Topic: Kingdom Hearts Role Play
I’m not sure what the usual plot for KH role plays are, because I’ve never ever done a Kingdom Hearts role play. Feel free to suggest something!

Please make your character in the appropriate topic and feel free to jump in whenever you're ready!

_____________________________________

Hi everybody. Here is where we will role play. The floor is open to anyone who wants to start, and you can build on from where the last person leaves off, or even post from a different location entirely, depending on where your character is. This is something we can totally have fun with.

1. You can choose to write it in book format

Ex. "It’s King Mickey!" exclaimed Donald. He leapt in the air and shrieked with gregarious enthusiasm. "I can’t believe he’s finally here...!" You get the picture.

2. You can write it in script format. If you do, here are the guidelines:

Name:

--------------------

--------------------

--------------------

You start off by telling who's speaking by writing your character name and then a colon. Please use your own character, and if you want to use someone else’s', please ask their permission. The dashes (----) would be what your character says. You can put actions in asterisks, like this:

*Slashes key blade* so that we can distinguish what the character is saying from what they are doing.

That seems like it for now, but if I have to add anything, I will. I hope you guys will join me in RPing. So feel free to start off the role play.

Ayame

I stretched, rolling over on the bed that I, myself, had rearranged in my very room.

Blinking hazily around, I rubbed my eyes. Trying to clear my vision, once doing so, I leaned over and pushed open the huge windows. They made a small noise as it opened, finally i stared at the sun. The beautiful colors stretching the horizon.

Twilight. I liked it, it was so wonderful, especailly with the concept of not many actually getting to see this. I smiled, it was like the view in Roxas room. I smiled even wider, today was the annual Struggle tournament!

I glanced at the clock and nearly fell off my bed. Damn, it was late and Olette was not a very keen person on me when I was late to meet her. I quickly shuffled off my bed and went to grab my clothes.

"I'm hurrying!" I whispered to myself, already hearing Olette in my head.

Struggle Tournament Stage

I stared at the floor as I sat on a bench near the stage. Every part of my body was covered by my worn out coat, with exception of the front part of my pants and feet as well as my hands. My face was covered with the shadow my hood gave me, only visible features were my nose down to my neck.

I leaned on my bandaged sword, waiting for this tournament to start... hopefully the cotestants will put up a challenge. I've been lucky these three years, not being found by the Organization. This luck couldn't last for much longer. I could feel it, but if my destiny is to be caught by them...than it shall be...

(Since I couldn't really see a way of responding to Inuys post, I merely stuck my character somewhere ^.^)

I tugged on my boots, jumping quiet awkwardly as I ran over towards Olette. My chest heaving i smiled at her. "H-hey!" I greeted. She smiled but it faded, her mind suddenly changing as she looked at me. She took hold of my hand, her eyebrows furrowing.

"Your late!"

I sighed, "I know...I know." I hung my head, "...um, how late?"

She glanced back at me, "Well, the guys are already over there, they didn't want to wait..."

I snorted, "Hmph. Boys."

She laughed and lightened up on her once death grip. "Kay, let's go."

I nodded, finding the skateboard laying around. I smirked, pulling from her grip i ran towards it. Picking it up and throwing it down I jumped on it. Olette gaped at me and I waved at her.

"I can't be any more late!" I waved, "Hurry up!"

Olette sighed and began to run after me, "Ayame, be careful of where you going!!"

___________________________________________________

Hayner glanced at Pence who glanced at Roxas. (I'm assuming he's still there too...) They all sighed and glanced around at the competition.

"Geez, Ayame is going to be late." muttered Pence.

Hayner sighed, "That ditz...bet you anything she'll come in and do some big entrance she wasn't expecting to do with Olette tagging along behind her..."

Roxas raised an eyebrow, "Really now?" he sighed and than laughed.

Hayner nodded, raising his fist and pointing across the square where the tournament was being held. There was a sloping road, "Right there."

Like on cue, Ayame came around the corner. Jumping the corner and landing roughly but still on the skate board. She leaned back and struggled to keep balance.

"Ayame!" yelled Olette from behind her.

"Ahh!!" she screamed, her skateboard hitting some random object causing her to fly off her skateboard and head first towards the stone stage.

Hayner sighed, "God, i love it when i'm right."

The other two just shook their head.

At the Twilight Town Inn

Leaning slightly forward with her arms propped on the banister, Aravis began to think of the prior events to her arrival in this strange city, to which the name was so extraordinary. “Twilight Town,” she murmured to herself, from the balcony of her inn room, where she was able to overlook the quiet suburbia.

A familiar ruffling of clothing to wind whistled silently from behind her. “Cloud,” she acknowledged kindly, nodding and turning her head to face the emotion-mangled former SOLDIER.

“Aravis,” he recognized in kind.

Silver clinked against metal as Aravis tapped the banister, her rings drumming the alloy. Cloud went to stand by her, accepting her gesture. “Look down there,” she suggested to him, and pointed out into the distance far below them. “They hold a Struggle tournament there—annually. I was thinking if you entered, we would have an excellent chance at winning that prize munny.”

Laughter escaped Cloud unintentionally. “Why does it have to be me? Why don’t you enter the Struggle tournament?”

Taken aback by the question, Aravis lightly touched a hand to her bosom. “Would you really make me fight all of those big, bad, horrible men?” Lightly caressing Cloud’s forearm, which was also supporting his weight against the banister, she smiled flirtatiously and stepped backward into their inn room. “It’s getting late, Cloud. Go to bed.”

Twilight Town Plaza, In the Shadows

A loud pop reverberated in the alley as Xander snapped her bubble gum between her teeth. “Any minute now,” she murmured to herself, peering deeper into the shadows in which she stood. After another five minutes, she swore silently and licked her lips. “Where is that Axel?” she hissed. “He was supposed to have met me already…”

Waiting another ten minutes, she figured Axel wouldn’t show, and she melted into the shadows before reappearing, clad in—not her cloak, but—a white summer dress and wooden sandals. Her black hair was sheathed beneath the wide-brimmed sunhat on her head.

Skipping across the plaza, she made her way to the stone stage where she knew she would find Roxas. “I’ll just have to take care of it myself,” she said, and skipped more giddily when the boy came in to view. “Roxas!” she cheered, paying the slightest heed to the two girls and the two boys who accompanied him.

Without a word spoken, Roxas seemed to tense, and, even without the aid of this, Hayner stiffened and leapt from his crate, approaching her warily. “Who are you?” he asked her accusatorily.

“I—,” Xander stuttered. “I’m sorry! Please, where are my manners? My name is Xander, and I’m a friend of Roxas’…isn’t that right, Roxas, dear?”

Silence ensued before the brunette nodded in response. “What do you want, Xander?” he said, rolling with it.

“Well…I was just coming back from the plaza, and I was wondering if you’d like to go out for ice cream, but I see you have friends…” Her eyes roamed over Pence. “If you’d like, I’ll treat them, too! All the ice cream they can eat.”

Parting his lips slightly, Roxas made a move to object, but this was forgotten when Pence leapt from where he sat and threw his hands up in the air, cheering. “I love this girl! Let’s go, Xander!”

A gasp escaped the disguised Nobody as Pence dragged her away. Roxas made quick, but reluctant work, of following. “Xander, slow down!” he shouted after them.

Struggle Stage

My eyes widened as I sensed a familiar presence, Xander... I didn't move in hopes of not being noticed. XIII was looking for me, and they might have found me. So my predictions have come true, so my destiny has taken a turn for the worst. (Is that the right phrase?)

I looked up slightly, and there I saw her talking to some kids... and Roxas!?! So they sent him after me as well, but why the kids? Were they nobodies in disguise? My powers of increased ten-fold since that day, but will it be enough? Only time will tell.

I got up and strung my companion on my back, followed by walking past Xander and Roxas to sign up for the Tournament. Seems Roxas has signed up, this is going to be very interesting...

(Hey since Xander is in XIII they have to know each other, and lets just say Jason left before Roxas did ;])

In Pence’s firm grasp, Xander struggled to free herself at the prickle of a familiar presence. “I—I need to take care of something first! I haven’t signed up for the Struggle tournament yet!” she shouted, and when Pence finally released her, she shoved her coin purse at him. “Treat yourselves to it,” she said to them, and ran off towards the stage.

As she had suspected, the dark flicker in her peripheral vision was the very same Organization XIII cloak that she habitually wore. It must have been Axel. Bounding up to the conspicuous character, she placed a consoling hand on his shoulder. “Axel, I’ve been waiting for you all day! You were supposed to speak to Roxas with me!” Turning him roughly with her hand, a gasp escaped Xander when she realized the face was not Axel’s, but the seemingly long-forgotten, “Jason?!”

There was an instance when he jerked from her touch, but she grasped on for dear life, throwing her arms around his waist. “Oh, no you don’t!” she shouted, and clung to him with every fiber of her being. She would wait for him to settle down, she figured, before asking him, “Where have you been?”

The look on his face was not that of anger, but of surprise. “I thought you had left us, Jason!” she exclaimed, eyes hot with emotion. “I’ve been worried about you! It’s not nice to just leave without saying good-bye, you know!”

My eyes widened again, she missed me?

"Wait what?!? You mean your not here to drag me back?" my eyes still wide in disbelief. My hand began to wander towards the handle of my blade. Making sure I was ready for an ambush.

Pouting, Xander released him as his hand reached for the hilt of his blade. “Damn you,” she muttered, and black mist enveloped her. There was an instant when she seemed to disappear, but she appeared once more a moment later, cloaked in the Organization XIII garb, her fiery keyblade in hand. “If you wanted to be skeptical, you could’ve just slapped and pushed me away; but no-o-o-o-o! You ignorant men have to think with your blades instead of your heads!”

The kids had already rounded the corner, except for Roxas who seemed to fall back a bit. He glanced back, taking in the sight. “Of course I want to drag you back, you jerk, but that’s not why I’m here! I’ve been after Roxas.” Clutching her keyblade, she spread her feet apart, taking up an offensive stance. “Let’s rumble then. Is that what you want? If you don’t do it now, Axel will do it for me later.”

"Ohhh f-" my words were cut off as her weapon was thrust towards me. Luckily, but reluctacly(sp?), I blocked it with my large blade. I have mastered my blade completly in its normal state, so I know I should be able to take her in her normal state.

"I am destined to win this battle!" I swung my blade thrusting her back again. My eyes not leaving her body, I thought of a plan. I could either take my time and defeat her in my state, or transform and defeat her quickly before she can transform herself. Although this would be convinent, its a large risk. If I lose control, my Shadow could take over... and all hell will break loose...

I didn't want to fight, but I wasn't going to go back to XIII!

"Do you know what they planned to do with me? Do you!" I snapped at her, "No way I am going back! Not until I can take down Xemnas!!!" I thrusted my sword at her, and sparks flew as my blades heavy metal crashed down on her fiery weapon. I noticed it threw her off balance, and I saw my opening. But rather the deliever the final blow I merely thrusted the tip off my hilt into her stomache, leaving me a chance for esacpe.

And I took that chance, I disappeared into the darkness...

(Not trying to make your character sound inferior to Jason, but make it seem like you underestimated him. Because he has been gone for 3 years ;] Also note that I made him think that it would be trouble for you to transform, since Jason hasnt mastered his transformation states. So techniqually Xander is stronger than Jason lol)

Roxas helped me up, I smiled at him. Blushing slightly at him, "Yeah, not the entrance I wanted." I rubbed my head. Hayner lifted his hands in the air in a loud sigh.

"Nope. But it was the entrance I said you would do." he smirked.

I glared at him, punching him on his arm. "I am so not going easy on you..." I muttered. Olette laughed and Hayner glared.

"Like I'd let you..."

"Hmph. So sure, are you?" I asked challengingly, "I happen to remember the score being 5 to 2...was it?"

He scoffed, "Pluh-ease. Your imagining things..." he waved me off like it was nothing and I scowled at him. My attention switched as an unfamiliar girl came up. Black hair and white dress...I lifted my brows as she clung and greeted Roxas. I felt my jaw twitch, I suddenly felt protective. wanting nothing more than to probably claw her eyes out.

I brushed my bangs back into place. crossing my arms she seemed to get friendly, Xander. I scoffed silently, pretty wierd name...but I wasn't about to say anything...I sighed about to walk away to check if the tournament would start sometime soon, something to drive my mind away from that flirtly girl with Roxas, but as I was about to, Pence jumped up.

Someone must of mentioned food, I rewound the whole conversation i seemed to miss. Yep...ice cream and on her. I sighed but Pence drove her away along with Roxas...I clutched my fists. I glared at Hayner who seemed to snicker quietly, Olette sighing at Pence.

"Shuddup." I cursed, grabbing hold of Olette, we stalked after them.

I ran up to Roxas, finding that him and Pence were suddenly alone. I turned my head, trying to find her again. she was going to treat us to ice cream...and I was going to make sure she bought me ice cream...I sighed. I was really such a jealous monster...

"Where'd she go?" I asked them.

Roxas pointed off, "To sign up for the Tournment."

I nodded and than gasped, "Hey, did we do that yet?"

Roxas and Hayner exchanged looks. "We did." They both murmured. I gasped loudly.

"Oh my god!" I spun on my heel, "THANKS FOR THE REMINDER!" i yelled over my shoulder. Hayner shook his head.

"Ditz." he murmured. Olette glared at him.

"Come on." she waved at them and they followed after.

I ran back, trying to locate the booth by the center ring to sign up. I hated my mind for sidetracking me...I turned the corner, stopping abruptly. My footing shifting, almost falling back on my face but I kept my balance, luckily. It was that one girl...except...she wasn't wearing her dress. I pulled at gloves, some other guy was there too.

"H-hey!" I yelled suddenly. The guy i barely recongized as one of the people at the plaza...he stuck out like a sore thumb...hard to miss. He suddenly stepped back in what seemed like darkness, but...

I blinked, the girl had been stabbed. My jealous rage vanished and I ran over to, leaning over her. "Hey, um...Xander! You okay? Xander!" I shook her lightly, she wasn't my friend, yet...

Argh!!! I was WAY too nice...it would be the end of me.

Watching Jason disappear into the darkness was a harsher blow than the one he had dealt with the hilt of his blade. “Jace…” she murmured after he had gone, winded still by the crude assault. Voice soft and course, she said to the “friend” she wished was still there, “I don’t like Xemnas, either…”

Exhausted from the damage, she let her body drop onto the stones, feeling her heart beat rapidly. “Damn him,” she muttered. “I didn’t mean that I would rat him out.” Footsteps echoed on the cobbles somewhere north of her head and she blinked rapidly, realizing that she was in her dark Organization duster. Darkness swam around her, but not enough for the passerby to notice it.

“Hey, um…Xander! You okay? Xander!” Her eye twitched. It was that girl she had seen with Roxas. What was her name…Ayame, maybe? Before she could blink again, she was looming over her, expression veiled with what Xander assumed was a sort of feigned sympathy.

Nodding, Xander struggled to sit up. Shrugging the coat off, she revealed the sundress again, which she had replaced the leather with. “I’m alright, thank you,” she said in a high falsetto, seemingly innocent to the outsider’s eye. “I should probably have given him what he wanted.”

Gasping, Ayame’s face went shocked. “Did he try to take something?”

She seemed distracted. “Well…” Xander’s lie would work out just fine. “He wanted my coin purse…but I gave it to Pence for you all to buy your ice cream. After I told him that I didn’t have it, he tried to hurt me. It’s no big deal. Not too much damage dealt, anyway.”

Letting a false sigh of relief slip from her mouth, Xander leapt to her feet, pretending to struggle, as she hobbled over to the sunhat she had summoned to appear several yards away. “I guess this got away from me!” Before Ayame could look back, the coat had sunk into the shadows.

“Shall we sign up together?” Xander finally asked, brushing off her hat. “I haven’t yet, and I figured I would do it while I’m here in Twilight Town.”

My body reappeared on some nearby rooftops, sword still in hand. I was watching Xander and a girl I had never seen before? A new XIII member? Couldn't be, she doesnt have the feel of a Nobody. Until I knew who she was, she will be avoided.

"Sorry, Xander..." I mummered into the air, probably thinking it would somehow reach her ear without revealing my location. She was signing up for the tournament now... this will be most troublesome. Looks like my destiny is taking a dive. I sighed before wrapping and hanging my blade back on my back, my mastery of this weapon was almost flawless. In one fail swipe, my blade was bandaged and strapped on my back.

(Just wondering, is the struggle battle tourney gonna today [as in rp today] or tomorrow? [again RP tomorrow lol])

Sighing, Xander backed away from the table after signing up for the Struggle tournament. Despite having just met her, she waited for Ayame to finish—grateful somehow that she had been so concerned about her after Jason’s assault. He’s probably still here, she thought, scanning the plaza curiously. I saw his name on the sign-up sheet. He wouldn’t leave with the tournament only a day away…

The wind rustled her dress curiously and she placed a hand on her thigh, holding the fabric down, as the other hand flew to her hat. “It’s getting kind of cold, isn’t it?” She wasn’t expecting a response. “It’s not like the weather to be cold at this time of the month.” Peering up at the clouded sky, she thought she caught a glimpse of him, peering over a rooftop. She frowned, not sure if she was just imagining it. Waving, nonetheless, she beckoned to Ayame and skipped away.

Off of the central path, Aravis ambled patiently with Cloud, who looked preoccupied. Once they reached the plaza, the brunette pointed at the stand across the way. “There it is, Cloud. You can sign up over there.” He grunted an affirmative and Aravis stayed behind, watching his back as he made his way to the table and scribbled his name. Upon returning, he smirked tauntingly at her. “What?” she asked him.

Shaking his head, he told her that they should go. Aravis had no clue that he had signed her name beneath his.

From the outside, it would have been peculiar to see the young Aravis, the spitting image of Xander, with brown hair and green eyes, opposed to the black-haired, red-eyed Nobody who masqueraded as a young child in a sundress. Of course, they were both oblivious to one another, so there was no trouble between them.

Elsewhere, Xander and Ayame had finally caught up with Roxas and the others. “Hey, there!” she called to them, skipping up to Pence who had an ice cream clutched in his hand. There was a small pile of popsicle sticks on the ground. Pence tossed her the coin purse. “Oh no,” she muttered. “Now I’m really going to have to win that tournament. You guys emptied out my purse.”

“But we got you some ice cream,” Roxas said to the two, seeming to forget that he was avoiding Xander. He couldn’t act suspicious around the others, but then again, he felt as if he wasn’t acting. He felt like he and Xander were really great friends, like she and Axel so wholeheartedly claimed they were.

Xander took hers gratefully and smiled at Roxas. “Like old times, huh?”

Seeing Xander leave I felt realived, and I let out a long sigh. This day seemed to go by alot slower after that encounter. Looking around, I jumped down into a deserted alley. Walking out, I put my hood back over my head which seemed to fall off after Xander's embrace.

I sighed again, walking back to the tournament square. Seems Xander and Roxas are the only nobodies in Twilight... but Xander mentioned Axel. Where could he be? I made sure to be on alert. Although, I kept my focus on things happening around me as well.

Maybe it was her mind playing tricks on the young girl, but Aravis turned at Cloud’s mention. Across the stage area she saw the cloaked form of dark, shady character. She narrowed her eyes and peered into the distance, concentrating harder on identifying him. Cloud must have been suspicious at having mentioned him so unnecessarily. “Who do you think he is?” she asked her male companion.

Cloud grunted and said seriously, “I’ve never seen him before. He just seems kind of…dangerous…like he doesn’t belong here.”

A puzzled expression crossed Aravis’ face. “I want to get a closer look,” she said, and bounded off in the man’s direction before Cloud had the instinctive sentiment to put a stop to it. He called after her, however, and rather angrily. Aravis slowed once she approached him and tried to creep closer without his noticing. His back was to her, after all. Before she knew it, she was nearly ten feet away from him, almost inconspicuously so. To him, she was sure he would know that she was following him, so she made work of appearing to be running from something.

Before she could slow herself down, she bumped into the man. The impact sent her flying into the wall bordering the alley in which he stood. She cried out and grasped the bricks, trying not to fall onto the floor. “I’m sorry!’ she exclaimed, and caught a glimpse of his face. She was almost certain that she had never met him…but he was so familiar. This was a feeling Aravis had often experienced in the past few years. Her longing for love betrayed her, for she felt as if her heart belonged to someone else…someone she did not know.

My eyes widened once again, this must be Xander's human. Noticing it wasn't Xander, I helped her regain her compusure(sp?) by giving her a welcoming hand. She took it and I pulled her up.

"It must have been destiny to meet, I'm Jason, Jace for short. And you are?" My eyes wandered to the blond man approaching us, he seemed to be a soldier... or maybe just someone who is extremely fit. I doubt that though.

His hand was firm, Aravis noticed, as he pulled her up—definitely the sign of a man with a lot of character. “I’m Aravis Dalmasca,” she said to him, wondering what he meant by saying it had been “destiny.” She suddenly felt a presence of potency by her side, wary and protective of his friend. Dropping Jason’s hand hastily, she said, “And this is Cloud Strife. He’s a good friend of mine.”

Cloud took a moment to examine the male, not perceiving the depth that Aravis seemed to. He merely nodded at him—a slight, yet authoritative, tilt of the head. The former-SOLDIER felt over-protective standing beside Aravis, who was a whole head shorter than Cloud. She was always endangering herself.

“We’re not from here,” she said truthfully. “But then again, we’re here often enough to know that you mustn’t be, either. Where are you from?”

"I'm afraid if I told you, your lives will be entangled in my destiny." I said, before bowing, "Pleasure to have met you Aravis, and Cloud." I walked past them, turning the first corner and disappearing into the darkness.

I can't get her involved in these matters, and it'd be probably better if Xander and Aravis never met. To put a stop to Xemnas I need to find him... the KeyBlade Master...

Aravis let out a confused sound as Jason left them, brushing past them with no more than claiming he could not say, or they would ensnare themselves in his providence. “That was…strange…” Aravis whispered.

Grasping her forearm and dragging her from the alley, Cloud muttered, “I told you not to follow him. Why do you continue to disobey me? Is it fun for you, or something?”

Giggling, Aravis said, “Of course not, Cloud. I just can’t resist. You know how curious I am; it’ll be the death of me.” Pulling her arm gently from the former SOLDIER, she sighed and said, “Though I feel as if I know him…like I once used to be his friend.”

“That’s ridiculous. You’re imagining it.”

Frowning, Aravis squinted her eyes, before lowering her gaze. “Yeah,” she agreed. “I think you’re right…but I also think our destinies are entangled with his already.”

Xander

After finishing her ice cream, Xander smiled at the group and bid them farewell. “I’m really glad that I got to meet all of you,” she said to them, and winked at Hayner before turning to Roxas. Caressing his hand gently, she said, “I’ll see you later. Maybe Axel will show up, too.”

Turning her back on them all, she flowed gracefully from the group of children, rounding a corner to a place where they could no longer see her. She grunted angrily and kicked at stones. “Where are you, Axel?!” she shouted, growling to herself. She also couldn’t help but think that perhaps he was in trouble. It wasn’t like him to be so late, if not late at all.

Where did Jace go? she wondered, peering into every alley she passed. “I’m lonely…I want someone to play with.” Wishing that she could call for him out loud, she regretted that she could not. As much as she missed him, she couldn’t force herself to endanger him. He didn’t want back into the Organization, but she wondered why he ran from her, recalling his claim that she could not unnerve him. Why would he think that I could bring him back? I could help him fight Xemnas...

I walked out of my dark portal, to find myself infront of a train station. Been three years, and I've never seen this place. Something always told me to stay away, but now I just didn't care...

(All I did was decide to stick Jason somewhere cause I cant think of anything -_-)

________________________________________________________________

Continuing to trudge through the dark alleys of Twilight Town, Xander couldn’t prevent her thoughts from exploring the enigma that was Jason. He’s so secretive, she thought to herself. How can I understand him if he won’t stick around to talk to me?

Before her, the wide expanse of an abandoned lane stretched itself at her feet. There was a moment of thought between the hum of contemplation and the scream of surprise when Axel immediately appeared before her, rising from the dark portal in the stones beneath her feet. His eyes were teasing and his red hair was blowing lightly in the wind. “AXEL!” Xander shrieked, outstretching an arm to slap him. His laughter stopped her. “What?” she asked him, dropping her hand. “What’s so funny? You stood me up, you superficial stiff!”

Hands raised in defense, he said, “Relax, Xander! There’s no need to get irritated or sling around names!” He stepped towards her until his shoulder brushed hers, and he turned his head, surveying the open area. “What are you doing all the way out here…and what are you wearing?”

Crossing her arms and harrumphing, Xander scoffed at the red-haired male. “I was looking for you, what else? And…it’s a sundress, you idiot! You were supposed to meet me three hours ago. What happened to you, Axel?”

Frowning, Axel bowed his head slightly and let out his breath. “I’m sorry; I should’ve told you that I would get held up. Forget the reason, but I’m here now, so what did you find out?”

Xander’s smile returned. She forgave Axel too easily. “Well, Roxas was with a bunch of his human friends, so I couldn’t say much to him. They spent all of my munny though, so we’ll have to win that Struggle tournament and get all of it back. Also, you’ll never believe that I ran into Jason today!”

Axel didn’t seem to process what Xander had said to him. He nodded briefly and beckoned for her to follow before he let out a perplexed sound and said, “What?—as in Organization Jason?”

Nodding, Xander jogged lightly to catch up with him. He was surprised, but he didn’t stop or slow down. “We should go find him then, shouldn’t we? I’ve been searching for him for the past three hours, as well as you.”

“Sure,” Axel agreed. “We’ll find him.”

It wasn’t long before Axel honed in on Jason. They had walked for about five minutes when Axel smirked and told Xander to meet him at the train station. “Train station?” she asked, puzzled. “Twilight Town has a train station?”

Despite the confusion, Xander arrived five minutes later to find Axel standing aloofly with his arms crossed, nose slightly upturned; across from him stood Jason. “Well, well,” Axel said to him. “I didn’t think I would be seeing you again anytime soon. It seems our ‘destinies’ willed it so.”

Xander could tell from the last comment that Axel was mocking the brunette former-Organization member. “Don’t fight him, Axel,” she begged, but she knew they both disregarded her. After all, the red-haired Nobody had always been jealous of Jason. He always seemed to have Xander’s attention, while it had been made clear that either Xander was a very friendly person or she felt something for Axel. “He didn’t do anything.”

Eyes narrowed, Axel drew upon his chakram and slid into a fighting stance. “Axel, please!” Xander continued, running up to meet him. She touched a hand to his right forearm, drawing it back and grasping it so he could not throw with it. “Stop being so jealous and pigheaded! He didn’t do anything!”

“He left us!” Axel argued, shaking his arm free. By doing so, he had thrown Xander back, and she fell to the cobbles. She cried out and her eyes widened at the realization of what he had just done. She straightened herself and dusted off her dress, still on the floor. “X-Xander…” he murmured apologetically, and moved to help her up, but she stared up at him, a fire burning intensely in her eyes.

“I know he left!” she yelled back, and turned to face Jason who had, too, drawn his weapon. “And I have to say to the both of you—where did you learn your manners?! How dare you both assault a woman so rudely! FINE! Duke it out! I don’t care. It’d just be two less men in the universe, you chauvinistic, pigheaded jerks.

“And you, Jason! Why the hell would I even want to bring you back to the Organization anyway? Xemnas is a jackass—I get it! We all think so, but you had to run away?! I want some explanation, and I want it NOW!”

“No, you don’t,” Axel said.

“No, I don’t!” Xander agreed. “I want it by tomorrow. But in the meantime…” she marched up to Jason. “Take this!” Her hand flew to slap him as she growled temperamentally.

I tilted my head back and caught her arm, pulling her close, my lips nearly touching her ear.

"Sorry..." I whispered. It was I can find myself to say, before I gently threw her to the side so she was out of the way.

"It seems are destinies did make this encounter a reality... and if a battle looms in our very close future, than a battle shall commence..." I said, putting my gaint sword in my own fighting stance. My right leg in front of my left, while my left arm stayed at my side. My right arm, now grasping my blade, was kept straight. The tip of the blade in Axel's direction."

"You will be my first worthy adversary after three long years..." but to my surprise, I found Axel not wanting to fight anymore. His eyes burning with the will of battle was replaced... with a look of sadness , and I could see what he was asking, "Why did you leave...? Why didn't you say anything...?"

Realizing this, realizing how they must of felt and the lies that Xemnas must of said for my 'betrayel'... I broke down. Dropping my giant sword and hearing it clank on the stone floor. I dropped to my knees and tears filled my eyes... and all I could mutter out was, "I'm sorry..."

(LOL Drama Queen! She a bit moody isnt she? XD)

The distinctive sound of metal to stone filled Xander’s ears. She was still flushed from the previous closeness of hers and Jason’s bodies and couldn’t concentrate clearly, though she knew part of her was angry that he had tossed her aside as if she were not human but something undesirable. On the floor again, she was ultimately embarrassed. The next thing she saw was Jason on his knees, crying it looked like, and murmuring apologies to them—or maybe just Axel.

Axel’s mood had changed from enraged and jealous to tormented and disappointed in the man Jason had become. They were deceived by Xemnas’ lies—the lies Xander had cried over that Axel forced her to ignore. Looking at the brown-haired human before her, she remembered distinctly a time of desperation—the day she realized that Jason wasn’t coming back.

”Jace?” she had called, pushing the door open slightly. He had been absent for three days already, and she told herself that if he was not present, he was gone for good. She was welcomed by an empty room—it looked as if a life had never been lived inside of its depressing confines.

That evening, she had broken down at Xemnas’ feet—the man she had considered a father to her. “There, there,” he cooed to her, touching a consoling hand to her trembling shoulders. “Jason was a bad, bad boy. He wasn’t even a Nobody—Jason didn’t have a place here, anyway. He’s betrayed you, and Axel, as well; he’s betrayed his friends.”

In her room an hour later, she sat, inconsolable, on her bed, back to the wall with her knees hugged to her chest. Axel sat on the edge of the bed, staring out the window. He said to her, trying to make her feel better, “Xemnas was lying, so don’t believe him. You know that Jason would never betray you.”

“He betrayed the both of us!” she sobbed, her head buried in her arms.

Axel would continue to dissuade her until she was forced to believe him. “You’re right,” she murmured. She had always shown indifference towards Jason, almost as much as she had friendship. She assumed that there was probably no reason why he would miss her at all—but she had always wanted to speak to him more. She had wanted to show him that she could care like any other human being—like the one that he was. She had only been torn between the teachings of Xemnas and her own emotions. After seeing a human like Jace, she had hope that she could be like that, too.

Tears began to prickle in her eyes as well. They ran down her cheeks, slowly at first, then quickly. She had not cried since he left them three years ago, and she found it funny that only he could bring her to tears. “I-I’m not liking this gay-vibe going on here,” she tried to joke, sniffling. “Both of you stop looking at each other like that.”

Axel dropped the chakram and sighed, watching as the Nobody he might have loved crawled towards a friend he figured he had lost. Xander stopped a foot from Jason, not daring to embrace him for fear he would attempt the same thing he had tried earlier that day. “Why did you do it, Jace?” she asked, eyes meeting Axel’s a short distance away. They were filled with compassion, and the familiar tinge of jealousy. "Why did you leave?"

After several seconds, I calmed myself and sat down before answering. "I left because Xemnas ... had plans for my life ..." I took a deep breathe before continuing. "After I mastered all of my transformation, he planned to turn me into a heartless and bring life to a new breed of Nobodies... A breed who could control the keyblade."

"I could't say good-bye because I feared our destinies would be intertwined(sp?)... so I left without a word..." I dropped my gaze towards the floor where I sat...

A skeptical snort escaped Xander. “God, Jason, you’re a fool. Leaving without a word for fear of intertwining our destinies? Maybe I was wrong and Xemnas was right; humans are just too compassionate. Don’t you know that our destinies are already intertwined? They have been ever since Xemnas brought you to us at the mere age of three. You want to tell me that was destiny, too?”

Xander stood abruptly, angry with herself for crying like an infant. She brushed away the salt water and walked over to Axel. “Stop it with the sarcasm,” he warned her. “Look at him. He’s depressed. If Xemnas wants to manipulate him and he has the chance to escape it, let him. Not unlike myself, you’re damned by him—he’s our master. Got it memorized?”

Eyes narrowed, Xander dared press herself closer to Axel, her face merely three inches from him. He was taller than her, so she stood on her toes as Axel leaned back, a look of surprise on his face. “Listen,” she said harshly. “I’m not damned by anyone. I’m in charge of my own life and I’ll live it—I don’t need a soul for that. Xemnas is like a father to me—no matter how antagonistic—and until he’s done something for me to think otherwise, I’m not complaining.”

Dropping back onto her heels, she jerked her head at Jason. “It was nice seeing you again,” she said, trying not to show sympathy. She knew who she really was; not a compassionate woman, but a heartless Nobody, for Xemnas willed it so. She also knew that one day all of Xemnas’ teachings would catch up with her. Everything she knew would be conflicted by her desire to be human.

“You should find a place to hide before Xemnas finds out that you’re here. There are dusks lurking all over this hellhole and not one of them will hesitate to make it known.”

"Not before I find him... Roxas's human..." I said to them, standing up.

"I spent three years here, and about a year ago... I suspected of him being here... somewhere in a dorment state..." I told them. I bent down to pick up my blade, and wrapped it in the bandages with a swipe. "He's here, and he's the one that will defeat Xemnas..." pulling my hood back over my head.

"If you think our destinies have already intertwinded themselves... than its either my duty to defeat the Organization... or its your duty to help me bring down Xemnas..." with that said, I disappeared back into the darkness.

Gasping, Xander tensed her muscles and ran in Jason’s direction. “Oh no, you don’t!” she called after him, running into the darkness. Axel made a sound of disapproval but followed Xander. She surfaced into the light and whipped her head this way and that. She couldn’t find what she was looking for. “Damn it, Jace, you coward!” she cursed, and swept her right arm violently, knocking down a garden post. “DAMN IT!” she roared. “Stop running away! You COWARD!”

Hands tensed on her shoulders and she stopped screaming just long enough to twist in Axel’s grip. “Xander, you need to calm down. You’re not usually like this…”

“Don’t you see it?” she asked Axel. “All Jason’s ever done is run! It’s getting pretty old and I’m tired of chasing after him—but he’s supposed to be our brother and I’m compelled to keep him with us!”

Shaking his head, Axel said, “It’s not your responsibility.”

There was no time for Axel to stop Xander as she broke form his grasp and began to sink into the dark portal she had spontaneously create din the floor beneath her. “He wants to kill Xemnas,” she muttered. “I can’t let him do that, either.”

“What was all of that about you fighting Xemnas one day?”

Lowering her head, Xander scowled, crossing her arms and harrumphing. “Look, you know I could never beat Xemnas. No one can—and I’m not even going to rule in Roxas’ human. How the hell would we find him anyway? If Jason wants to eliminate Xemnas, you know that at least ten of us are going to stand in his way…it doesn’t help any that you killed Zexion.”

Axel was taken aback by the last comment. “I did not kill Zexion.”

“But you suggested it! It’s your fault—you were jealous and you let that cloud your judgment. If you’re going to let your emotions control you like that, then leave me out of it. I’m going to find Xemnas.”

“Fine then,” Axel retorted. “I’m going to find Jason.”

“GOOD LUCK!”

With that, Xander was swallowed into the darkness, leaving Axel alone to brood in the alley. This conflict was unnerving. He couldn’t stand Xander when she was this irritable, but he couldn’t hate her—he couldn’t leave her. Things were much brighter when she was around, because, he guessed, she was just a fun person. But Jason was back in both of their lives, and his destiny was indeed intertwined with their own. It was a curse and a blessing all in one, and Axel couldn’t believe that Xander was going to protect Xemnas.
