Topic: The "Hey, I updated!" Thread

Okay, I've been looking around, and it looks like the news of updated stories is scattered all throughout the forum. I thought it might be a good idea to have one thread where we can post news of updates/ new stories, and that way we all know where to look for news concerning new chapters/ stories. Does it sound like a good idea to you guys?

Okay, I'll start this off by saying that chapter 2 of More Than Meets the Eye is up!

Hmm, everyone says that chapter didn't seem rushed, well I guess it must be me. Well I'm glad you loved it. I know I'm not that that good at writing though, but I'm still trying. All you guys in this forum are really good at writing. One day I hope I'll be a bit better, aye.

Yes! Monster updates rock! :) I'm going to have to post several updates next week, because I'll be going away at the end of next week until the middle of August (a long time, I know). So, keep your eyes on the board, I bet I can get in two more chapters of More Than Meets the Eye next week.

We'll miss you aroud here, twentyfour.mad :( Hope school is bearable.

Hey guys! Well sorry about the school twentyfour.mad! to stop jealousy of my long summer break just remember that once I am back in school at the start of September I'm there until the end of December! Thats like 4 months! Then after that all I get is a week off in April!

School, is school, you go there for what seems a million years, and you come out, hopefully ready for the 'real world'. Well yeah 2 months Huddyalways until break is over, lucky you and 4 months in school again. Wow 4 months I only have about 2-3 months. July the 16th then to September, just before my birthday, well more like 3 days.

Oh Palmer4President can't wait for the huge update.

Congratulations April the 24th you say that's the same day as Glenn Morshower -Aaron and Eric Balfour- Milo Birthdays. lol you are lucky you share your birthday with famous people! Oh and you also share it with someone in my class.

Oh my birthday is on the 27th of September. Yeah that's the same as Avril Lavigne, yeah.

Terrific you also share your birthday with a large state test, Congratulations.

Why exactly am I using congratulations.... alot. It sounds like a game show.

Maybe not China, maybe New Zealand, heard it's a good place to live lol.

Okay, well I have gotten up one more chapter of More Than Meets the Eye. It's not as long as others, but I will have a much longer one up by the end of the week.

Oh, and Huddyalways, in answer to your question, I'm going to be a counselor at a summer camp for a few weeks. Should be fun, but with no access to a computer, it will be impossible to update until I get back.

How did your laptop break?! Did it fall from a 20 storey builiding lol.... oh nevermind, maybe I don't want to know.... Well hopefully not everything on your laptop will be erased, you're lucky you've got your very own laptop, I have to use one of my Dad's 2 computers, well one of them is a laptop.

I'm not sure when it will be up! And the guy at the computer place was all good then he saw this screen that I told everyone kept coming up and he goes oh crap! My mom and I were like what, he said well thats the blue screen of death! Can u believe it? crap!! Anyway I'lll be in my last camping trip today till Sunday, my last vacation till I start scary 9th grade! Well ttyl

Oh man, you got the Blue Screen of Death?!? I don't mean to put a damper on things, but that's definitely not a good thing. My parents' computer is always doing that and my dad always freaks out like "Ahhh! What are we going to do?" It's kinda funny to hear about my dad's computer woes, but at the same time, I have to sympathize because it could be me next. Still, if you give it to the computer techs, they'll probably be able to fix it. They have to deal with Blue Screens of Death on a day-to-day basis.

Have fun on your camping trip! And 9th grade isn't that scary. It's a bit of an adjustment, but once I got into the swing of things in high school, I couldn't believe that I had ever enjoyed middle school.

Great, the Blue Screen of Death. Last year basically every computer in my class had the 'Blue Screen of Death' that was horrible. Hopefully like President4Palmer says them computer techs should be able to fix them. Happy Camping.

Extremely delayed reaction, but I updated More Than Meets the Eye, for anyone who didn't know. It'll probably be my last update for a few weeks as this whole back-to-school thing has really thrown me and my ability to keep a schedule out of whack. Still, hope you all enjoy(ed) this chapter, and I promise it's not the last one! I will update and eventually finish this, it could just be a while.
