Topic: Dead Like Me Movie in works!

Yes, apparently it's true-there will be a Dead Like Me movie! Whether or not it will have the same cast of characters is anybody's guess but it will be released straight to DVD apparently so it's up to the fans of the show to buy it or not.

In my opinion I don't think I'd watch it if they didn't have at least some of the main characters from the tv show. They'd have to have MASON! and George and Rube at least, and Der Waffle Haus too so Kiffany would have to be there too.

Eek! I never heard anything about this until I read this post. Then of course, I spent about half an hour scouring the internet for more information. Apparently Ellen has been signed on for this movie, so George'll be there at least.

It's rumored to start filming in August/September. Let's all keep our fingers crossed!

Yeah, that's like exactly the way I found out... It was on another forum though. I just started watching Dead Like Me a year ago I only watched a few episodes here and there and finally got fed up with the bits and pieces I knew about it and bought the entire series for 60$ canadian.

Yeah I heard they were gonna be filming in Montreal, I plan to visit my cousin there sometime this summer. I also went surfing the net for like half an hour trying to find out as much as I could about it.

Apparently, they've already started filming since July 1st.

I really looking forward to it. I've just gotten through the first season on dvd and am awaiting my copy of the 2nd season (Which I've already seen, so it was weird watching the 1st one 2nd). But I'm sad Rube isn't coming back :(

Ya, I can't wait until it comes out. Daisy is going to be played by someone else and Rube is gone. There's another boss who gives the reapers their jobs. Mason and George are going to be played by the same actors.

awe I'm so sad that Rube isn't coming back, he was one of my favourite characters. but atleast callum blue is still Mason so we can laugh over his adorable british antics :) oh, how i love mason...

ehhh i was so happy when i found out about the movie, but with a different daisy and rube gone i don't think its going to be worth watching.

I just want to know if the movie will tie up the unanswered questions. After buying seasons one and two and practically memorizing the lines myself I think it's about time they hopped to the movie. Too bad that Rube and Daisy will be different though. That's a tad depressing.
