Welcome to the Furnace Pyrefly! I'm Sao, and I'm the welcoming committee today. ;)

LOL. Nah, I saw a new post, and was like, "Newbie? Cool."

That's great, I remember my first story.

Hope you feel welcome here! There are heaps of awesome threads to look at. :)

Hello there! I'm Yuidirnt, I'm 16 years old and I live in Italy. Weird fact about me? I always have nail polish, if not I feel naked!

I know what you mean! I am the exact same way with clothing. If I'm not wearing clothing, then I just feel naked!!! ^_^'

Hello Pyrefly and Yuidirnt, welcome to the Furnace! Hope you guys have fun, and learn something too at the same time. We are all growing as writers, and it would be good if we all worked together, as more minds are better than just one on it's own.

I just posted my first story ever just this morning.

Wow, congratulations! I still remember my first story . . . it's extremely embarrassing now, but at least it shows how much I have improved as a writer. Hopefully, you'll improve so much that you'll also be embarrassed by your past work, because it is a sign of progress.

The Master Critic

Who am I? Who is but the form following the function of what, and what I am is a man in a mask. However, on this most auspicious of days, allow me then in lieu of the more commonplace sobriquet to suggest the character of this dramatis persona. Voila! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished; a vital voice once venerated, now vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation now stand vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violent, vicious, and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance, a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain for the value and veracity of such that shall one vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Yet verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it is my very great honor to meet you, and you may call me V.

Bollocks aside, I am the Master Critic. My mission here to rip apart the bad aspects of the worst stories out there. I also read good fics and if I find something wrong I'll point it out. It was F/R who inspired me to take this mission.

Vimmi99

Good day

My pseudonym or as some call it 'penname' is Vimmi99 but my real name is Vicki. I have been aware of the happenings of FF.net for about a year but have held off making an account until recently. I enjoy many things that are to boring to list here. These include drawing, reading, writing , soccer and occasionally origami. I am a quiet person by nature because I find people my age to be quite immature. Unfortunately I am (and will be for a while) a teenager which comes with the 'label' of being a lazy incompetent fool who thinks they know everything -which fits only half of the people I know. Currently I only have one piece posted and its more of a drabble than anything. I hope to have the beginning of a story posted by the end of the month.

Have a nice night.

Welcome, Master Critic and Vimmi99, to the Furnace. :) I'm Sao, a FP regular who likes to check up on the Furnace every now and again. I'm on the Welcoming Committee*.

Master Critic - I have a feeling that you'll prefer the Fireplace. ;) As a FP girl myself, you seem more the type. The Furnace is where we turn for help and advice. The Fireplace is where we mock and otherwise degrade badfic. :)

Vimmi - I hope you enjoy your time in the Furnace, and if you ever need help, many people will be able to answer any questions you have. :)

Again, welcome! ^_^

*The Welcoming Committee does not actually exist. It is Sao's little joke about meeting newbs. :)

Hello Master Critic, Vimmi99 and JDizzle, welcome to the Furnace! Hope you guys have fun here, and we can all learn from each other at the same time!

Heh, going by that sentence, I would say that V has a real kick-ass vocabulary. Makes me want to watch the movie one of these days, if I have the time.

Bollocks aside, I am the Master Critic. My mission here to rip apart the bad aspects of the worst stories out there.

You know, I think Sao is right, the Fireplace would be more suited for you. In this forum, we learn more about the aspects of writing and how to improve our skills. While we do mention badfic, it is only to find ways to learn from those mistakes and how to avoid them.

I am a quiet person by nature because I find people my age to be quite immature. Unfortunately I am (and will be for a while) a teenager which comes with the 'label' of being a lazy incompetent fool who thinks they know everything -which fits only half of the people I know.

I know this is probably out of topic, but I would have to say that when you mention that people your age tend to be quite immature, it does seem like you're putting yourself up on a pedestal. When I was younger, I had the same mentality, and boy was I miserable. As a result of that, I could not communicate with the people my age, and I ended up getting having a reputation of being rather snobbish. I would advice you to be more careful about this, because I don't want to see people making the same mistakes I made in the past.

I am also a FP member. I came here because the Fireplace forum is cool, so I just decided to check F/R's other forum out.

Well, if you want to make sure that you don't write like the people we make fun of in the Fireplace, this forum is the right place to do so!

I'm Honest101, and I don't give a damn shit what anyone says about me. I flame people, and I praise people. If it's good, I'll say it. If it's bad, I'll say it.

Hi, I'm Michelle, but I'd like it if you called me Mitch. I'm fifteen, a girl, and a bit of a comma freak.

I write mainly for the pokemon fandom, but I'm not your usual pokewriter. (Meaning, I don't just write pokeshipping, contestshipping, or ikarishipping.) I prefer to write either from a side characters point of view, or fanfictions that are different from the usual brand you find in that fandom. That, or I enjoy writing fluff fics, but of less popular couples. Because of this, I don't get many readers or reviewers, but it's fun.

Fact Edit (old one was boring.) I keep a list of objects I've been hurt by, the clock in the kitchen, the oatmeal containers, the tupperware, etc.

Hi, I am new to these kind of things but recently I had been flamed. But I saw that you were willing to show someone pointers on how to improve thier writing.

What I could never get my mind to wrap around in, is how author's that write, are able to keep in order events and yet still keep it in a clear grammar. One trouble I have, is that when I am writing, it seems like I am a court stronagrapher, dictating things that I am imagining. I wish I could take a creative class, but classes don't pay the bills. But as I see, you are a legitamit writer, and though your critism was harsh, it did make clear what I needed to take more time and focus on my grammar and writing format. I try to do better in my later chapters, though the simple rules of grammar ascapes me. I want to try to do it in present tense, but I get mixed up with using present and past tense in appropriate times.

There are some people that suggest a beta reader, but I have no clue on where and what is that. I am writing as a hobby, but I want to learn as much as I can in writing... though on my own. I may be an amatuar but as the dictionary defines it, I do "amore" writing. I am more of an artist, and I do better with visuals, but still try in literature..

Gemini-

Welcome to the Furnace. :)

There are some people that suggest a beta reader, but I have no clue on where and what is that.

A beta reader is someone that you ask to look over your fic for typos, grammatical errors, and if you choose one from your fandom, OOC and if you choose, following of canon. Beta readers are there to help writers improve, and pick up on things that the author may not have noticed themselves.

I am writing as a hobby, but I want to learn as much as I can in writing... though on my own. I may be an amatuar but as the dictionary defines it, I do "amore" writing. I am more of an artist, and I do better with visuals, but still try in literature..

There are many threads here which you may find useful. Good luck, and welcome. :)

Writing is my hobby, though I have tarried with it long enough. School drained my brain enough and kept me wrapped up in work to delay my return to this site. Writing has always been a long pursued goal of mine. I try at it. I usually take my fics and revise them while they're still in-progress and keep at it until I'm satisfied, which usually means never. I role-play (Exalted and White-Wolf) and am a huge Penny Arcade and Dr. McNinja. The latter for the laughs and wit; the former for the sharp writing of Holkins and to stand in awe of Krahnulik's art. God, I'm sounding freakishly formal. Must be because its 2:40 in the morning. Peace.

Felinae Silvestris

Greetings. I'm Eminems6, but feel free to call me Emi. I've been hanging around the FP and thought I'd wander in here since after tomorrow I'll be coming off of a two month writing break, with plenty of ideas to get started again.

Basic facts - I'm twenty-one, Scottish, a vet-in-training and I am the most honest person you'll meet. I do tend to put people off though with flippant conversations about doing surgery, dead animals and experiences in the post-mortem room. I'll keep that to a minimum here though. ;)

I love writing and reading and I always have done. I've only been writing fanfic for just over a year, but I love it even if my pet fandom is dying. I'm good at both giving and receiving advice and very appreciative of constructive criticism. I hate that the standard of writing on this site seems to be getting worse (making a generalisation here), but I want to help towards a solution.

Weird facts about me? I'm obsessed with the colour purple, drive around singing along with Rammstein at the top of my lungs and I will sleep in a bedroom that looks like a bomb has hit it, as long as the kitchen and bathroom are clean. I also like to wear scrubs as pyjamas, because they're just so comfy.

Edit to avoid confusion: I have recently changed my penname to Felinae Silvestris. However you may still refer to me as Emi.

mrs.tinamarina-funfunfun

Hey guys.

For those of you who don't recognize me from "The Fireplace," I'm Tina, owner of one of the infamous "Mrs.'s". I usually bother the Fireplacers, but since I've really been looking for some con-crit and I've had time to actually improve my writing (O_o) I've decided to move in here too.

I'm pretty annoying, loud and bitchy, and I use very bad language. I occasionally flame and equally occasionally write, but most of my time is spent on forums.

I'm really, really bad at detecting trolls. Like, insanely bad. So, if you're a troll and want someone to flip out at you, then just call my overlong name.

Anti-Logic

I might show up here sometimes, so might as well introduce myself. xD EDIT: Looking back, that's quite the understatement...

I can go by Anti-Logic or just Anti, although I sign emails for people I beta for "Scribble," just because I've always wanted to be called that (although it hasn't worked so far).

General stuff...

I'm really into music in all forms, especially the epic soundtrack-style kind. I'm very forgetful and I don't understand fashion whatsoever. I read too much and I get distracted by the internet too easily when I'm trying to do my homework. I'm technologically retarded, but I'm a grammar freak. That makes up for it in some weird, pointless way, right? I'm obsessed with American History, which gives me a strange mixture of pride and revulsion. I used to be extremely closeminded, but two years out of private school and I'm a progressive Democrat and proud. I constantly strive to improve my writing, and this looks like a good place to do it in. ;)

Shadow of Death -His Tears-

Anti, I know what you're saying.

Well, I suppose I'd better do this.

I like to be referred to as Mira or Desert, though I could honestly care less. I love writing, reading, music, and being different from other people. I hope to become an author when I'm out of school (or before), and so I came here to improve. I cannot STAND half of the people I know because they're so superficial, but don't bother with that part. Having said that, I hope I can be more of a contibution than a burden to this forum. XD

I.am.so.sick.

Hello

As you might've noticed, my pen name is I.am.so.sick. , but you can just call me TarĂ. I am not english, but my main purpose on this site is to both write fanfiction and improve my english and grammar. Hopefully both will turn out fine in the end.

Most people who know me say I'm an extremely weird person with a subtle addiction to conflict. That is not entirely true, although sometimes I can be quite vindicative. In fact, I can be considered a very nice and well manered person by most, but my guess is that we all have our inner dark times.

I must say that it was a big surprise to me when I came around with these forums; in my innocent and blissful hour of reading Rowena DeVandal's LOTR parody, I came across with an idea and great urge to review it in the need of saying everything I thought truly. The next day when I opened my email, Rowena had replied to my review with an honourable suggestion of checking out both The Fireplace and The Furnace. After a close examination of many of the threads, especially on some of the WoW threads, I have to admit it. I laughed my butt off. Never had I found such amusing posts in my entire life! And as for F-R, well, all I can say is that there should be a monument in his honour.

Best Regards to all,

TarĂ

PS- Rowena, you need not eat your shoe xD

otherrealmwriter

Hi! I first of all would like to thank FR for unblocking me. I will admit I have been a little immature in the past about handling flaming, yet I find myself sort of drifting that way with some of the badfics in the Invader Zim fandom. Curse GIR! He's cool but I think he is starting to ruin the fandom. Well rant aside I'm otherrealmwriter also known as Other, Otherrealm, Realmwriter but most often I'm called Realm.

I am a rather outspoken person but I also am starting to learn when to not be so outspoken and which battles to fight. I have been told I was pretty smart and I am pretty nice actually I can just get stubborn at times. I plan on lurking here from time to time to collect writing tips and ask questions I may have. I have been flamed by FR but thanks to some people when I asked around I found out why. Honestly I had no clue when I got it what was wrong but thanks to some good samartians out there I have fixed one of the major culprits.

Weird thing about me? Ummm.... *thinking* I often pick apart sandwiches after I ate some of them and finish it piece by piece like eating the meat then the cheese then the bread.

Writing fanfics is my hobby and I hope to improve while I'm on here. I know I have a little at least from the first story I posted to my newer ones.

Well that is all I got now.....

Bitterly Yours xoxo

Hi, I write under Bitterly Yours xoxo ( a sad piece of my emo history that I'm too lazy to do anything about) and I've been a member since '03. I took a two year hiatus around '05-'06 and am just starting to get back into the groove of writing fanfiction again. Because I've been gone for so long, I'm having a bit of a hard time with the new features and stuff. That and I was completely oblivious to the work of Flame Rising. Not really weird, but after reading a topic at the Fireplace, I immediately took down all my stories (actually, I only had three) and plan on rewriting them so that I don't end up on any of the WoW lists. Strangely enough, it took one bored Saturday during my trip in Korea for me to take up writing fanfic again :D

#330 Jun 24th, 5:28am
pyrolyn-776

Hey everyone. My name's Adalyn (Ay-duh-lin), but I go by Pyro. I'm 15 and obviously bored. Let's see...it's 3:00 am, and I still have not completely adjusted to the time difference between the states and Japan. Yup, for four, ridiculously short years, I lived in Japan. The sad part? I've been here for two weeks and I'm still staying up until 5 in the morning, before finally falling asleep. And this is how I waste my time, not reading a good novel, not enhancing my vocabulary, not preparing myself for my sophmore year of high school (not that I need to, I could sleep through all my classes and wake up with an A), nope, instead, here I am wasting my teenage life away on FanFiction. Oh well.

Weird thing about me: When I was seven years old my brother's best friend "accidentally" (or so he claims) hit my mouth with a 7 iron (that's a golf club kiddies). I blacked out, and woke up with blood all over me, and around me. Here's the weird part: 8 years later, I have perfectly straight teeth, no braces necessary. My brother on the other hand...well he had an in-grown jaw, and needed intense surgery last year. Karma. That's what you get for not watching me like you should have. Dumbass.

Nice to meet you.

Athena Hermione Ravett

Uhh...Hi, I found this forum through the fireplace during my search for mary sue realted items, and I really like the idea of this place, so here I go:

my name is not allowed to be shown on the internet, so I go by AHR. (that was originally going ot be my pename but it was already taken D=.

I am currently in highschool, where I either get an A+, a B- or a D.

I have been told my stories, and drawing are great by my friends, yet I secretly call them 'easily satisfied' so I have no idea how my work is, but I haven't gotten a flame yet so that has to mean something XD. (either that or I'm just that invisible)

I read/write: Naruto, Harry Potter, Avatar the Last Airbender, Death Note, are just a few, but I usually stick to the first two.

Weird Stuff about me: I love to argue, and I can't stand when I read an interesting board that I have not replied to. I have created alot of accounts that way...

I also tend to love other peoples opinion- to the point of insanity. Especially with my stories, my friends tell me -As long as you liek it yo don't need another persons opinion- THEY ARE DEAD WRONG. I live off of the opinons of others because Their gonna be the ones reading it. Not me!.

I also have spelling issues. Not the normal 'how do you spell weird?' issues, in fact I can probably spell better then most of my grade (I used ot think it was because I read alot, but I have a friend who reads more then me and can't spell for the lfie of her) but my hands are a bit clumsy on the keyboard. I usually notice on a chat board, but it usually slips past me in my fics- which makes me a hypocrite because I'm a sucker for pointing out spelling mistakes in another persons fic.

Adn thats all you need to know about me. I hope to improve alot of my fanfictions here. =)

Squito

Hello, I'm Squito. Other weird names of mine include Arson (from a bunch of wacky skits my friends and I made Freshman year) and Pyro Poulet (Made in French class. My cohorts were Hydro Ananas and Pommes de Terre.).

Weird things about me: One, I LOVE JIMMY BUFFETT! If there wasn't an age difference I'd go to the ends of the Earth for him, but I'm 17 and he's past 40. You won't find anyone else randomly popping into song, singing "Margaritaville" and "He Went to Paris" in class. Plus, he's a writer, and an awesome one at that! Two, I'm not on the debate team or anything, but I constantly get into arguments with teachers and other people concerning things such as abortion, the legalization of hemp and marijuana, creation/evolution, euthanasia in hospitals for the terminally ill, and other such things. Three, I'm probably the most dry humored volunteer at the hospital, especially with all the crazy elderly people and druggies we get on ICU.

Most of the fanfics I write will be in the Animorphs fandom, though I might put stuff in X-Men Evo, Invader Zim, and lesser visited fandoms such as Cats, Wolf's Rain, and Elfen Lied. (Nothing in Harry Potter, Eragon, Naruto, or other popular places where 90 percent of the stories are shit!)

Kiiro Kasai

....

I hate introductions. I never know how to begin. It's just as hard as starting a story.

Anyway, hi there, call me Kiiro. Why? Well, my dA name is Kiiro-chi. Why? Because I happened to be braindead at the time, and had a Japanese dictionary nearby. So, I flipped it open to a random page and picked out a cool sounding word.

Random Fact: I wish I'd named myself Catwings instead . . .

My favorite things to write are both romance(I know, "Everybody's doing it, there's too much!". But, well, what can I say? I adore fluff, and romance = fluff. Either that or it equals angst, which is just as good) and humour.

Well, anyway, some strange things about me would be . . .

I love strange pairings to bits. Examples? I pair Kairi and Shadow Sora, Sephiroth and Cloud, Shippou and Kaana, Riku and Roxas, Yuffie and Vincent, and many others. Unfortunately, most of these pairings are hard to come by(Kairi x Shadow Sora is literally impossible to find . . . I'm starting to think I invented the pairing, egoistical as it sounds. xD), so I usually waste my time re-reading my favorite fics.

I do like some of the more popular pairings though, such as AkuRoku, SoRiku, Cleris, CloTifa, ZackCloud, ZackAngeal, Zemyx, etc. Actually, I'll like pretty much any pairing if it's written well.

....

I had more to say, but I forgot it.

Random Fact: Randomness and forgetfullness are two distinctive traits of mine.

Living in a make believe world

Well I go as Angel and I'm from the fireplace :). I know my writing sucks so I currently started a new story and have a beta reader for it :D. Uhmm well one weird fact about me is that I used to get a rash every single summer until it finally stopped around 3rd or 4th grade. I like to write about romance and tragedy but to my surprise even if the story sucks xDDD I enjoy writing about humor much more. I like weird pairings and I won't get into that right now XD. I think that's everything :) toodles XD.

Aos Dana

Well, I suppose I'd better introduce myself...

Aos Dana here, I'm from Ireland and a weird fact about me hmm...

My eyes have a tendency to change colour from green to brown and sometimes yellow, which can't be a good sign. According to a boy in my class I have "photographic memory" but then again he asked me to how to spell Wednesday so...yeah. I also (along with about 80% of the population) can't speak proper English. I add "like" to the end of every sentence, "dya" is a normal part of my vocabulary. "Yer one" and " Yer wan" is perfectly okay. So I only use proper English when typing. That's about it anyway.

Name's Seren, a little new to the forums, but not overly so: I admit to lurking around a bit.

East Coast Ryder

Well, hello there, all!

My name is (on FF.N, anyway) Ryder, and I am a 16 year old female high school junior who has enough credits to be a senior. ECR is also an acceptible way to abbreviate my really wierd name, which, interestingly enough comes from a Good Charlotte song... though I grew out of the band years ago, I still go by Ryder for all my internet handles. Huh.

Anyways.

I absolutely HATE people who don't bother to run a simple spellcheck on their fics- It also bothers me when people say things like "I had a beta, but right now I'm more worried about getting the chapter to you then proofreading it." Argh. I'm also the person my friends go to to meticulously proofread their essays for AP Language and Literature (mind you, I'm a year younger then them) and they get 30/30 but I spend hours on mine and somehow barely scrape 20/30... Odd enough.

I also will say that my first post on any forum on FF.N was in FR's other forum arguing against his methods (FR is a guy, right?) but that was like a year ago, and, while I still do disagree with his methodology, I agree with his overall goal.

My random factoid: I currently have a fifteen page long list of quotations that are probably the most amusing things ever. Meticulously sorted by subject, it has never failed to make anyone laugh with one of the hundreds I have. I have actually used some in my stories.

Raven the Ravenous

Well, I'm Raven the Ravenous and it's been about a whole year since I became a member of FF.net. Oh and please call me Raven.

My pen name doesn't make sense to me anymore but since I've been recognized so much by it, I don't think I'd ever change it.

So I stumbled upon The Fireplace forum a few days ago and introduced myself there but then I realized that there was another forum for someone like me, The Furnace.

I'm a 19 year old college student (which hasn't started yet, the fall season that is) with an English major, who is still living with his parents. I can't drive (I'm afraid of getting into accidents and freeways), can't swim (I nearly drowned four years ago), and for the most part, I've always been an outcast. That does not mean I was a loner; I had some popularity back in high school and hung out with some good classmates that liked me for me. My favorite snack are brownies. My hobbies are playing video games (mostly of the RPG variety), reading a good, adventure book (I read Harry Potter books because they had piqued my interest but now, I've lost interest in them), reading manga (mostly online), writing fanfiction and fiction, and when I have time, watching anime. I don't have a job as I do not really think I could handle having one. My favorite bird is the raven and my favorite animal is the frog. I like reading just about any type of genre of fanfiction though my primary ones are adventure and humor and romance...if it is good.

So while I don't like badmouthing people on the site, I particularly don't like reading chat-speak-written fics or fics with really bad grammar. I'm ashamed to say that I've actually reviewed nicely on some of them (although some of those writers improved so that's some progress) and once, when one was badly reviewed by a flamer, I came to the The Fireplace, I believe, and acted rather immature. But I guess if I were to say that "being nice all the time isn't a good thing", then flaming has its reasons to stay.

But I'm here to help and ask for help really. I've seen my fair share of fics though I only frequent the anime/manga and games section really. I'm on the forums now after coming across a snag on my current fics, two I realized a few days ago that need to be removed...and one rewritten. And the other reason for needing to remove one of the fics is because I just saw how close my main OC is to a Gary-Stu...in my Pokemon fic. Unless the fic is a parody or humor genre, I absolutely loathe Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu type characters. While I am picky on spelling, grammary, and punctuation (I seem to still have trouble with the latter two on occasion), I am also usually picky on the story, especially if it's my own.

It's no use hiding how crazy I am about pairings; it's hard to write about something else and it's in my profile. To prove that I'm not joking around, I planned out a really long fic on my currently-obsessed pairing from the Black Cat fandom that is about 100+ chapters long yet sliced down into 5 parts. Yup, I'm serious about that one although I don't mind; the fic is also a bit of a challenge for me that I made to test my writing skills. As for romance fics (which is what the majority of pairing fics tend to usually have as their genre), I like the kind that isn't obvious and isn't blatant because if it is, it just spoils the fic for me. That is another challenge I'm going to go through with for this Black Cat fic.

Wow, I noticed I talked a lot when introducing myself? Sorry about that, it's kind of nerve-wracking when you're posting in a thread made by the guy who you badmouthed a couple months back. Anyways, rather two weird facts about me to end this: I have a weird kind of heart-shaped mark on my right wrist...that has HAIR growing on it. Yup, that's right and this is the first I've ever told anyone about this as this is one of the easiest ways for anyone who once knew me in school to identify me. Well, that and my name. ^^;

The second is that my birthday is the same as Bleach manga-ka Tite Kubo! I was surprised to learn about this news too when I looked him up.

Oh and for my own curiosity, what is a troll in the fiction universe?

And just to be Captain Obvious, I would like to state that I am a guy. Anyways, it is nice to meet everyone on The Furnace forum. ^^

Yes. Too young to leave home, too old for a good beating. Too young to have good sense, too old to want to have good sense.

My thumbs are shit-fucking-tastic. (EDIT: goddamnit, I should have known the filter was off)

...And I write fanfics about pikmin. They are shit-fucking-tastic as well. If you're absolutely obsessed with destroying your underage minds with pointless drivel that rapes the ass of every thing that is pikmin, purposely... You know where to go.

If this isn't incriminating enough, I will write more.

Godammnit Heath, I didn't see you there! Stop scaring me like that. Jebus... WE HAD A DEAL!

Hello to the Calvin guy.

Lah-de-lah, I'm going to go back to writing drivel and posting it on the internet to waste somebody else's time because I wasn't original enough to come up with my own unique world and characters.

Hey everyone...uhhh...not a heckuva lot to say about me really. I've been a member of this site since fall 2004, but didn't begin writing here until around the summer of 2005. I've written about 16 stories since then, and through trial and error figured out a good number of techniques to try and make my writing better. It's been over a year now since I really sat down and got to some serious writing, and I've decided to join this here forum to possibly learn some new tricks and get my writing mojo back.
