Topic: Conversations With Dead People

This topic is reserved for those who are dead or undead.

The following people are not welcome:

- Living people

- Harry Potter haters

- Harry/Hermione lovers (they're not welcome anywhere)

- Michael Gambon

- Those who prefer Spike to Angel

- Parker Abrams (son of a bitch)

THE SEVEN LAWS OF THE MAGIC BOX:

1) Thou shalt not use explicitly explicit profanities when it is not necessary. Silence thyself.

2) Thou shalt not insult the spelling of others. I put this rule into effect after witnessing some truly horrific reactions to typing errors. Some of those reactions were my own.

3) Refrain from spamming.

4) Do not insult Albus Dumbledore in front of me.

5) If they want an apocalypse, then we'll give them one.

6) Violas are better than violins.

7) Seven is the most magically powerful number.

Yes I am here. Thankyou, thankyou! Yes Google your seven commandments were quite funny. I must admit that I didn't know that Earle was...Earle! But when you said I know that you often wear odd socks. it got me thinking. Not much because when I read on, all was revealed. At first I wasn't sure if I was welcome here because of one of the rules Google set in place...yes you know what I mean...the rule about prefering Spike to Angel...but you all know that I don't.

Angel is cool and whatever else you think about him, but Spike has so much more character. (I'll die for that one!) You all know what I mean. Please don't shun me!!!!!!!

Buffy and Angel forever!!!!! ;)

Maps
YEAH! MAPS IS IN THE MAGIC BOX!THE SUPPLYERS IN SUNNYDALE! THE LOVER OF ALL THINGS BUFFY/ANGEL (and Harry Potter, but this really isn't the place) IS IN L.A! THE- well you get the idea... Dear me, its seemed like an age since I’ve swam these murky fanfiction waters, but yet here i am, like i didn't even leave...how sad, and i don't mean in a teary way.

First of all i'd like to say, in complete contradiction to what i said above Harry Potter, HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENI, WAS SOOOOOO BRILLIANTLY AWESOME AND WONDERFUL, IT WAS SO DARK AND INTENSE AND I CRIED ALOT, AND DANIEL RADCLIFFE WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD IN IT AND SOOOO ATTRACTIVELY GORGEOUS (there is no way you guys can say he isn't now) AND I JUST LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! MY HEART JUST ACHED THROUGHOUT IT BECAUSE IT WAS SO DARK AND HARRY WAS IN PAIN. AND BECAUSE DAVID YATES IS ALSO DIRECTING HALF BLOOD PRINCE, YOU COULD SEE HOW HE SET UP DIFFEREENT STORIES, LIKE THERE WAS MORE VIBES BETWEEN RON AND HERMIONE AND ALSO HARRY AND GINNY ETC. OMG OMG OMG! TOTALLY EMOTIONALLY POWERFUL AWESOME EMOTIONAL FLASHBACKS TO THE OTHER FILMS, JUST SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD I CRIED AND CRIED IN ALL DIFFERENT PLACES, THE ONLY WAY I CAN EXPRESS MY EMOTIONS IS THIS JHS;GOHSA;OEIGH;AIGHDSKVNAJSHVVHJKVBDVHJ VGDFIUGHVD UGHDFIUG GI UFGH UIUHSIUF F GFEIU H EUGF IAA GUFGWIUUWGFIWUGF G WGFUW UGFUI FJGJKDGVKD DFBVKJDFGVJKDGVJAKAJVGKJSGVVWOUGVWRFGWRIUFGWOIFGW... GOLD CLASS WAS ALSO BRILLIANT AND SO COMFY...AHHHHH I COULD JUST KEEP ON TALKING FOREVER...

Any way, Weed, i do shun you, i had no idea (well maybe just a little) of how you felt towards Angel and Spike, i thought after you watched Angel you saw the Brilliance and substance behind that burning hunk of tall dark and gorgeous, but i suppose in depends exactly what angle you are coming from when you say "character", do you mean Humour or History etc. But still i did not raise you to think this way, but i suppose as long as you do Acknowledge the wonderful textual character that is Angel its better then thinking he is an uninteresting and cardboard etc. like SOME IDIOTIC PEOPLE...

Cepiche

Note: For all randoms who find themselves stumbling into the Magic Box lost and alone, with no association with Admin or regulars, i would like to point out that i used the term Supplier in the above post, THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DRUGS, I SWEAR, OR ANYTHING ELSE ILLEGAL, well at least not really, is handed out excessive amounts of burnt discs illegal? I would also like to point out that Gillyweed is not my biological or adopted child or younger sibling, when i use the term 'raise you' it is merely referring to the educating and enriching of a previously Buffyless life, imagine that...sob...hiccup...

Ok i'm really done now...

BUFFY AND ANGEL FOREVER, and ever and ever

"Still my girl?"

"Always"...

HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX WAS JUST PURE MAGIC!

Oh yeah, I also think that it is important to say as we are in a Buffy forum, that today Google and I (and the schwester and Sarah) went to Borders in Brisbane, obviously, and we bought the, wait for it, the final issue of the Buffy Angel Magazine, WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! isn't that just devastating and yet very mementos.

So

Cepiche...again, finally...

You know what's idiotic? The option when you log in to remain logged in for three days. Do you know anyone who would wish to remain logged in for three days?

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was indescribably fantastic, but I do not wish to discuss it, because some have yet to see it. But I love it.

And, I (and Maps and Sarah) scored free Harry Potter posters by intimidating a computer guy at EB Games! It was AWESOME!

Okay, on to the subject of Buffy. Someone was wondering what to discuss on this forum, so I am going to make it that outfits on Buffy the Vampire Slayer can here be ridiculed and/or praised. I might edit the topic so it says that. This is a loose topic, though ... I doubt fashion will continue being discussed after about the first page of posts.

And as Maps was saying, Buffy Magazine has been shut down! I today purchased the final issue ever! It was so sad. However, they really went all out, and the front page has a gorgeous picture of Buffy and Angel in the episode "Angel".

Lastly, I must say to Weed, Earle and Maps, I am very glad to see that you are all using this forum. I checked my inbox and it was empty, which depresses me, so it was nice to see that the forum had some activity.

You are a sad, sad person. Then again, who isn't.

I have to ask you, though: Do you fulfil the requirements of this forum? By that, I mean, are you a dead (or undead) Buffy/Angel shipping fan who loves Harry Potter (and wants Ron and Hermione to get together), hopes Michael Gambon gets sacked and wishes to shove a pointy wooden stick through Parker Abrams' heart after he suffers eternal torment at the hands of both Buffy and Angel which results in his face resembling a mass of gurgling flesh and blood?

First of all: Maps, PIRACY. ITS A CRIME.

Secondly: I did choose the stay logged in for three days option. Once. By accident.

Thirdly: I finished watching disk four season two. Eurgh. And I am not going to watch any more until, after I have done that english thing that I have to do and my history draft and studdied maths. AND JUMPED OUT OF MY CHAIR LIKE A RETARD TO ANSWER A SCIENCE QUESTION.

Have a good weekend!

When did you jump out of your chair like a retard? Also, well done with the watchage of Season Two disk four. I'm sure that you ... enjoyed that.

Yesterday, Weed and I watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the second time! And guess what - now we can bold-ify and underline and italicise words! Like so:

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Awesome. Today my episode of the day is "Storyteller", and we all know what that means ...

First of all I would like to say that yes HARRY POTTER WAS AWSOME! I thought that the second time wouldn't be as good and I wouldn't feel the emotion that I felt in my first viewing, but I did!

Yes anyway. I am sorry Maps, but I started to watch Flyboys and turned it off half way through because it was so boring. I couldn't stand it. Also I couldn't understand what the french people were saying half the time and all up it just wasn't my type of movie. Sorry.

I am so bored. I have been at home all day by myself except for when mum brought me food but then she went and now I am all alone. I am reading Half Blood Prince at the moment so that is keeping me company.

But yeah. Nothing really enticing to say about Buffy or Angel. So yeah I will go now.

Well, I didn't jump out of my chair, but I threw my hand up in the air and said the word molecule as though someone had just handed me a copy of HP&DH.

Well this has been fun, I tried the italics thing. Masterful. Must be gone, I now have to leave this forum to make 17 posts on a much more boring and for the most part inactive, but more importantly non-buffy related forum!

Have a happy weekend!

Duff

P.S. when we were going on a picnic (at Imbil of all places) today I saw this huge sign that said FUBT and underneath in tiny letters 'farmers united beyond traveston' the real message it was trying to convey however will become obvious if you sound out the letters.

FUBT, that's hilarious. Though I'm ashamed to say, it took me a good two minutes to understand the "BT" part of it. Then I was like, "Ohhhhhhh ... BT ... ha ha! I get it!"

My day has been piss boring as well. Except for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I figured out that if I read three chapters for the next five days, I will be finished before HP7.

By the way, your picture does work Hinky. But you should choose a larger picture, because it doesn't fill up the whole gap. But it's a cool picture anyway.

P.S. I enjoy Acid Pops.

It says on Mugglenet that according to some source, this is the possible opening to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Chapter One. The Dark Lord Ascending. The two men appeared out of nowhere, a few yards apart in the narrow, moonlit lane. For a second they stood quite still, wands pointing at each other's chests: then, recognising each other, they stowed their wands beneath their cloaks and set off, side by side, in the same direction.

"News?", asked the taller of the two.

"The best," replied Snape.

Innnteresting. I bet it's not real. I guess we'll see.

Yes, Google I saw that as well, and i must say it is quite cool, and pretty believable 1. Because HP always starts with really long sentences, and 2. Its quite good vibey, in the sence that i want SNAPE TO DIE!!! isn't it, my only doubt is that the book is so heavely guarded, how could even this much be released. The POint is WE WILL BE ABLE TO READ IT IN 6 EFFING DAYS, I CAN'T BELIEVE, I WANT TO READ IT NOW!!!!!

Hey guess what, when i was working on saturday night, i kept checking on cinema 1 so i could watch snippets of Harry Potter, and every time i went up to the projection room to get stock, i would linger and watch the scene that was playing, and i conveniently went up and checked the cinema exactley when Harry was being possessed, it was awesome as always, except it probably wasn't very wise becasue i had to finish work, with a terrible heart ache.

Hey i have a theory: that its a demon- just kidding... my theory concerns the possible beginning of HP7, assuming that it is the beginning, obviously one automatically thinks, Snape is talking to Voldemort about the death of Dumbledore, OR it could be Snape talking about the death of Dumbledore to Aberforth, obviously in that second scenario Snape isn't evil, well at least not in the Black and White sense of the word. I mean the only thing we know about the mysterious figure is that he is tall, which Aberforth is, but then again so is Voldemort, any way think about it...

Anyway I'm out, I've got things to do, Slayers to kill...sorry...

Hey weed i laughed alot when you commented about flyboys, and i agree with that french thing...

Anyways

Hey just in case you guys don't know, on mugglenet they edited the post about the possible first paragraph of Harry Potter, and they said why they think it is fake, its quite interesting and believable, so have a read if you want.

'Chapter One.

"The best," replied Snape.'

Emily's edit: I emailed Andrew saying I didn't think the excerpt was real. Here's why: There is a mixture of British/English grammar - the British spelling of "recognise" and the American use of "a few yards." There are also odd punctuation errors - a colon after "chest" and then ?", when only a question mark before the quotation mark would be used. Would Jo really make these errors? We'll find out soon.

"Yes, well, passing over Fred's left buttock..."

"I beg your pardon?"

This quote is no longer funny.

Now that my one-Buffy-episode-per-day marathon is over, I am thinking of doing another Buffy marathon. What should it be? A reverse-marathon, or a one season per month marathon (that would be difficult), or a one-Angel-episode-per-day marathon? Maybe I should get a list of all the dates that BtVS episodes were first aired on, and watch those episodes on that day. It would be weird though, because I'd be switching seasons all the time, and it would take about a year to complete. And I'd be watching all the season finales at once. Still, sounds pretty interesting.

Any other marathon ideas?
