![]() I've been watching Avatar lately and I noticed something about their stories: the canon main-character pairing has quite a few stories, but the pairing of one of the main protagonists with one of the main villains has almost twice as many stories. That got me thinking: if Kim devolved (or evolved, if you're in the mood) into a bit of ship-to-ship combat, how even would the sides be? So I had a little bit of time on my hands this morning and I did some calculating... 3168 Romance stories listed as of Sept. 14 Stories involving:
- Kim paired with:
- Shego paired with:
- Ron paired with:
- Drakken paired with:

![]() Yeah. But what was he proving? I thought he was just throwing the information out there for us to interpret as we will. 9/15/2012 #3 |
![]() Few suprises here. I never imagined Shego would be paired more often with Drakken than with Ron. Or Ron more often with Shego than Bonnie. I thought Bonnie was Rons fallback in case of Kigo. Baby Hana has more ships than I would have guessed. I could probably say the same about the naked mole rat. Extras like Monique, Tara and Yori need to pick up their game. Lagging behind. 9/15/2012 #4 |
![]() With Hana and Rufus, they can essentially be used as original characters so it's not so surprising to me. Ron/Yori over Ron/Bonnie didn't surprise me either. Kim and Shego have to go through some pretty big changes in most Kigo universes for that relationship to work, so it's a lot easier to set Ron up with a girl that already likes him rather than make another character (Bonnie) go through a big personality change. 9/16/2012 #5 |
