![]() Bryce sits at one of the tables, in a grey and white polo shirt and black jeans. He is fiddling with a black watch, analog, and hoping that his date wouldn't see him, then leave. He worried that she might, as he was overweight, and due to genetics, had had bad acne, leaving some scarring. He was tall, almost six foot when standing, with close cropped brown hair, with a widows peak, brown eyes, and reqtangular glasses. He was also on his forth espresso. 12/28/2011 #1 |
![]() Matsuko pushes open the door to the coffee shop and walks inside, dressed in a frilly yellow blouse and a pair of deep blue skinny jeans. She flips her deep brown locks to the side, as they were getting in the way of her brown eyes being able to see. She pushes her blue rectangular glasses up her nose, as they had slid down when she walked in. She was a Japanese girl, standing at about five foot nine, and has almost perfect skin except for a scar she had next to her left eye from skateboarding. Nervous, she scans the room for her date, hoping dearly she wasn't at the wrong place. 12/28/2011 #2 |
![]() Forgot I had a scar over my right eye) Bryce, seeing his date, finished off his coffee, and went up to greet her."Hello," he said, surprised, once again, at his amazing verbal prowess.( And I wear these big boots, brown. 12/28/2011 #3 |
![]() (I wear black flats.) Matsuko jumped in surprise at the sudden greeting. Oh, this must be my date, she thought, a wave of relief washing over her. "Hi," she murmured, not liking to really interact with new people. 12/28/2011 #4 |
![]() Learning from past mistakes, Bryce held his tongue, and held out his hand. "I'm Bryce, and you probably know that..." Okay, so it's a big learning curve. He really needed to stop having sugar when he met people, it made his tongue looser, and often gave him diahrrea of the mouth. Bryce takes a deep breath, and focuses on not saying anything rude. 12/28/2011 #5 |
![]() "Matsuko, but I prefer Matsu," the girl said softly, taking his hand hesitantly and shaking it. She takes a deep breath herself, and tries to think of something else to say. Matsuko feels slightly awkward, as she's sort of awkward when meeting new people. 12/28/2011 #6 |
![]() "Matsu, that's a nice name." Bryce said, and, not able to think of anything else, he asked, "Do you want.. um.. coffe?"(the sad part is I actually talk like that. 12/28/2011 #7 |
![]() (My internet went crazy! :(.) "Sure," she said, smiling at him. "That'd be nice." 12/29/2011 #8 |
![]() You're fine) Bryce smiled and walk her to the counter, glad he had gotten paid the day before. Of course then he thought of all the things their charecters had done, and his ears turned bright red. Why was he cursed with such a spazzy memory. 12/29/2011 #9 |
![]() Matsuko felt a smile tugging at her lips when she noticed his ears turned bright red. Honestly, she didn't mind half the things her characters had done. Lucky her, her parents don't read all of her posts when she isn't watching. 12/29/2011 #10 |
![]() Bryce smiled back, as he was mostly trying to avoid any...teenager thought processes. As they got to the front of the line, Bryce ordered another quadshot espresso, which caused the person to look at him weird. "What do you want Matsu?" 12/29/2011 #11 |
![]() "Um, I'll just have a cappuccino, I guess." Matsuko shrugged and smiled at Bryce. She didn't really care for coffee, but she didn't want to seem rude. 12/29/2011 #12 |
![]() Bryce nodded, unforetuneatly not noticing. He had started drinking coffee after he got off homade milk, so he liked it. He paid for the drinks, and weaved over to a table. "So..." Bryce started, and found he had nothing to finish it with. Wait, "Is there anything you wan't to know about me?" 12/29/2011 #13 |
![]() Matsuko raised an eyebrow at the sudden question. "Don't I already know plenty?" Matsuko smiled, as she was joking around. She didn't necessarily have the greatest sense of humor. 12/29/2011 #14 |
![]() "I'm sure you could find more thing you want to know." Bryce said smiling, putting his non-shaking hands in front of him. 12/29/2011 #15 |
![]() Matsuko shrugged. "How old are you?" 12/29/2011 #16 |
![]() Bryce smiled, "Fifteen, as of July 11. How old are you?" 12/29/2011 #17 |
![]() "Fifteen, as of June 30." Matsuko smirked at how she was older than him by eleven days. Not much of a difference though. He looked older anyways. (now i'm really gonna go ;-; lol) 12/29/2011 #18 |
![]() "Hmm, favourite flavor of ice cream?" Bryce asked, going with plan b. When in doubt, question. 12/29/2011 #19 |
![]() "Cookies and cream, you?" Matsuko smiled as she said this, now craving it badly. She flipped her bangs out of her face and pushed up her glasses. She wished she'd had worn contacts today , she felt like a dork. 12/29/2011 #20 |
![]() "Vanilla." Bryce said, leaving out he had to take a pill with dairy. Their number was called, and being well trained by his parents, he got the coffee, and brought it back. There was a message on his cup that had been hand written. It read, "Five quad shot espressos per day." 12/29/2011 #21 |
![]() Matsuko raised an eyebrow as she saw him get back. "Vanilla is nice," Matsuko said, smiling at him and brushing a lock of stray hair behind her ear. "Do you like anime?" She was curious, as nowadays, a lot of people in America watched it. 12/29/2011 #22 |
![]() "Some of them. It usually depends on whether or not my little sister has control of the remote," Bryce said, drinking his caffeine charged coffee 12/29/2011 #23 |
![]() Matsuko laughed, and smiled at Bryce. She took a sip of her cappuccino, still looking at Bryce. 12/29/2011 #24 |
![]() BRyce smiled back, though he did wonder why she was looking at him so... intently. He shook it off mentally, and continued with plan B, "What is your favourite plant?" 12/29/2011 #25 |
![]() "Sakura trees. They make me feel...at peace sometimes. Back in Japan, I'd always sit under one and draw," Matsuko said, looking down at the ground and sighing. She missed Japan. 12/29/2011 #26 |
![]() "Oh, my mom had a japanese maple tree in our backyard when I was small..er," Bryce said,. as being tall wasn't new to him. 12/29/2011 #27 |
![]() Matsuko laughed and looked into his eyes again, thinking they were somehow entrancing. "I'm not exactly tall, but not short either," she commented, shrugging. 12/29/2011 #28 |
![]() "I know Believe it or not, I'm actually taller than my parents and grandparents." Bryce ssaid, meeting her eyes... and drinking his coffee. 12/29/2011 #29 |
![]() "Wow, I am too," Matsuko admitted, smiling and taking another sip of her coffee. 12/29/2011 #30 |
