Random, but Dandy's update got me thinking. Flinda. I still don't particularly enjoy it, I want Fiyero with Elphaba. But when I saw the show live, I remember feeling that connection. It was like: huh... that's why they kind of worked. Even so far to say that I think if Elphaba didn't exist they could've skipped off into the sunset together.

But of course, Elphaba exists, and I like Fiyeraba.

I think I have drastically changed my pairings now that this is revived, so I'll post them now.

I like Fiyeraba, but mainly unrequited adorable lusting from afar Fiyeraba. Or Shiz Fiyeraba.

Gelphie is adorable beyond words. I love it insanely. It's possibly my favourite pairing.

And I like the love triangle: Galinda --- Fiyero ---- Elphaba ----- Galinda.

Or fics where Fiyero is in love with Elphaba and Elphaba is completely oblivious.

But apart from that, when it comes to Wicked, I am very, very open minded. :)

I first read the book and I was a total Gelphie fan - yeah Fiyero was there and yeah he and Elphaba had the actual relationship, but I was way too busy lovin' both witches to care much about him- and Gloq. I love Boq, and the idea of the geeky boy getting the girl was awesome to me, because really how often does that happen in life?

That being said I then found out about the musical. After that as far as I was concerned it was Fiyeraba all the way, I couldn't really not. Gelphie sort of lost its way with me, I find it very difficult to read now - I think their friendship holds more meaning to me due to its focus in the musical, in the book there wasn't exactly a whole lot about it so it was easier to romancify them. Hearing about Gliyero was a bit of a surprise but it wasn't, afterall what story doesn't have a few romantic entanglements, so in making an adaptation it was sort of expected. I like it as a pairing really except that Elphie would be alone because I couldn't see her with anyone else, so no.

Still love Gloq.

I've read a really nice Fiyessa - (though I can't for the life of me remember who wrote it) it also had hints of Fiyeraba, but that's probably unavoidable - and a couple Biyero's. They're nice but Fiyeraba trumps all.

And I probably shouldn't have said that given the current topic of unusual pairings and the fact that the Wicked section (unlike the Harry Potter section and probably many others) has so far remained free of threesome pairings.

Well Harry Potter has such a large fanbase that multiple/various pairings are a guarantee, plus there are like way more characters to ship. Unfortunately, in every group there is always one bad apple *raises hand* yes I am a corruptor to the Wicked pairing community. This has to be my Wicked OTP, my deepest darkest pairing secret, brought about by too much too good fanfiction. Glessaroq. :O

Explanation: I've always loved Gloq, Bessa can be quite sweet and then I read your stories from your pairing revolution-thingy and fell for Glessa. The whole unrequited love issues made me think why not complete the Nessa - Boq - G(a)linda love triangle so that everybody's happy. It's the only ship from any fandom I like that has more than two people. I just don't want any of 'em to be alone. I adore all three characters so much.

So yeah I was totally taken by the influence of the wonderful writers of Glinda/Boq, Boq/Nessa and Glinda/Nessa - especially the last one, that's what started this off. And a particular Bessa fic, with an interesting dream sequence courtesy of Boq (I can't remember the title or author otherwise I'd credit them) Lol perhaps they're glad I can't.

Anyways this has been long enough, my Oz it's practically an essay! And yet I never could produce as many words for school :S I've probably also mentally incapacitated all readers of this forum with my rather crack!like pairing :/ Many apologies.

I just hope no one I know finds out about this, I'll probably get carted off to some asylum :D Or die from embarrassment. Never fear I will not post anything so traumatising again :)

I know what you mean about the book Gelphie vs. musical Gelphie... in the book, I feel that the girls actually had a weaker relationship. I felt Elphaba's bond with Boq, per say, just as strongly as I felt the link with Glinda. It was marked with that messy friends/lovers-ness that actually made it... bleh, I don't know what I was getting at. I feel their connection more in the musical. Because then, it isn't "I love her... but do I LOVE her?" It was "I love her, she's my best friend, and we're so close" Potential romances doesn't get in the way.

Not that I'm saying romance weakens a relationship. But I think pure, unadulterated friendship leads to a stronger connection than one based primarily on romance.

Does that make sense?

I love pretty much any take on Bessa/Glessa/Gloq, musicalverse anyway. However I don't know if I can quite see it as a threesome pairing... er, grouping. Maybe someone will write one and I can see.

I admit, I'm... intrigued by threesome pairings. That sounds so dirty, and I don't even neccisarily mean it in a sexual way. Frankly, even in the real world I don't see anything wrong with three people all having romantic relationships with one another. *shrugs*

99% - That was quite the chat you had with us! I see your point about book vs. musical when it comes to Gelphie or not, and totally agree with why or why not.

Me write? Ahaha eh...I don't think so I've had three story ideas churning around in my head for well over a year and all I've got is a couple scrunched up wads of paper and mindless drivel. WHY!! I dunno I just can't get my words on paper and be satisfied with it. If anyone else wants to give it shot by all means go right ahead.

Yeah I've read your Fiyessa fic danderson, loved it. And your Glessa fic too, each new chapter makes me squee on the inside. Yes that's probably the longest conversation I've had about anything that's not Wicked. Oh wait.....
