Topic: A Dreamer's Obsession
All my Wicked Dreams have been...weird.

I had one where I was a cheerleader, and I was running along a large dirt track with two other cheerleaders - one was a guy, the other was a girl. Then, when we got to the end of a track they started singing to each other. Or at least...she was...she started singing "I'm Not that Girl" in a sort of sense. Only she did sang it like this: "There's a girl I know, he loves he so, I am that girl!" She made the song happy and...and...blah! I was sooooo ticked. And I still am...grrr.

That's all I have for now, I'll post some other dreams later.

Hahahaha, interesting dream...

I had a dream that I was watching an OBC performance of Wicked last weekend... I think Idina was at the end of "The Wizard and I" when the thing morphed into Phantom of the Opera with a random green person in the audience who was sitting in front of me, and then turned into Wicked again. But then one of my friends had to bang on the door of my room (I'm in a boarding school) and wake me up for brunch. *sigh*

Indeed, I also hate it when people wake me in the middle of dream, because I can't have the dream again to finish it...*Fumes*.

Okay, but now I'm going to tell you all a drea that i had and a dream someone on the net had.

Mine: Okay, I had one where a tornado was happening, so I'm guessing it pertained to Nessarose and the whole house/tornado thing. :P But fortunatly, the dream was perfectly plausible and a house did not fall on top of me. Once again, :P. Basically, we were driving and a tornado came by and we stopped and ducked in a side-ditch, which I believe is what you're are really supposed to do. So I didn't die. *shrugs* It had to be the most sensible dream in my lifetime.

Someone's: “I had the strangest Wicked Dream once. What happens is that I am on the stage itself, I see Kristen Chenoweth, and Joel Gray and Chistery, and this is probably when Elphaba is in the audience of the Wizard, anyways... There is a mirror beside me and I look into it, and I figure out that I am Elphaba! So I go with it and then it ends up that I steal the Grimmerie, and go up a forgotten room with Glinda. We sing Defying Gravity, and just when I am about to fly, a single green rose is thrown up onto the stage. Everything goes dark and Glinda is missing. I keep on singing and by the time I sing " and no one is gonna bring me--" I stop. My hand touches my stomach and blood is oozing out. I look towards the audience and it turns out Glinda shot me with a rifle.”

Okay, this one scares me slightly...

And, by the by, Defying person of the gravity 728! You joined! *hugs* Cool dream...I just wish you could've finished it. :P

Yeah, I wish I could resume dreams.... The pleasant ones, that is.

Heheheh, I don't recall any sensible dreams I've had.... But then again, the odd ones/ones that have to do with my many obsessions stick out in my head. I vaguely remember dreaming about RENT once.... Anyway slightly off topic, since it's not about Wicked, but my friend had a dream about Harry Potter a while ago, and she said she was riding on Buckbeak with JKR and someone else, and they were searching for rotten birds' eggs. :D

*shudders* That must not have been a pleasant dream, poor person!

My last Wicked dream so far was...

I was in Elphie's Kiamo Ko castle, and she was showing me around. And let me tell you...it wasn't pretty. I won't go into great detail but...lets just say some murders took place...(CoughWizardCoughMorrible)...and...ew. So, I was basically thinking the whole time how she might really be evil..or WICKED. *shrugs* I know there's more...but...can't remember!

One time, I had a dream involving Wicked.

Dream: I was sitting in the audience with my dad and the show was about to start. However, as soon as the curtain rose, the dream switched to something else(I don't remember what...). When I woke up I was all: "WTF? I can't even watch it in my dreams????!

I had a dream where Elphie was flying on her broomstick when she grabed me by the arm and lifted me up higher and higher. I looked up at her and she smiled a "wicked" smile. (Pardon the pun!) Anyway I looked down and saw the Emerald City and, for some weird reason, I saw Fiyero. Elphie dropped me and I landed in Fiyero's arms. "Why, Alex, I do believe you've become more beautiful since I saw you!" He said. It was kind of creepy, since I don't even like Fiyero. I laughed anyway. Then Elphie picked me up again and took me to Munshkin Land. (Sorry for any mistakes.) There I met Glinda, who like, was ugly. I mean it. I was so weirded out I woke up screaming! Anyway tell me what you think!

I had anouther WEIRD dream about beloved Wicked:

I was standing in that corn feild where they put Yero when someone... *coughs "ELPHIE"* yelled "He's mine!" Suddenly I find myself sitting beside Nessa's legs, watching Glinda slap the crap out of Yero AND Elphie! (I woke up laughing!) Anywho then Fiyero comes over to me and says "Alex, you've got to get the Grimmerie." So I do, then radomly become engrossed in the Grimmerie. I think I decided to cast a spell, because the next thing I know I'm at that castle in The Wizard Of Oz, watching Elphie melt. You should have seen Yero's face!!!! It was soooo funny! Anyway tell me what you think.

I was standing in Munchkin Land, making fun of Yero. Then Elphie started wacking me with her broom stick! I was like "WHAT THE FREAKIN" OZ, ELPHIE!" It was funny, cause Glinda was rolling on the Yellow Brick Road in laughter. Then I woke up, realizing it was 7:20 A.M!!!!

I had a hugely weird Wicked dream! I was Elphaba and I was running away from something with a tom of peoppel with me! well actually only like 4 but anyways! People in the town I used to live in LOVED me! It was strange! They gave me these barries that grew within minutes of planting them called "Adult Barries" and when i found everyone we were in a court room because one of them was in trouble and some poeple tried to look at my face! I had the brim of my pointed hat covering it you see and they tried to see me and I pushed them away yelling "GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!" then i woke up!

I have had tons of Wicked dreams. Here are the two most interesting ones.

First one:

I am going to wicked, LA cast, with my Drama club. We sit down in front row seats. My friends and I squeal as that guy who says "Please turn off all cell phones/ recording devices-" comes on. But the man doesn't say that. He says-

"Will the person in seat A10, come back stage, please?" I sit slumped in my seat, as my friend stared at me with dubious wonder.

"Shiloh." I turned to her.

"What?" I said as I took a bite of a Chocolate covered cookie dough bar.

"Shiloh." She repeated in disbelief.

"What?!"

"You- you-"

"I WHAT?"

"You are in seat A 10." Oh. My. Gods. I could hardly believe it. Missy, my other friend looked at me enviously.

"He probably meant 'A 12!" (The seat she was in.)She stood up in pride.

"No," Angel said. "He said, 'A 10!"

"Shiloh, you better get back there!" Mrs. G, my drama teacher said. "Take your ticket with you."

"Okay." So I go.

Behind is a world I have never seen before- the hustle and bustle of Broadway. Set crew running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Surely Broadway was far more organized than this! And after all the time that Wicked had been running too!

I then see a man, who I have only met in the far breeches of the Grimmmerie- Joe Mantello. He is sitting at a table with two other men.

"There she is." He whispers to one of his assistants.

"A little short, don't ya think?" One says.

"Not any shorter than Megan." Another responds.

"True." Joe says. He stands up, and reaches out his hand. "Hello, I am Joe Mantello. I will be your director for this evening."

"Okay.... Nice to meet you, Joe. Heh, that's my brother's name." He laughs nervously. Maybe this was a bad idea.

"Yeah, that happens a lot." He motions to the table. "Sit?"

I smile and do as he said.

"Okay, so what's your name, first off." Asks one of the assistants.

"Shiloh." I answer quiet simply.

"Okay, Shiloh," said the other, "We need someone to play Elphaba- all of the understudies, and Eden came down with a sudden case of- well, something. And we need YOU to play Elphie."

"You're kidding."

"I kid not. Sing the last part of Defying gravity for us, hun."

I do. They nod. "You'll work fine."

Oh my God. Was this happening?

"Okay, do a couple of lines for us." I do, as one of the assiants read for Morrible and Galinda in the 'Dear Old **' scene.

"Well, this worked in the strangest way possible. Good luck Shiloh. Make up is right over there." Joe points to it.

I go, and become greenified, as they put a pair of head phones over my ears, and they play Elphaba's lines over and over and over again in my ears. I learn the lines easily as I read the 'Cat in the Hat,' and they dress me in ** Elphie garb. I hear the music out side as they dry my hair, (as they had died it black, it's long enough to be Elphaba's hair,) and they rush to braid it.

This was going to be great.

IT was.

AFTER I PLAY ELPHIE:

"Oh my god, Shiloh, that was brillant!" Alexis says.

Missy scoffed. "I wish I could have played Galinda."

Joe ran to me with a smile. "Shiloh, you save it! You saved our show! Stay on as Elphaba Under study?"

What did I say? Who knows, because my mother then woke me up. =D

I had a dream three nights ago:

My momma and I where ready to see Wicked. Instead of being in FRONT of the stage we where on the side. Anyway, it got dark, of course, but I couldn't hear anything. Then I saw Glinda walk onstage with this freaky looking guy in black....The next thing I know the stage grows green and Elphie is flying around the theater. A while later, Glinda comes to my seat. "You're Alex!" She exclaimed, like she was my fan. "Yessss" I said in a cufused hiss. Glinda beamed. I don't remember the rest, but when the show *finally* started it was something totally different then Wicked..

I had a dream like yours, Zarrian...

I dreamed that I went to Wicked with my parents. For some reason, we got there at about four in the afternoon, though the show started at 7:30. We sat down, thinking we had plenty of time, when all of a sudden there was a huge commotion onstage and someone started yelling, "We have no one to play Elphaba, the person who's supposed to be here is sick and there's no one else!" I said jokingly to my mom, "They should let me do it, I know all the words!" Somebody on the stage heard me, jumped down, grabbed me by the hand, and said, "All right, come on, you can do it, hurry and go and get green, we've got ten minutes!" They then proceeded to haul me backstage and put all the green makeup on me. As soon as that was done, they said, "Get on, you're late!" I ran out onstage and started singing "The Wizard And I" (wearing the wrong costume, for some reason. I remember it was a black dress.) But I forgot the end of the song!! I ended up just walking around on stage- I hadn't forgotten where to go or what to do, just the words to the song- with the orchestra director staring at me in a puzzled way. When the music ended, I went backstage, and a random girl from my school took me to go get the green makeup touched up because they'd done it badly the first time. (The makeup artists and I had a very nice conversation.) When that was done, she took me back onstage, but when we got there, someone told me that they'd gotten someone else to fill in for me. I looked out onstage, and there was a random girl with a black dress and no makeup walking around singing what I knew was 'Dancing Through Life,' even though it actually was a completely different song. I sat down at the back of the stage, wearing the costume Elphaba wears in Act II, and watched. All of a sudden, people from my school got up out of the audience, came onto the stage, and walked across holding up their cell phones, maybe taking pictures. I said to the person with me, "Do they always do this?" and she replied, "No, not always, but sometimes one person will, and then they all get up and do it." And that was pretty much the end.

That was long. Sorry if it makes no sense whatsoever.

Thank you, darling. I just got "You're obsessed" from my friends.

Remembered another one. I had this one on the day our first-semester final exams ended...

I was leaving my final exam for math to go to my English final. When I came to a staircase that led down to the lobby of my school (a staircase that in actuality does not exist), I heard piano music, so I leaned over to look. The music stopped, and somebody came out and talked about how the musicians had come specially to play for us. As everyone applauded, I thought, "Wouldn't it be cool if that pianist had been playing something from Wicked?" Just then, the pianist began playing again, and I realized that they were playing "The Wizard and I." I began to sing along, and had to add the hand gestures, because it's kind of become a reflex for me to do that. There was a woman across the stairway from me doing exactly the same thing. I thought to myself, "She's such a showoff. She isn't that good, anyway." However, since she seemed to want to be the best, I backed off, sang softer and tried not to move so much. We got to the end of the song, and I thought, "She didn't do that very well."

This, of course, was when I realized it was Idina Menzel, who had come to my school to judge our finals. (I have no idea what she was judging, we don't have finals that depend on judging, but that was the reason that came to me in the dream.) Feeling sheepish, I went home and promptly forgot whether or not I had taken my English final, and woke up thinking, "Oh drat, I have to go back tomorrow to find out!"

Sorry to burst your bubble
I had a dream that I was sleeping in my bed and Elphaba was telling me to wake up, shaking me and stuff. So when I woke up eyes stared at her with shock and she stepped back into the shadows and disappeared. Afterword, I really woke up sad that the dream didn't last longer.

I've had a couple:

I was watching the OBC, who for some reason were in London.

Idina Menzel was in the middle of Defying Gravity.

I get tapped on the shoulder, I turn around, and Idina Menzel is also sitting next to me.

"Aren't I awesome?" she says. I scream hysterically, and the two Idina Menzels tell me to shut up and let her sing.

One involved Fiyero doing yoga, but it's rather vague.

And I turned green one morning, and Glinda appeared from under my bed and gave me a hug. O.O

Let me first say that I love the comments people leave in these Wicked forums, they really brighten my day.

Secondly, Sae13 you've got had some really good dreams, I love the one where Glinda's Rofling.

Ok I've had a couple Wicked related dreams, the latest happened at my former high school.

It was the final day for my fellow Year 12s and I, so we were all in random costumes. Suddenly we're all in the hall for the Year 12 concert thing we do every year, it turns out my friend and I are going to do this Wicked act sort of thing and I'm to be Elphaba. So I'm at the back of the hall facing the stage and I've got a broomstick that somehow I know is gonna let me fly around the room. Suddenly I'm in the centre of the hall with the other year 12s and this banner with the Wicked logo falls from the roof and some Wicked-esque music starts playing. And then on stage the curtains part and this huge projector screeen appears with the Wicked logo and some announcer guy says: "Are you ready for Wicked?"

What makes this dream even odder is that I had it right after reading all your posts for the first time and thinking I wish I would have a Wicked dream tonight. And. I. Did.

Ok another totally random dream I had ages ago, which I don't remember too clearly now, was that Glinda was in some sort of institution that was built into a cliff face and and she was being visited by Boq. I can't remember what they said except that it had something to do with Elphaba being gone and Glinda being crazy. How...nice. O.o

I am so excited! Previews for Wicked started last Friday, it opens July 12 and I'm going to see it July 27. Life is good indeed. I can't contain my delight, I merely mention it to my family now and they spout out words like 'obsessed' and 'intervention'. They're just joking of course....most of the time.....I think. :S

I guess it's a good thing they don't know about the dreams. Then they might be worried. :D

Anyhoo, a while back I had this dream involving Elphaba, Fiyero, Glinda, Boq, Nessa, Shenshen and Pfannee (Avaric may have been there too, but everyone else was musicalverse), they were all at a carnival/circus late at night. I'm a little hazy on the details but it included a crazed murderer and Fiyero calling Glinda: Princess *Something* (I'm not sure what it was but it had something to do with her fashion style I think)
