Phineas paused, nodding, "Okay..."

"We were told to contact you. Again, I'm sorry sir."

"Yeah... thanks..." he said quietly.

She hung up.

Phineas looked over, waking up Sonya.

Sonya opened her eyes, and smiled a little. "Hey, what's up?"

"I just..." He frowned, "Charlotte died...." He said, looking confused.

Sonya's eyes widened. "She... what?"

"She got beaten to death." Phineas said. "Or something..."

Sonya frowned, sitting up. "How sad..."

Phineas frowned, "That's Horrible... she was just getting back to her life..."

"Why do you think she... was beaten?"

"I guess so... She was injured, that's what they guessed..."

Sonya frowned. "Wow."

Phin nodded, "Bone fragments to her heart..." He swallowed, 'Christ..."

"Oh, like in that book." Sonya muttered.

"A Separate Peace. A boy named Phineas broke his leg and..." She shrugged.

"Well Fuck..." Phineas said.

Sonya sighed. "I'm sorry, Phineas."

Phineas rubbed his forehead, "What did she do to deserve that?"

"Maybe we can find out later."

Phineas shook his head, "She wouldn't have done anything."

"People die very often."

"I know that." Phineas sighed exhasperatedly.

She hugged him gently.

Phineas hugged her back, kissing her cheek.

(Nah, If I remember Charlie was the one that was based off of Eric, sort of.)

She closed her eyes. "We should get some sleep."

(That kid from Heart Keepers. He'd changed a lot by the time you were in.)

Phineas nodded, yawning, "I guess so."

She laid down, drifting off.
