Yeah. Marty looks good in those tight jeans of his. He's sooo cute. Makes me wish I lived in Hill Valley. Right next door to Marty.

I agree. Marty IS sweet. I mean, look at that sweet face of his! I love looking at it. Plus I'm a bit taller than Marty, so that makes him extra cute. ^^

Don't mean to double post, but I forgot something.

I think Lorraine might actually like me. Sure, I have a temper and am a bit obsessive, but I would like to be Marty's friend. Yeah, that would be sweet. I would almost kill to give Marty a hug. I dunno why! It's weird!

I like the fact that he's so short. I think Marty was one of these types who tried to be friendly towards everyone. :)

Oh yeah. If only the kids on my bus were more like Marty: Cute, short, and friendly. Half the boys on my bus are as gross as a deer's butt.

Marty was probably popular at school, but he wasn't a snob.

believe it or not i am the same height as marty is and most people think i am younger than i really am! too bad none of the guys i know skateboard or are true gentlemen when with their girls! lorraine is sweet and nice but she doesn't seem to be marty's type! jennifer is cute and self-confident a little like a young lorraine but she seems to have something that lorraine doesn't have! i so wish that marty lived in my neighborhood so we could go skateboard riding together or just driving around hill valley or just be together for the sake of it!

I love featuring Marty with doubles, including:

Marty McFly Jr ~ Marty's future son

Alex P Keaton ~ my favourite crossover character from Family Ties

Calvin McFly ~ Marty's identical twin brother (in Twins Universe)

Martin McFly ~ Seamus' brother whose death Marty has prevented

Marty/Calvin McFly ~ The Marty McFly of most of my universes is more or less the same. However, this one had a drastically different upbringing in a different world (Hell Valley).

Artie Klein ~ Marty's identical twin brother in AU story, where Calvin Klein is their father. This may be controversial to some.

Michael J Fox himself ~ but, of course, all those stories are posted at DeviantART.

In Dreams Can Come True, Amanda Martini enters the BTTF (Almanac) Universe. Because Marty is already taken, of course - Amanda falls hard for his twin, Calvin (who is really Marty from the Hell Valley Timeline). Initially, I was going to have Amanda enter the Twins Universe - but then I figured the Almanac Universe was more appropriate, as both "twins" there are different version of Marty.

I love Marty so much. It would be so cool if he taught me how to car-surf and skateboard. Marty could also play guitar at church and spice things up a bit.

I'd love to be Amanda Martini from Dreams Can Come True, and enter the BTTF Universe. You should maybe write a story where Marty enters "our" universe. :)

That's a good idea! I'd especially be interested in reading how he handles the quandry of whether or not he should go back in time to prevent the bombing. If you want to get real angsty, maybe someone he cares about dies in the bombing - so then he has the added ethical quandry of whether it's right to care only about the life of the person he was close to, while thousands of others died in that tragedy.

If Marty does witness the bombing and someone he cares about dies in there, is he gonna cry? If he does, I'll console him with a wenie roast!!!!!!111oneoneoneone

of course marty would cry because he cried in back to the future part 2 when he found that george mcfly was dead in the alternate 1985 and he cried at the end of the first movie thinking doc was dead
#27 Oct 09th 2007, 3:52am
bttf4444
Right, exactly! :) He also gets a little teary-eyed when he sees that the DeLorean is destroyed.

Kristen Sheley actually wrote a story where Marty saved Jennifer's indirect ancestor, Jane Parker, from that terrible San Francisco eathquake - which leads to the whole nuclear world, and it's possible that nobody was even alive by 1986. So Marty had to make the painful decision of letting Jane meet her tragic death.

That was in the distant past, though. What is it was a much more recent past - or even still in the future? It seems like that would be much less risky to change.

I love it when Marty cries.

Yeah, I really like that aspect of Marty.

Here's a great crying scene towards the end of this clip for the Family Ties episode, My Name Is Alex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOuZl8C-K30

it makes him more human i think when he cries that is!

i love seeing him show his tears because too many guys don't show their senstive side about their feelings!

#31 Oct 10th 2007, 12:00pm
bttf4444
Right, I totally agree! I know he cried when he first came out about having Parkinson's disease, and a few have reacted so negatively to his emotionalness. I like men who are sensitive, though. That's why I love him so much.

Check out this picture: http://h1.ripway.com/bttf4444/mjfcutie.jpg

He just looks so soft and cuddly in that picture, and I love that soft dimple in his cheek. I even use that picture to represent Marty's twin brother, Calvin.

avp60685
that is a good picture of him! it suits him!

michael j fox isn't afraid to show emotions i just wish more guys were like him!

he may act dumb at times but he is very smart and bright!

Phish Tacko
He cried when he was diagnosed with Parkinson's? Awww...

Personally, I don't think that's one of MJF's best pics, but that's just me. I have, like, 6 pics of Marty pasted onto the cover of my assignment notebook. I also have a few pics of Klaus Baudelaire. For those of you who haven't heard of him, he is one of the main characters in A Series Of Unfortunate Events.

I love that episode of Family Ties. Especially where Alex is crying. I guess Mallory made him cry because of her sarcasm. Poor Alex. *hugs Alex*

I'll admit that Marty can act kinda dumb at times, but it's so cute when he does! Just as long as he's not doing anything dangerous, like lighting a fart on fire...

#34 Oct 10th 2007, 4:40pm
bttf4444
Mallory can sometimes be petty mean. Alex himself can sometimes be obnoxious, but he's not really mean. I felt so bad when Uncle Ned belted him in that one episode, when oor Alex was just trying to be helpful and supportive.

So do you think Marty and Alex wouild get along great? Out of curiosity, why don't you really find that to be one of MJF's best pics?

#35 Oct 10th 2007, 5:53pm
avp60685
yes i like that picture of michael j fox

i think that alex and marty would hate each other at first but then they would learn to get along! they would probably scheme something mischievious together like rigg one of the elections where reagan could meet alex and offer him a job and marty would be his right hand man helping alex get his wish!

#36 Oct 11th 2007, 3:56am
bttf4444
Why do you think the two would initially hate each other? Do you think it'd make a diference whether they existed in the same universe - or if they were from two different universes, and they knew each other as fictional characters?
#37 Oct 11th 2007, 4:56am
avp60685
maybe the fact they have so much in common and have similar interests because they would feel that the other one is copying them!

i think they would learn to cope because they would figure that they had been raised differently and it's true because alex's parents are more liberal with him in his raising but marty's parents were somewhat lazy with him and were rarely there when he needed them

#38 Oct 11th 2007, 5:23am
bttf4444
Personally, though, I'm of the school that Marty remembers both pasts - so he not only remembers growing up with unsuccessful parents, but he also remembers growing up with supportive parents.
#39 Oct 11th 2007, 7:25am
avp60685
that is so true! why else would marty fall over like that when he returns from time traveling in the first movie before going to the garage and finding the truck there and biff waxing it

I think Alex and Marty would get along. I might also get along with them both because I have something in common with both of them. They might make great friends.

it would be a rocky start at first for them but then they would start to like each other

I meant that I might make a good friend of theirs. Sorry!

Well, I don't really find that as one of his best pics because... uh... Well, I don't really know why. I guess it's because he's not really smiling. Smile Michael, smile!

Speaking of Michael J. Fox, I'm reading 'Lucky Man'. W00t! GO ME!

#44 Oct 11th 2007, 3:05pm
bttf4444
Hey, that's cool! I actually think it'd take a little while for the ripple effect to catch up. One had even suggested that Marty insisted he talked with his mother about not being able to see Jennifer due to the car being wrecked - because he was confused by his memories. He would've never talked about that with his mother in the old timeline, though - because she didn't really approve of Jennifer.

Yeah, it's true that Michael should've smiled in that picture - but I think he just looks sot and cuddly! What do you think of Lucky Man so far?

i have 4 copies of the book and i love to read it over and over again! i also have hollywood dads which has a picture of him on the cover with his kids and also there is a brief mention the book about how he misses his dad

Well, I'm only 10 pages in, so far, but I like it. The school library only had one copy. I'm reading it for brickyard.

I have to admit that the part where Michael had a fight with his siblings shortly after their father died bugged me a bit. I mean, Michael is usually the one trying to maintain peace and harmony in his relationships - so it bothered me to read about him being the cause of a fight.
