Since this story is going to have every spoiler in the book in the beginning, I would prefer it if said beta has seen the movie ...

My plot is already explained in the 'Do I Dare' forum, though, I'll post it in short terms:

Basically, three kids (Not Mary/Gary Stus, not self-inserts) arrive at Fleet Street after they roleplay the story for a while.

They all become the characters they were playing; Lucy (OC), for example, became Mrs. Lovett. Here's the kicker:

The original character's emotions overpower their own, except in times they were near their fears and/or near death. So, Mrs. Lovett STILL screws up. The plotline of the actual movie is hardly messed with.

Chole needs to find a way to get them all home, even when one of them refuses.

There are a couple of holes I need help with, but overall, I have it figured out.

I am sure I'll really be in need of a beta soon, the first chapter of my story turned out alright by itself, but there's alot of stuff I don't know about writing, I really want it to turn out good.

*sigh* I trust Fireplacians over others, so I've ambled my way over here.

I've been working in and out of writer's block for months now, and my style is just as choppy as the ins and outs of my inspiration. And, to top it off, I've written something of a gloss-over of a battle scene in the current chapter of my fic (something I am terrible at).

Would there be anyone willing to critically look over my newest chapter of my Harry Potter fic? I don't need story help so much as flow, corrections, and maybe suggestions on spicing things up (if the beta was very generous). XD It is slash, but there is nothing more than a mention of such in the chapter. I really don't trust my own reading-over ability right now, and though I have readers willing to beta, I would rather have an outside, impartial person for this chapter.
