Kayla gave a small smile then took a deep drag, she exhaled slowly, enjoying the taste. "I needed that" she said happily as she gave it back

Johnny walked up onto the roof, seeing the girls with the bong, he walked over to them, "Can I have a hit?" He asked them.

Kai picked up Nikki and headed for the dorms.

Nikki gasped,and curled up in Kai's arms.

"Yeah, sure thing," she said to the girl, receiving a pipe. She jumped when the guy approached her. She sized him up, arching her eyebrows a bit. Not bad-looking. "Knock yourself out, dude," she said, handing him the pipe after taking a long drag herself. She could already feel fog enveloping her mind.

Johnny took the pipe uttering a quick 'Thanks,' and held it to his lips, holding his own lighter in front of it. He took a long drag before passing it back to Cecelia. He then sat down cross legged. "I still prefer to smoke a joint though," he said pulling one out of his pocket.

Kayla closed her eyes and felt her mind swirl...

(dude! What's with all the druggies? They just came out of nowhere! :D)

Cecilia's eyes lit up like a pinball machine. "Dude. I'll totally love you forever if you share that shit," she said, looking down at her pipe and scowling when she saw that the weed had expired. "Hey, why don't we all go back to my place? I got a car and I'm not far away. That way we won't get busted."

"Nah this school don't give a **, I smoke joints in class" JOhnny said sitting down. He lit the joint and took a puff before passing it to Cecilia.

Cecilia cast a slightly disapproving look. "Alright, let me rephrase that," she said. "Thanks," she added, taking a drag off the joint and passing it back. "Wanna get the fuck out of here and go to the forest? It's way more awesome than this place."

Johnny took another drag, the fog setting in on his mind, "Dude, the forest is gonna be crawling with ** werewolves," passing the joint to Kayla.

Cecilia gave a disapproving hiss. "Fuck," she muttered, clasping her hands down on her thighs so the wind wouldn't lift her skirt. "Alright. Guess we'll chill here. I . . . really don't feel like moving right now anyway." She giggled. "Sooo tired . . ."

Jaylyn was laying on the roof, looking up at the clear blue sky. Alice's text had left him confused, but he shrugged it off. He strummed the strings of his guitar, which rested on his stomach, lightly to get a melodic sound.

Then, he wanted to sing. And sing he would.

He pushed himself up, holding the cherished instrument close as he began to play. His fingers brushing against the strings with quick flicks of the wrist, creating a Spanish-based beat.

Alice and Leo snuck up onto the roof, making sure they wouldn't be heard. They listened for a moment as Jaylyn played and then Alice started clapping and cheering at him.

"Go Jay!" She called, laughing.

Leo grinned as Jaylyn yelped with surprise, turning to look at them with wide and startled eyes, "Where'd you guys come from?!" He said, releasing the breath he forgot he was holding for a second.

"From over there," Alice pointed to the spot she had been a few moments ago and giggled. "Where have you been? I haven't heard from you in, like, forever. Usually you're texting me every two seconds."

She plopped down on the ground next to him as she rattled on in her usual faster-than-the-speed-of-sound way.

"Heh, well you see, funny story..." Jaylyn began with a nervous laugh once Alice stopped talking. How could he word exactly what had happened? He mentally pulled at his hair, banging his head against an invisible brick wall in frustration. "Um, well, it all started at the party wh-"

He was cut off by his brother-turned-guardian's voice calling his name in annoyance, "Jaylyn! You put a cat in my room?! I adopted you... There was no mention of pets in our agreement.And how can you take care of a pet if you're always so busy?" Xavier asked as he walked towards the trio, seemingly stressed already from his new role.

Jaylyn squinted an eye shut at the loudness, "Well... That's what happened..."

Alice squinted, looking back and forth between the two brothers. Adopted? She stared at the frazzled Xavier for a long moment. Why did he think Jaylyn needed taking care of? Jaylyn would--had--do fine on his very own, that she was positive of.

"Whoa." She said. Just that. "Whoooa."

"So, um, my foster parents-really the social workers- found me roughly, the same day as the party. And on my way back to the dorms they kinda sorta got a hold of me, took my cell away and since I'm underage still, I'm not allowed to be in-charge of myself. So, it was either Seiryu kill a few people... Which is a scary thought, hope my foster parents would take me backm which I'm glad they didn't." He paused, "or turn 18. Lucy for me, I've got a legally age brother around now that was able to adopt me."

He paused, blinking once he finished, "This probably is making absolutely no sense to you at all... But, too add, this all started because I ran away. Which is why I was being looked for, and why I got caught."

"Holy, Jay," Alice murmured, eyes wide "My God that's a lot of...trouble you were in. I'm so so glad Xavier was able to rescue you. I don't know how I could have survived if my soul-mate got taken away from me." She smiled at him. "I'm so glad you're ok."

Jaylyn blushed with embarrassment, hugging Alice, "Aw, I'd never leave you. And it wasn't like I got into that trouble intentionally, if I didn't have to run away in the first place, I would've been perfectly fine."

Alice squeezed him back "Well now your home free, with a 'legal guardian' and all. Would this be a bad time to break my news?" She asked.

"Absolutely not! I always want to hear wha you have to say." Jaylyn said, then hesitated, "you're not leaving me... Are you?"

"No, no, nothing like that." Alice insisted, shaking her head furiously. "I'm getting a sister," She said, voice dripping with disgust "My dad was all surprise! I'm engaged to some chick you've never met, now you're going to get a step-sister and brother. AND you have to share an apartment with the little brat." She sighed. "Oh, jay, this week sure sucks."

"Awww, my poor Alice!" Jay said, hugging her tightly, "what if... What if we got you to live with like.... One of us or something?! Could that work??" He asked, eyes lighting up. "Or we purposely keep you out all the time, and say you fell asleep in one of our rooms?"

"Hmm," Alice mused "I never thought about that." She turned her head towards Xavier, grinning hugely "Hey, Xavier, how would you like to have another roommate? Or, better yet, adopt another child?"

Jaylyn's eyes went wide with excitement, "Yeah! Let's adopt her, Xavy, please?!" he pleaded, clinging to his brother's leg, "pleasepleaseplease."

Xavier stared dumbfounded at the two for a second, "Oh, all right. We'll see what we can do. How's that?"

"Yay!" Alice yelled, eyes lighting up as she took that as an invitation to crash at their place indefinitely "Thank you!" She cried, giving first Xavier and then Jaylyn a hug.

The two brothers hugged back, Jaylyn laughing with glee at the thought of his best friend and soulmate being his sister... could it get any better?

Leo grinned, "That's one problem solved... But, won't Xavier have to talk to your dad first?" he asked curiously.

Alice groaned. "Oh. Right. Great. Well, I'm not too sure dad will be up for the whole "adoption" thing, but we could give it a shot. If it doesn't work out, could I just room with you for a while?" She asked, employing her best Bambi eyes upon the brothers.

Jaylyn nodded his head vigorously, "Absolutely! Xavy won't mind. I technically share with Seiryu anyways. I just like bugging my brother."

Leo thought for a second, "We could always try convincing your dad Jay and Xavier are your long lost brothers he never knew about, and you'd rather live with them than in a dorm room with a bratty step-sister?"

"Or," Alice said, smiling evilly "We don't tell him anything. Him and the new wife are moving back to Chicago. That's a long ways away...."

Very true... You evil little girl." Leo grinned, tsk'ing Alice playfully, "what are we going to do with you?"

"Love and worship me forever?" Alice suggested, laughing.

"That's do-able." He grinned, laughing himself. "Very much so."

"Should we start moving your stuff, Alice?" Xavier cut in, looking at the three younger people.

Kira sighed as she hugged her knees. "Why am I here? I should be studying but..." Kira let her thought drift off as she looked out to the city below her. She whistled a tune then started to sing it. The sound of her voice was so magical you might of thought to sound came from a siren of the southern sea. No but it came from a quiet, shy werewolf from an unheard of town. She closed her eyes as she sang a little louder, for once in her life she didn't give a care in the world. She was unaware of anything around her.

"Yeah," Alice agreed, nodding. "You guys live in a dorm, right?"

Kira finally stopped her tune and truned her attention to the sound of the feminine voice. She wasn't know to be nosy but she couldn't resist the sound of the voice. It sounded like her sister's voice, the person Kira admired the most. she turned around and crossed her legs to listen intently to the conversation.

"Yeah, we do. Only, Jaylyn's been living in his boyfriend's dorm." Xavier said, nodding, "I'm pretty sure you could stay with either of us.. Or Leo if you really wanted."

Alice grinned at Leo. "I'm not so sure about that..." She said "But, listen, I can try and get Devon to move into my dorm and then you guys can come hang out with me in the new apartment. I'll have it all to myself, then. Then you can stay with me." She laughed "Or you could just come over and eat my food or something."

Leo grinned, about to speak, when Jaylyn jumped up, eyes wide with an idea.

"OH! What if we got Seiryu in there to scare her off?! Like, I've seen him mad, and it's really scary... So, just get him to go all Attack-ish and her, and then the apartment is yours! right? Would it work?! I mean, I could always she if he'd bite her in the not-so-nice kinda way..." He added, shrugging innocent.

Alice laughed, winking at Leo, and then frowned. "That would be awesome...I need to see the apartment and meet her and stuff first, though, cuz maybe I could just get her to move out. If not I'll defiantly sic your boy on her." She was smiling evilly again.

Leo started at the two as if they were insane.

"Should you talk to his boy before you go plotting to use him? I mean geez, that's a bit cruel... At least let him know." He shrugged.

Jaylyn laughed, "Aw, Leo, I'm better than that. I plan on asking him!"

[Those two would be brillant at plotting world domination, I think. XD At least Alice would, for sure.]

Alice grinned "Oh, Leo, don't you know anything?" Alice teased him "Boys are just like...little puppets."

Leo swallowed hard, "That makes me just slightly nervous..." He mumbled.

Jaylyn giggled, "And when you're cute... You can get them to do most anything you want." He added. "Not that I'm that bad with my boyfriend."

Alice laughed. "Calm down, silly, I was just teasing you."

"But, see," She told Jay "Since you're both guys it's kinda balanced. You both boss each other around."

"Psh, I'm far from commanding." Jaylyn said shaking his head, "It's my first real relationship... I'm still learning how it all works."

[yeah, I have a couple of gay friends, but none of them are the Jaylyn to my Alice lol XDDD]

"Aww," Alice said, smiling at him "That's awesomely awesome. Good for you, Jay."
