This is an imposter trying to discredit and shame another user, ignore him.

anyway Rimera I want to make some slight edits to Jaren's profile and add a few characters if thats ok.

I wish to do something humor orientated.

thank you and i'm glad you asked. two different ways. by weilding two staff light sabers at once, or through a little mechanism he built to interlock 4 lightsabers at the same time.

#152 May 08th, 3:58pm
Grey-wolf David

two Staff lightsabers can't be wielded at the same time. Its physically impossible.

#153 May 08th, 5:37pm
Jack The Riddler

i beg to differ. it may be very difficult, but i assure you good man that it is in fact possible. i have wielded two staffs at once, though they weren't light sabers. it is difficult to do, but possible.

#154 May 08th, 5:40pm
Grey-wolf David

yes, difficult, and here is why. The chances of you killing yourself with your own blade are magnified four times. Besides four lightsabers at once isn't so great, Grievous was creamed by Kenobi

#155 May 08th, 5:47pm
Jack The Riddler

well that is because grievous was a noob when it came to using lightasbers. his only good, or fluid move whas when he spun them around like saws. also, it isn't like he cant just use one or two instead of four at the same time. the point is that there is the possibility of it.

Ok.. since we're in a heated discussion about Lightsaber design, hows this one... three blades... all on a single handle... the blade emitters are focused so that the three blades tips meet at the end of the middle blade.. thus creating a lightsaber broadsword...

Now, I know its not efficient... but for sheer intimidation factor, (Its a Sith/Darkside weapon) it would look bad-ass.

General Grievous had more than two arms. How many arms does your character have, Jack?

#158 May 08th, 7:29pm
rimera

Jack, I'm not disapproving of your character. I just want to make sure it's not godmodeled, that's all. And, feel free to go to the Jedi Council room to discuss this... we're clogging up the Character and Sign-Ups thread.

#159 May 08th, 7:32pm
Jack The Riddler

okay, he isnt. his styles are difficult to master and at times, rather choppy. interesting idea with the broadsword there though. but, where exactly do i start off with my character? there are so many threads ... anyways, lets take this to the jedi council.

#160 May 08th, 7:38pm
rimera

Also, Grey-wolf, go ahead and make the changes, and we'll look at them.

#161 May 08th, 7:48pm
Anime-StarWars-fan-zach

I shall post this both in the Characters thread and in the JC thread, to make sure everyone gets it.

Personally, I think that wielding two double-bladed saber would be possible. For a human, extremely difficult, but it could be done. For a species with more than two or three arms, it could probably be done. As long as said person is very skilled with a blade and trained hard to perfect the skill, it can be done, I believe. So, as long as your character has taken many years to train to master fighting with two lightsaber staffs, I will be fine with it.

To Darquecyder 6: Did you get my PM that I sent to you???

re del lupo

I've made the edit.

But just as a reminder, these jedi do have their force presence suppressed and they will stay on Coruscant in their shop for the rest of this rp and through 80% of the sequel.

Okay, Grey-wolf, one question before your additional characters can be approved. All are good, but.... Trent Obath is a Jedi Knight, yet cannot use the Force? Please explain.

#165 May 09th, 3:08pm
re del lupo

He can use the force, he just doesn't excel at it.

#166 May 09th, 6:30pm

Okay. That makes sense to me. Since Swim's back, though, she should be the one to approve them, I think. I'll PM her.

You've got the go-ahead.

Name: Admiral Axximand Soran Graves

Species: Human

Homeworld: Taris

Age: 61

Hair: White Eyes: Blue

Profile: Admiral Graves was once a captain during the battle of Endor, and a fighter pilot during the battle of Hoth during the old Empire/Rebellion days.. having worked his way up the ranks to finally command the Seventh Fleet, over five hundred of the finest vessels ranging from capital ships to freighters. When word of Luke Skywalker's death was finally reported, and the resurgance of the Empire, Graves ordered the entire Seventh to jump out-system.... and then out-galaxy... hiding in the black at the edge of the entire galaxy, like when the original Rebel Fleet hid there years ago before the Battle of Endor.

After eight years of hiding, and listening to the atrocities and destruction this "Darth Xarkun' has spread in this new more brutal Empire, Graves and the captains under his command have had enough. They prepare their forces for a direct assault, with hopes to finally joining up with the FA.

Ten ways to spoil dinner

Helo, I'm new here. Can someone give me a crash course?

Name: Kig Ar (Prefers just Ar.)

Gender: Male:

Age: 24

Species: (Making this one off the top of my head.) Styxian. (Not that hard to figure out where I got the name is it.)

Hair color. No hair. His species is reptilian-ish.

Eye color: Golden amber.

Home planet: Unknown. All he knows is that he was born on a space ship heading for coruscant. They were heading there for some reason that is still in the 'figuring it out' stage.

occupation: Jedi (Becasue they're cool)

Description: dark green scaly skin, he has two curled horns on his heads and many think he looks quite monstrous. His body is lean and thin, he's tall (6"3') He wears those cloaks that the Jedi wear. And his lightsaber is blue. (My favorite color.)

Personality: Sarcastic, a real jokester. He may look frightening bur he's actually very nice person and doesn't mind most things, even insults don't phase him. He doesn't care what other think. He sometimes uses his intimidating looks to get people to cooperate with him on missions.

History: He was born on a small ship of refugees heading for coruscant. They were poor and didn't have much food or water. His parents said very little about their home world. They said it was "a dump" and "don't go there for vacation." Ar ended up becoming a jedi with a recognizable force. He has mildly above regular midi-chlorian levels. But npt by much.

Anything else notable: Not much. He's left handed, if that's really notable.

(Hope you like him. I kinda based him off me though. Not the way he looks though. Of course. That'd be cool.)

Lady Tragic

Kuur Skirata

Female Mandalorian (Human), Non Force Sensitive

Age: 17

Hair: Red, short, and unruly

Eyes: Very dark brown

Homeworld: Mandalore

Occupation: Bounty hunter and mercenary tech specialist

Orientation: Neutral/Mercenary, but loyal to family and anyone she befriends personally.

Kuur Skirata is one of the grandchildren of Kal Skirata, the daughter of Mereel and a Mandalorian woman named Orari. She and her sister are the only children fathered by any of the Nulls who show signs of their enhanced intelligence and mental instability.

Kuur has a passion for machinery, and is generally talkative and gregarious, but has a hot temper and gets easily frustrated when someone has a hard time understanding things that come easily to her. Prone to mood swings and excitability, she is rarely seen outside the company of her sister. As a Mandalorian she is more than capable of fighting.

Kuur carries a light repeater and a hold-out blaster, as well as a combat knife. Her Mandalorian armor is violet trimmed with green. Her name comes from the Mando'a k'uur, or Hush!

Eyayah Skirata

Female Mandalorian (Human), Non Force Sensitive

Age: 17

Hair: Red, short, and unruly

Eyes: Very dark brown

Homeworld: Mandalore

Occupation: Bounty hunter and mercenary field medic

Orientation: Neutral/Mercenary, but loyal to family and anyone she befriends personally.

Kuur's twin sister doesn't say much, but when she does, it's usually sarcastic, morbid, or both. She's far more patient than her sister, but very possessive when it comes to personal space and personal posessions and a scary girl when riled. She is a fully qualified field medic who could never bring herself to go to a university and become an actual doctor. She is nearly always with Kuur, and doesn't care much about other people one way or the other.

Kuur carries a souped up verpine rifle and a bes'kad, or Mandalorian sword. Her armor is Dark blue and orange, and her name means 'echo'.

Sometimes one of them will let slip a comment about Laar, a third sister, but if questioned further will refuse to talk about it.

Can I be blunt? I despise newbies. But surprisingly I have no problem with your characters. You need to wait for either Rimera or Swim Angel to approve you.

#173 Jun 07th, 6:31pm
rimera

Approved, Lady Tragic. Feel free to get your foot in the door for this one, but it's about to end, and then you can join us in the sequel. It's your choice, however, as the sequel will take place 7 years from this one, which will mean your characters will have aged 7 years. You also have the option of simply waiting for the sequel and playing your characters then. Either way is fine.

Lady Tragic

Eh, I'll slide 'em foreward 7 years with the new game, and make them Mereel's granddaughters instead.

Cool, just remind me when I set up the new one, so I know. You may have to re-post their character descriptions once I get it set up. Is that okay?

You got it.

Umm... I'd like to make a character for this forum if that's alright... You guys are making another forum, right? Like a sequel? Well, I'm interested in Star Wars, but I honestly don't know too much about it.... So i'm a little nervous about joining when you all seem so adept. I don't wanna slow you down, or look stupid...

I'd really appreciate if someone could help me, you know, get my barrings.

Sith Master2019

Ah, you've done your homework, most people who apply don't bother to check if the current forum is still active. You actually know we're doing a sequel! Holy crap! I am astounded!

Anyway, this forum is what I'd call AU to the extreme. You don't have to know much about the story of Star Wars, just the universe, and if you go to wookiepedia which is a branch of wikipedia dot org (just go there and search for wookiepedia, you'll find a link), you'll be able to research anything you need to about Star Wars.

Don't worry about looking stupid, either, I play the Emperor of the entire galaxy, and am the main driving force of the good guy's opposition, but I don't have a clue what's going on in the story. I've only a broad overview, beat that! So, anyway, as you've researched, we have moved on to a sequel forum which is SUPPOSED to start August 1st. Between you and me (though anyone can see this), I doubt it'll happen then, I should know, because I'm a moderator with rimera, and we haven't done anything in weeks! Uh... so, if you'll just create a character, you can apply in the new forum. Here's the link.

http://www.fanfiction.net/forum/Heros_Tyrants_and_Unfinished_Business_A_Rolepla/47383/

It's rimera's fault the title is cut off! She made it too long. Anyway, it's pretty self explanatory, I think, and all the directions are in the Rules and How this Forum Functions thread, written by me, of course. All you need to do is post a description of your character in Sign Up Here, and, unfortunately, rimera or I get to take care of the rest. Welcome to the longest, most complex trilogy of Star Wars stories I have ever worked on. It's fun the first time around, so you're lucky you're coming in the for the ending. Take your time, by the way, we're not quite ready to begin as I mentioned before.

Ok, thanks for the input. I just hope that I can find a place to fit in.
