.

Swordsman of FireShu laid down in the grass staring up at the moon. He held up his hand as if he reaching for the moon. He felt like he could almost touch it, but he quickly clenched his fist. 'Yeah right,' he thought. 'I've always been reaching for it but that's something that will always be out of reach.' Shu then began to think some more, he wondered, what did his future hold. He didn't have anything left to live for, and he always felt like an outcast among Grey and the others.

| Wolves Of MibuGrey laid down next to Shu in the grass. "Reach and it's yours,” he said. A peaceful silence passed over them. After a while Grey spoke again "You miss her right?" he said "Your sister" He wanted Shu to be open to him, he didn’t want to have to steal how Shu felt, he didn’t like feeling like a thief, without even trying to steal.

Swordsman of Fire"Yeah, she was the only person who really understood me," Shu said. "And back when I committed arson all the time, she tried my life back on the right track, even when everyone else gave up on me. Siblings are bit odd, you have your differences yet you're always there for each other." Shu quiet for a while longer, before he spoke again. "You never you know how much someone means to you, until they're gone."

Wolves Of Mibu"Sorry" said Grey "I never had a family" He sighed "Until you guys" he said boringly. He stretched out his wings, brushing Shu's face lightly. "You can count on us" he said, "We are your family"

Swordsman of Fire"I know I can count on you guys," Shu said. "I just wonder where my life is heading. I mean what are we going to do once this business with the Ryu is over? I don't have a home to return to, so I just wonder what I'm supposed to do."

| Wolves Of MibuGrey looked sideways at Shu quickly, then swallowed audibly. "I don’t know" he said "Who knows if this business with the Ryu will ever be over, if we will ever get the answers we want." Grey rolled onto his side and wrapped himself in his wings, it was unbelievably hot here. What was more was the humidity. Grey stood up. "Get sleep" he said climbing back onto the rock. Shu knew Grey well enough by now to know that he usually didn’t sleep, or at least never really slept, he closed his eyes sometimes, but that’s was mostly it

Swordsman of FireShu didn't like the humidity, it made his fire controlling more difficult, but the heat helped to subside that. Soon Shu turned on his side and drifted off to sleep

Wolves Of MibuGrey looked blankly at Shu. He could barely subdue his anticipation, finally he thought, they might get some answers

Swordsman of FireAbout half-way through the night, Shu woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. He decided to take a walk and try to rest his mind. He wasn't sure if it would help, but Shu could never go back to sleep after waking up in the middle of the night.

Wolves Of Mibu"Don't wander too far" warned Grey tentatively. He looked fiercely into the gray-clouded night sky. He began to wonder if Rin had looked in the back of the notebook. He smiled to himself, almost, as he thought of how terribly wrong things could go, he dared not think how right things could go. His hawk-like vision watched Shu as he tread along the crab grassed fields of some hut. He felt like he already knew what they would find out that coming day, but at the same time he didn’t know what it was, all in all it was a confusing state of being.

| Swordsman of FireAfter hearing Grey's warning he wondered if Grey ever slept. He walked through the night and gazed up at the moon again. Just as it had before, it brought back memories of his sister. Shu began to wonder once more, what he would do once the business with the Ryu was over. He felt as if the only thing keeping him bound to this world was the need to defeat the Ryu. (I may not be able to come on much in the next few days. I should have a more free schedule after Friday)

| Wolves Of Mibu(okaies) Grey opened his eyes; he had been resting them as Shu took the second watch. Weak sunlight peeked trough the billowing clouds. It was the morning and it was time to lead Shu to where they had to be. He licked his lips, they were indescribably dry, but he remembered seeing a stream a mile or so back. "Shu-chan, im getting us water okay?" he asked, "Stay here, we have to get moving early"

Swordsman of Fire"I could use some water too," Shu said quietly. Shu wondered how much longer they'd be here. He hated the humidity in the air and he felt that they had been traveling too much. He wondered if the business with the Ryu would ever be over.

| Wolves Of MibuGrey nodded, and was about to take off when he saw Shu's condition. "On second thought we could both do with a wash" he said. "Come on, we'll walk" He started off in the general direction of the water. The heat was sweltering and Grey did away with his shirt. They splashed into the rice paddies, among the locals, apparently it was a thing not to wear a shirt around here. Some of the local women whistled as the two of them passed by but Grey paid no mind to them. He sloshed into the river; it surged powerfully, with force that would have knocked any normal person over. "Come on" he beckoned to Shu. Grey stood still and let the stomach high water clean days of sweat and grime away. His soft gray hair soaked through and fell into his eyes. Suddenly he disappeared under the rolling tide. Almost a minute later he burst from the surface shaking his hair out. He treaded to the shore.

Swordsman of Fire"I hate the water, but this needs to be done," Shu said. He took off his shirt and ran toward the water's edge and jumped in. Shu was submerged in the water, after feeling the temperature of the river he burst to the surface and took a deep breath of air. "Damn it's cold!" Shu said. Shu wasn't sure if he was always this way, or if it had something to do with the feather that gave him his pyrotechnic powers, but Shu was very sensitive to the cold, but the heat didn't bother him in the least. "Let's just get moving," Shu said as he walked back to the shore.

| Wolves Of MibuGrey turned wordlessly and began to run in the direction that they had to go, they would be in the city after half an hour of running, but their supernaturality would sustain them. Grey looked back to be sure that Shu was following him. He was, tailing Grey closely at speeds above average. He frowned, almost, right now, Rin and Tak were probably at the library in Turkey, they were probably on the run from the Ryu Grey knew would be there, waiting wherever the truth might lie (yes i spelled it wrong on purpose) They ran for a couple of miles and finally began to hit pavement, they were entering the suburbs of Ho Chi Mihn. Grey slowed down a little. "We have to go northeast from here" he said pointing to a street sign. They set off in that direction for a few minutes (blah blah skip all that boring walking, and voila! They're in Ho Chi Mihn) Grey massaged his temples, they were surrounded by thousands of people and he couldn't keep all of their emotions away. "Shu-niisan, look for 217 Ba Phu" he said "I can’t really see" the edges of his eyes were getting blurry as he became dizzy from all of the screaming emotions in the atmosphere.

Swordsman of Fire"Guess we both hate big big crowds," Shu said after seeing Grey in pain as he began looking for, '217 Ba Phu'. Shu walked through several streets looking around, but with little success. He felt like he was going in circles. "Where the hell is this place?"

| Wolves Of MibuGrey swore lightly. "Abbas commodo ostendo nos via , pro nos operor tantum vestri opus" he muttered inaudibly under his breath. He walked along, grasping Shu's shoulder for support. "There" he pointed to a small side street leading off from the street they were on. Sure enough the street sign read "Ba Phu". "Lets get out of this crowd" he plead, already beginning to savor the less populated street.

Swordsman of FireShu went through the crowd and helped Grey to get through as well. "Just hang on Grey, we're almost there. If you want I can clear this crowd but it may draw un-needed attention."

| Wolves Of Mibu"Im okay" said Grey determinedly "Don’t do anything rash" he warned. "Come on now, I’ll be fine" he let go of Shu and ambled down the road, examining the buildings. "This is the one" said Grey pointing at a restaurant. "But i don’t get it, why would Doctor reside at a Toukangatsu joint" His eyebrow twitched ever so subtly. "Its nice, but, it doesn’t look fit to house anything too secure" he reached out and pushed the door open.

Swordsman of Fire"I won't do anything rash without running it by you first," Shu said to Grey once they got through the crowd. Then when he looked upon the restaurant. "Never judge a book by it's cover I suppose," Shu said simply as he followed Grey in. Afterwards Shu decided to remain quiet and let Grey do most of the talking.

| Wolves Of MibuGrey walked up to the lady standing behind the reception table "Tháng năm Lời chào chúng tôi có một bảng ở đây vui lòng?" he said softly. The lady smiled and led them to a two person table. "Cám ơn bạn" said Grey kindly as they took their seats. "It would seem as though my Vietnamese has stayed sharp" he said almost seeming pleased with himself.

Swordsman of FireShu just blinked in confusion since he didn't know a word of Vietnamese. "Sorry I only know English and a High School class worth of Spanish. And wasn't paying attention much in Spanish Class."

| Wolves Of Mibu"It's okay I remember enough to get us through the day" assured Grey. "But we do need to find the doctor" "And i just asked her for a table and then thanked her" said Grey, he knew it sucked to be clueless, it was one of the few things that irritated him. "Anyways, we need to eat anyways so i guess this location is convenient" added Grey A young girl brought them a kettle of tea and two cups. "Cám ơn bạn" said Grey dismissively.

Swordsman of Fire"What here is good?" Shu said looking at the menu in confusion. "Damn, I can't understand a word of this language." Shu said in frustration with his lack of knowledge of the local tongue. "How did you learn Vietnamese?"

| Wolves Of Mibu"Whats good here?" asked Grey "Everything in my opinion, but i do wonder how good this particular restaraunt is" sighed Grey, as his eyes swept over the menu. "Where did i learn it?" he asked "When i live here" he explained. "This was my home land, a while ago" he said boringly. The waitress came back and looked expectantly to Grey. "Tôi sẽ có con vịt nướng, ông ta sẽ có toukangatsu có gia vị" he said quickly and fluentley. "Ahn" she smiled and hurried away. The place was relativley calm, with about ten other patrons filling the restaraunt. "I know you like spicy things, you'll enjoy what i ordered for you" assured Grey.

Swordsman of Fire"I didn't know you lived in Vietnam," Shu replied. "My ancestors came from Germany so I wanted to learn German, but the damn school banned it since World War II."
