Leo got up from the ground, dusting himself off fastidiously. He made a mental note to figure out how to use his anti gravity to ease his landing. "So, anyone have an idea why Grey sent us here?" he asked "Or did he just ditch us to do something he thought was too dangerous or complicated for us youngsters?" Leo said the last half with a bit of scorn. **** "Whatever it is, I think Grey's got something figured out" Shu said, in a rare occasion fo speech "I just wish he'd tell us what he's got figured out" he added "But i promise, he didnt tell me to babysit the two of you" Shu sighed, leaning against a tree. The place where they had landed was a dusty, deserted lot. One lone tree was dying at the side of the fenced off area. From here they could see the city's skyline, illuminated by the slowly declining sun. Shu made it evident that, even though he had spoke once, it was over now. **** Kan led his group west, following his internal compass. It was still a little unatural to feel somewhere in his gut the exact direction that they were going. He tilted sideways, and spotted a rooftop where they could land, on the side of a highway. The road was busy, but not too congested, so direvers woudnt be looking up anyway. He brought them down in a landing as graceful as Leo's, behind the broken down and deserted house. **** Having hovered there, Grey waited and watched until his 7 companions had dove toward the earth, his enhanced sight allowing him to watch them up until a few minutes before they landed. Successfuly alone, Grey could focus. He glided off toward the heart of the city, still too high up to catch the rush of emotions from the city dwellers. He dropped to the ground right outside the city, in a lightly wooded area. Checking everyone's signals he made sure nobody was in danger. So they hadn't followed any lead. Grey had figured, that after what Rin said, the Ryu would most likely be waiting in London. He expected them to be drawn away from the city however, when the fleet split up. This was why Grey was surprised that nobody had yet called for him. It was good though, there was a chance that they could get in and then out with the clue. Grey knew that they would more likely than not, have to make a commotion. Wesminster Abbey was never not occupied, there had to be some kind of travesty outside. He figured they'd scope the place out, and then at a point when less people would be there, and once they knew where the clue was, perhaps they could do it without actually being discovered or seen.

[EPIC, wolf, simply EPIC] Fey dusted herself off, and looked around. She hadn't been to London before, but there would probably be little time for enjoyment. "So, what do we do now?" Fey asked, partially to herself.

Tak hoped Shu was being honest, but she knew he wouldn't waste his breath to lie about something like that. Thus she allowed herself to continue her self appointment as leader. "I don't doubt that Grey-sempai does have a lead," Tak agreed. Before she could continue, Leo spoke. "But it would be nice to know where we go from here." He looked at Tak, waiting for her to admit she was as clueless as he. Tak had barely begun to formulate a sarcastic retort when Shu nodded toward the both of them, and silently began to walk purposefully in a seemingly random direction; generally toward the city skyline. She couldn't be sure he had any more idea than she and Leo, but it came as second nature to follow him, considering his flawless navigational records. Contemplating this for a mere second, Tak and Leo shrugged, exchanging glances that said, "We might as well," and began to shadow Shu's footsteps. "It's so empty... where are all the people? Isn't London, like, a bustling city or something?" Leo wondered aloud. Shaking her head, it took Tak quite a bit of restraint to keep herself from rolling her eyes. "You're talking about that, country boy," she pointed out, guesturing toward the skyline before them. "We're not in the 'bustling city' yet." Leo frowned, wondering how he could have missed what lay straight ahead. Slightly stunned, he realized he had been paying a considerable amount of attention to something... someone else he felt more deserving.

Ark trotted down another London way. Loneliness playing at her mind, she couldn't fight back. Separation. She shuddered at the thought. Her team was away, and she was left behind. Darkness toyed with her as she never gave up to try and find them, and earn her place back. She wanted to prove she could make it. All she had to do was follow what the tattoo told her. Ark was quite confused, as she still had no idea what or how she had gotten said mark, all she did was let it guide her. Ark wondered if they even would remember her, since it had been a while ago since the abandonment. She wondered if they would even care. No, she thought, they will. In an amlost desperate tone, she said to herself "....They have to." Now almost glee rushed through her as well as nervousness. Would they remember? Would they be angry? Ark sighed, her emotions toying with her inner thoughts as she rounded another corner, and almost asked herself again, 'Why bother?'

Fey noticed that Kan was on the move; she quickly shook herself from her mezmerization and started after him. No need to lose him within the first few feet of London. "Who is this 'she'?" Fey asked, after she caught up with him. Kan walked fast. "And how close?"

Grey was thinking quietly to himself, holding his altitude, and attempting to focus on everbodies signals, so that he could get a lock on their exact positions and their movements. In close quarters like this, Grey had to make sure nobody got picked off unexpectedly. As this starling thought crossed his mind, Grey snapped from his daylight reverie and looked toward the city. He began his flight, making it to the outskirts without incident, and dropping a little more gracefully to the earth. He began to jog toward the city's busy streets, glad that he was on foot. He stopped, checking everyone's locations. Everyone was pretty stationary, except...Kan. He and his group were moving closer to the city. Had they seen something? They weren't moving fast enough to be running, otherwise he knew he'd have more trouble keeping locks on so many of them moving at that speed. Just as he was beginning his walk again, Grey's eyebrows raised. One, two, three,four...wait...One, two, three... Same thing, Grey kept counting one too many fleet members. 8 others. One of them was inside London. He blinked, turning down a street. He didn't even know if he was going the right way, but he was heading toward the signal he felt. Ark! He had just identified it. Smiling, he figured that the Ryu's had yet to be drawn out, so he might as well bring the fleet back in. Grey sent out a call to them, pulsing his signal as calmly as he could. He didn't really know how to convey an emotion, and half-expected to have 7 supernatural beings rushing to him to see what was wrong. Still, they might as well all be here to meet the fleet member, and see what in gods name she was doing here.

Ark shuddered slightly, and gasped as a strong pulse went through her body. The strange mark (A cross she had guessed) felt like it had gotten.....Stronger? Almost as if they were coming to her as well.....now she truly was nervous, the emotion that her mind had finally settled on. Would they remember? She hoped so, as she began to pick up speed slightly, coasting her way through London. But......maybe it was just that there was something else in this direction? She began to doubt, and almost jumped in her skin at the other possibility. Was there something dangerous in her direction that they were coming after? Or was it truly her? Now more alert to her surroundings, Ark cautiously went back to a walking pace, eyes diverting every where as she continued in the direction she felt that she needed to go. To the others.

“ I dunno...someone from our fleet,” Kan replied. “ She's close. Come, let's go meet her. I don't know if it was Grey's intention to bring us here because of this, or for something else, but let's just go anyway. We've got a comrade to greet.” The four of them continued on their way as Kan lead them onwards, reaching a busy road junction, waiting for the lights to turn green. Kan winced at the noise of all the cars and machines zipping past the roads. The younger team members merely all looked around curiously, as if they had been brought to some new unfamiliar park, taking in the sights. Kan wasn't really interested in the sights, but more towards the people. Kan could feel the feeling much closer now. Their other fleet member, Ark, was hanging around somewhere, possibly also looking for them, as he felt her presence coming towards them. However, his eyes caught sight of something that was all too familiar. Ryus. A number of six of them were walking around right across the street, walking along as if they were heading in a certain direction. They were all wearing windbreakers with hood over their faces, but he managed to catch sight of their eyes of one of them. The irises were unmistakable, and Kan had lived long enough from running away from them to know when to spot one. 'Are they after Ark?' Kan thought darkly. The lights turned green, and the cars stopped and the pedestrians started crossing the road. “ Keep your guard up, Ryus are here,” Kan said, crossing the street hurriedly as the rest of them followed him with anxious and slightly worried looks on their faces as he quietly sent a short signal to Grey, wherever he was.

Shu's group, now also enroute to the heart of london had reached the outskirts, and were jogging through the streets, gaining on grey's signal. Leo didn't appreciate being dropped a few miles out of the city only to run back in, but figured Grey had a reason. Aside from always being so distant, Grey had kept them alive enough times to be trusted. There may not have always been food in his stomach, but there was always air in his lungs. Shu's eyes scanned the streets quickly, and beckoned the younger ones to follow him down a less populated street. The other two followed faithfully, Shu's sense of direction coupled with his highly developed use of the tattoo tracking system had elected him leader. They were following him for a while until he stopped and turned around, pulling them the other way abruptly, for he saw what Kan had seen as well. Ryus

Ark shivered, and she gripped her arms tightly, steading her body. She felt something. Something evil. Shakily she lifted her head, wondering what was causing this sensation to racket through out her body. She walked at a faster pace now, and let a gasp escape her, as she kept looking back, and not ahead as she almost ran into a wall. She stopped herself, leaning against it, taking a deep breathe. "It's okay Ark," She tried to calm herself, "You're just a bit nervous since your meeting up with them. That's it." Though she tried to comfort herself, it was failing drasticly, and the suspicious glance from a stranger stopped her cold. Those eyes....She ponedered, and this time couldn't control the shake that went through her body. Who ever that was, she knew wasn't good. She nearly ran, just barley listening to the mark anymore, just wanting to get away from there. She didn't even see that Shu was now in seeing ranage, as she kept her head down, and looked back every couple of seconds.
As she ran, fear encompassing Ark's cognition she stumbled ahead, fleeing that which she did not know, someone's hand closed quickly around Ark's forearm, pulling her down a street. Grey spun her in so that she could see his face. He didn't need her screaming her lungs out now. "Shhh" he hushed, looking at her face. It was good to see her now, but he, like the others was beginningto see their suitors among the normal citizens of London. There were a lot of them, and they didnt seem docile. Their mission was not reconnaissance. "Were in a bit of trouble, but, dont worry" he flashed her a half-smile "I'll take care of things" with that, he proceeded to pull her along behind him quickly. It seemed like he was turning down random streets, but he looked like he knew what he was doing. Sure enough, within a minute or two, they tumbled onto a main street, right in front of Kan's group. Grey scanned them quickly. "Seen the others?" he asked quickly, letting Ark's arm go. 'boy' he thought 'she sure was getting a grand welcome' "You've seen them too right?" he asked, nodding to the man sitting in a barber shop behind them. His eyes were unmistakenly Ryu. "Seen what?" Leo asked, tapping his foot increasingly anxiously. "Grey, whats going on?" he asked, stepping forward in front of Tak. "Ryu" Grey said, figuring that the youngsters were entitled to the knowledge as well. They too were members of the fleet with growing...talents, as Tak had exibited in the apartment.

Ark felt herself being dragged along, and the only thing going through her head was 'Oh fuck!' and she strugled slightly trying to escape her captor, but her attempts were futile, and she gave in. Her eyes widen, as she saw that of someone who had the same mark. That she knew. The sensation was flowing through her vains, and she felt she could trust him, as he spinned her around so she could see his face. Ark was pleased to see teh face of Grey."Shhh" he had said, and she did as told. "I'll take care of things" He added, and she stiffened. She could never be sure, but she wanted to be back with them, didn't she? That was her main reason for graving a (Expensive!) fligh to London, to meet up with them, right? She gave in once more and nodded, and let Grey tug her along. He seemed to know what he's doing, she decided, yet he still had an air of uncertainty, she noted, as all of a sudden there were more. Tak, Kan, and Leo! Ark was slightly over joyed to see them again, and relieaved to see someoen closer to her age as well. Ryu. That word, she mused. it sounded so.......framiliar. But, why? She searched her memory, trying to find out why, but all things came up blank. 'Damn!' she thought, wishing she could place the name, and the eyes. They were Ryu, she knew, but how did she know them....Ark stopped her thinking, as she realized thet they were still in a London, surounded by people, any of whom could be Ryu. They were here somewhere with them, somewhere close. And she didn't like that at all. "Um, is there a plan?" She asked, almost sheepishly, pointing the question to Grey, who she know to be in charge, unless something ahppened while she was 'away', "And if there is, is there any way I can help?" She added. She wanted to contribute.

((You may want to edit your post, everyone in the fleet knows each other, so Ark would know everyone, and everyone would know her. She'd also know that Grey was more or less the leader. She might not know yet what Ryu are, depending on what kind of galavants her team got into, that much is up to you))

Kan looked around nervously. He felt Grey’s swooped down on Ark’s signal (it was relatively confirmed that it was Ark in London), so she should be safe, but somehow, the Ryu’s had managed to disappear into the crowd. Kan wasn’t sure what made them break off, or what made them leave all of a sudden. His eyes swept the crowd once more, trying to spot the Ryu among the mess. However, he could not find them, the small group earlier seemingly having vanish into thin air. Kan made a tch’ing noise under his breath before walking off towards the street, turning a corner where Grey had taken Ark. The young girl relatively the same, black hair with silver highlights running down her sides. Her attire was about as dark as per usual, but Kan wasn’t really complaining. Kan looked up all around him, wondering how the heck did Grey managed to land in the middle of the busy city without being noticed. Or perhaps he was, he just didn’t care? “ And if there is, is there any way I can help?” Ark asked. “ Well, I suggest that we can get out of this place. Ryus are floating all over the place. Besides, Grey, what are we...” Kan stopped talking when he suddenly caught sight of Rin’s eyes widening all of a sudden as she look at something right behind him. He spun around, only to see three Ryus, all wearing windbreakers right behind him. One of them had his hand being drawn out of his pocket, the item he was holding looking very similar to a Berretta pistol. Kan didn’t wait, nor did he even any thinking about it. He pulled out his revolver, and pushed leo, who was the closest, to the ground. He fired first, pulling the trigger faster than the Ryus could, blowing two holes into his chest, before firing at the other two, two bullets to the chest each, their black blood gushing out from their exit wounds. All of a sudden, there was a sizable amount of screaming, and some hysterical crying all of a sudden. Kan knew he had shot the Ryu in self defence, but shooting a Ryu in broad daylight didn’t help matters, not that normal humans could do anything about it anyway. There is bound to be some repercussions. He gave a quick look around, seeing a number of Ryus lurking some distance away. ‘Was this their plan, to attract attention to ourselves?’ Kan thought. “ Make a break for it!” Kan exclaimed, throwing his now useless revolver aside, as he broke into a run. “ They are most likely going to call for the police!”

Grey leapt into crisis mode faster than seemed possible. "Rin, Kan, Leo, and Sen get out of london, at least 5 miles away, and hide, I'll be able to find you" he said, and pulled Leo off the ground. "Tak, Ark, Fey and Shu we're on cleanup" he said. Someone was already trying to detain Kan, Grey knocked him out with ease. Weather it was one on one or even three on one, no human was a match for a fleet member's strength and agility, a crow however, nope. Grey grabbed Kan's revolver and started to shoot into the air, shouting in a language that was most likely vietnamese. Anyone thinking about taking them on, was now running. Grey nodded to his comrades, and becconed to the four he had taken as a group of their own. He raced across the street and toward the Ryu's bodies. Grabbing one, he dragged it until it leaned against the wall of a shop, pulling the other two and piling them with the first. His hands began to radiate his signature blue energy, and Grey fired a blast of it at the bodies at point blank range. After the flash of light had gone, little still existed of the Ryu's bodies. Some ash, and smoke. Their blood was still on the streets. "Ark, see if you can't evaporate that blood" he said "If not, then find some way to tottally fuck the crime scene up" he said, looking at the skies and then through the streets. There were police sirens. "We've got about 30 seconds to get out of here"
"Tak, Ark, fey, and Shu we're on cleanup." Grey said, and with a curt nod, she set to work. Eyeing the area, she moved swiftly towards the scene, and watched as Grey took the Ryu on with ease. He then shouted, in a language that she did not recognise, and stayed cauticous. Her ears started to hurt from the noise, and the shots being fired didn't help. Humans ran off in a panic, leaving them to solitude. Grey disposed of the boides, with a blinding blue light. Thats when the siren wailed. Shit, she thought, as they knew they didn't have long before the cops showed up. The only evidence left was the Ryu blood, and there presence, and shit there was a lot of it! "Ark, see if you can't evaporate that blood," Grey started, "If not, then find some way to totally fuck the crime scene up." He said, "We've got about 30 seconds to get out of here." That added presure! She worked in a hurry, skidding to a stop, and thought 'now or never'. She wasn't proud of her powers, and the fact she wasn't that skilled with them yet. She took a deep breathe, focusing all ther energy to a small circle she had made with her hands. A black zapping light formed, and with all her might, she zapped the blood creating a black lightning covering the roads, to end up with red vapor. Soon the vapor was gone, and the blood had vanished into the air. "There," She sighed, glad that it had gone the way she had planned. She was pulled out of the state of uneasyness, as the sirens wail became louder. "Um, we should go now, right?" She asked, darting to another corner, into a close ally, not wanting to get seen by a cop, as the siren wailed once more.

Everything had happened in a fairly blurry blur from the moment Kan whipped out his revolver. In fact, so blurry that Fey had managed to only dodge a few stray bullets; before she knew it, Grey was shouting orders at them--her, Tak, Ark, and Shu. Ark? Oh. She kinda remembered Ark. were on cleanup--and the street had cleared. There wasn't a whole lot she could do, but maybe she could search for the bullet casing, if they hadn't been desintigrated by Grey's lightning bolt[[**is that what it's called?**]] a few seconds ago. There were a few flashes of a brassy color. Quickly, Fey managed to collect three of the casings[there were six shots she heard, so, logically, six casings] and pocketed them. Who knows what the forensic scientists and police would search? "Um, we should go now, right?" Ark had asked, as if to everybody still there, then darted down an alleyway. Fey glanced around and saw a dark shadow she could crouch down in until Grey was finished and sprinted in that direction.
Grey turned around, counting heads. The group he had told to head off was doing just that, and his squad was clearing evidence. If anything, the spot where Ark had done her thing was much more conspicious now, but at least there was no black blood of mysterious origin pooling around. Grey stopped short. "Wait, Fey, where's fey?" he asked Ark, looking around frantically. "Fey, come on, we have to leave like...yesterday" he said, not very worried about Fey's safety. (after all, Fey could handle herself) Still, he really did need her to get back here so they could get going. "Kan, up up and away!" he shouted to the other group, already halfway down the street. It didnt matter who saw them, at this point, they needed to get the hell out of there before anyone caught a picture of their faces or anything like that. He moved with extreme purpose, pulling Ark's shirt up over her face and picking her up by the waist. "Fey, stay covered" he called out. So, naturally, Fey came running out to his side. "Ohh, jeez, im sorry, i forgot, no wings right?" he asked, looking around. Grey turned to Shu and Tak. "Join us in the air, but fly the wrong direction for a few hundred feet up, dont uncover your faces until you break the cloud level" Grey turned to Fey. "Go with Shu" he said. The fleet member with red rings in his eyes quickly scooped up Fey, and lead Tak into the street. There was a battering of wings and the other group took to the air, their face buried in their chests. "Up" Grey said, taking a preemptive leap onto a car roof, then taking off from there, Ark securely pinned to his side. She might have been screaming, surely this was her first time flying, and she may not have even known that anyone in the fleet had wings, much less, could use them. Indeed, when they got to safety they would have lots of explaining to do.

[getting ready to shower, will be back. So what exactly is Fey going to do, wait for Kan or somebody to pick her up? Or did Grey carry her off? I'm confused..]

[If you read the post i made, it says she's still in the corner where she went to wait. Grey, not having known that, and being too caught up to located her viz tattoo, shouted to her to do an "up up and away" ((wait, does fey have wings, if not, then, I'll change the post))]

Ark listened to instruction well. She held her ground, awaiting as to what was going to happen. She was confussed, and oddly nervous. How were they going to get out of here in time? Fey? Grey was asking about Fey. Ark stiffened, where had Fey gotten to...That's when she heard it. "Kan, up up and away!" Grey had called out, and she coulnd't help but think, what the hell did that mean? She got a quiziled look and let out a small yelp when Grey suprised her -which she would kick herself for later- by pulling slightly on her shirt over her head. What was going on? Ark despretly wanted to know. Had they all gone crazy? He spoke as if they were to fly. She almost mocked the word, but kept silent. She had a feeling they knew what they were doing.....She hoped. Plus she felt she would be a burden if she talked now. There wasn't much time. Suddenly she was pinned to Grey's side. She couldn't conatin herself anymore, even so, whe she couldn't see through the thick cotton. "Grey, what are you-" She stopped herself with another humiliaty yelp as they jumped. Butterflies were in her stomach as a hard racket went through her body as they hit something hard and sturdy. She stated her question again, just with a bit more panic this time, "What is-" But she never could finnish when she was shocked into silence was ground was no longer at her feet. Too stuned for words she let her ears listen to the rhythmic flapping of wings. Wings!? Her pupils dialated, as she fought hard to find the words to form her number one question: What was going on?
Truly now, they were airborne. Rising, rising, rising! 20, 50, 140 feet up into the air. They flew from the city as hard and fast as their respective wings might carry them. Tak an Leo brought up the rear, but still kept quite good pace all things considered. Everybody's face was marred from view in some manner and by now they were approaching the cloud level, near the upper stratosphere. Figuring it was highly unlikely anyone could hear or see them now, Grey moved his hair out of his eyes, and gave everyone the signal to relax a bit. His arm was still holding Ark tightly to his side. his grip was iron, and unmoving, but at the same time warm and gentle. "Sorry Ark" he said softly "I know you're probably freaking out now, and I'd take your short off of your face, but you'd probably throw up if you saw where we were" he said quite frankly "I apologize that you had to find out like this, but, most of the members of the fleet now have wings" he said without much tact. "Its highly illogical, i know, but we are able to retract them into our backs via some extranneous muscle tissue that the feather must have granted" he said, careful with his words. "You need not worry however" he said "I can feel your panic, but, i promise i wont drop you"
Ark had left her stomach behind as she felt nothing but air sorrounding. The logical side of her mind kept screaming, this can't be happening! While the more open side kept saying, This is so cool! WHich she would agree on, she was unsure but logic was getting a good kick to the ass at the moment. They were flying. Something that goes far beyond human possabilities. She tried to take a deep breathe. Grey would keep her safe. That she knew. He wouldn't drop her. .......Right? "Sorry Ark," He started to tell her gentley, "I know you're probably freaking out now, and I'd take your shirt off of your face, but you'd probably throw up if you saw where we were," he went on, "I apologize that you had to find out like this, but, most of the members of the fleet now have wings." Wings? Logic was at a complete loss now, unless it was some sort of lab experiment. A shudder went through her body. She had seen a few of those, and she found it cruelty and very much inhumane. A gust of wind rippled, and threw her hair back, bringing Ark back from her ranting mind. She was still trying to grasp the possability. Fly. "Its highly illogical, I know, but we are able to retract them into our backs via some extranneous muscle tissue that the feather must have granted," Well there's her explenation. "You need not worry however," he had continued, "I can feel your panic, but, I promise I wont drop you." That was reasuring, Ark thought to herself bitterly. She didn't like to think about that possability. This was definetley going to take some while to get used to, but she would try at least. Taking a deep breathe, she knew this wasn't teh time for panic. She slipped her shirt back slightly, so she could breathe easier, and almost regreted it. Her eyes bulged. They were so high! She took another deep breathe, closing her eyes. Openeing them again, she seemed more calm. The sound of the rhythmic beats of the wings flapping was actually quiet calming. It ment they were still up, and not falling. "I'm okay," She told Grey with her best effort of a calm tone. She should have ecpected this anyway, with there 'powers'. "I'll just need to get used to this...." She muttered the last part, when his words hit her. Most of the members in the fleet have wings. "Um.....Grey?" She asked, "When you say 'most' who does that include....and dis-include?" She asked.

Leo cried out in release, doing a sloppy barrel roll, and falling a couple dozen feet. "Whosh!" he said, pretending he was a fighter plane. This was their life now. They had just watched three ryu get shot, and were on the run from officials right now. Still leo acted as though this was a smooth pleasure flight. He felt his molecules adore the air. This was where he belonged. It felt as though he'd been able to taste the air forever, as opposed to only a few weeks. He looked over at Tak, scratching his head. "Hey!" he said, gaining altutide until he was level with her. "Uh, nice...air, huh?" LAME. He mentaly hit himself. ************ (forgive me if i leave someone out) Grey smiled, "You're taking this a little better than i thought" he said. He could feel comfort soothing the edges of her tension. "Well, as for who it is that has wings, Leo just got his, i've had mine a while, Rin, Tak, Shu, and Kan" he said, counting the members in the air. "Though, i havent seen all the fleet members since first reunion" he muttered. Grey's lungs worked in tandem with his wings. In. Out. Up. Down. His sharp gray eyes trained on every little movement, which was only the fleet, and an occasional distant bird. "Close your eyes, you're going to get wet" he said "Hope your not wearing any white" With that as warning, Grey broke the cloud layer, dousing them in a film of water vapor and leaving glistening crystals of water in his hair. He smiled slightly as he watched the rest of the team burst through the cottony white clouds.
Tak was enjoying herself too much to notice, or care for, the glaring opportunity Leo provided to insult him; she merely smirked and replied, "Yeah.. it's nice," and sped beyond him, daring him without words to try and catch up. Flying never got old. Soon the clouds were in view, and Tak grinned. She'd always enjoyed this part especially. Bursting through the seemingly cotton-like exterior, Tak was drenched in the sharp coldness of water vapor. She blinked, getting any water out of her eyes, then looked down to see that she was still ahead of Leo, but not by much. She smiled down at him-- one of those rare, unintentionally genuine smiles-- then returned her focus to the airborne path ahead.
Leo shot a look after Tak that i belive is most analogous to a cat who's fur has been ruffled. He struggled to keep up but it was a lost effort, she simply was more used to flying than he. He broke the cloud level with the others and flew alongside her, a huge grin on his dew-speckled face. such innoccence in the face of a murder. Grey looked around and beckoned the group a little closer, still using one hand to pin Ark's body to his. It was almost humorous how little atention he seemed to pay to her, and still never slip up once, maintaining a strong and reassuring hold on her. When the group was close enough, staggering to protect from any collisions of wings, Grey spoke. "Okay, here's the deal" he said, his voice raising above the wind.
