"The truth of love will always guide us The strength above will be inside us Forever more we'll be together Our hearts will sew, one to the other For the honor of love By the power above We have the power We have the power All hail the rightous Empire!!!!!!" Lacus sung as she finished her song. As soon as she finished she saw her fans cheer. She looked into the crowd and saw Magus near the back of it. They had agreed he would be at every one of her concerts to protect her until he decided she was old enough to go without his protection. Awhile later she was now in the crowd talking to several fans, asking them what they thought about the Empire. All of the fans she talked to said they supported the Empire, Xarkun, and her father Magus, but to make sure they actually did, she read their minds. She found three supposed fans that turned out to be Rebel supporters, and one of them was a spy. She would report this to Magus later. A few hours later everyone was gone, leaving only Magus and Lacus. "You did a good job singing their, Lacus. You can report to me on the loyalty of the fans on the way to the palace. Let's go." Magus said and they both walked away.

She slipped her tight fitting shirt back on, then her pants, boots, she sheathed her vibro shiv, and holstered her two blaster pistols. Caden stayed lying in his bed, the covers hiding the lower half of his body. He gazed at her lovingly. "I love the job, but if I could, I'd leave it in a second, if it meant you'd come too." "The job is important..." Irena muttered as she laced her boots. "I was recruited at the age of eighteen, Marrku. For a woman to be asked to serve her government as I have... you know I cannot leave the job, I believe in what we're fighting for. The Rebels are fools, their government does not function as ours does.... And the job is all you live for, besides me, you could never leave it." "Are you telling me these moments are enough for you? Dont you want more?!" "I can't play what if when I'm working a job like this, and neither can you. We knew it would be like this, I'll be up on Athrun's ship for ninety percent of the time, and of the ten percent I'm not, the five percent will be you and I. We knew we'd live off stolen moments, Marrku. There's nothing we can do about it." Irena said quietly, as she finished lacing her leather boots. Her brown eyes seemed to cut into his flesh, see into his very soul.... "I'd kill that bastard in a second, relieve you of your duties." "I'd be assigned somewhere else if I was fortunate, if not I'd be captured, interrogated, executed. Think clearly Caden... we'll be together soon. But the job is important, the Empire is...." "Dont you ever feel the Empire is... wrong?" "No." Irena said firmly. "Our methods may be harsh but at least under us society functions normally, and one person makes all the decisions that it would take weeks, maybe months for a senate to decide on... now I must leave." "Goodbye, Irena, may the Force be with you. Give Athrun hell." "You know I can't, farwell my love." With that Irena Derevko left the apartment, taking all the necessary precautions to not be seen she headed back to her ship and flew off planet, back to her never ending job....

"Their is something always lurking in the shadows. Those somethings have kept the galaxy at peace. Why do you think the Republic had survived so long, how the Empire survived before it toppled from the Rebellion, and how the Empire once again resurfaced? Was it all by fate? Or was someone in the shadows manipulating these events?" Light Amaneo had said to a potental recruit for the Genohardan. "I....I don't know....." the person had answered. Light gave him a devilish smile. "That is what the Genohardan does. And we want you to join us." Light sighed as that memory surfaced. In the end, the recruit had decided, for some reason, not to join, so Light had erased his memories of that conversation. He contacted a Genohardan spy. "Has the location for the Ice Princess been found?" he asked the spy. "Yes sir. It has been located on Naboo. We don't know why for the moment, but we shall investigate." the spy replied. "Very well, carry on." Light replied and cut the connection. "Sometimes, I wonder if it's worth it having all of this." Light muttered, very bored. Suddenly his head body guard, a human woman named On Ja, entered his office. "Security has reported no break-ins from any bounty hunters or assassins, my lord." On Ja said to him. "Good, very good." Light replied in a dull voice. In an instant, he and On Ja had drawn their blasters and had them pointed at each other. "I hope you're a good shooter, otherwise this will be short." Light said. "As do I." On Ja replied. BANG The body of a would be assassin, who had hidden himself with a cloak shield generator thing(can't remember the real name of it), fell to the floor, two blaster marks showing on his chest. "I noticed that guy the moment he came in, as you probably did when you entered. I wasn't a bounty hunter for nothing. On Ja, dispose of him." Light ordered. She picked up the body and left.

Nevertheless, Caden allowed none of these emotions to show as he strode down the iron gray corridor toward his superior’s office. Marrku Caden was not emotional, he was cold, and hardened with years of experiencing death, suffering, betrayal, backstabbing, and stealth. But whenever it involved Irena… he could not bear it. Though she was capable he worried, and the grim look on his superior’s face did nothing to ease his racing mind. He sat down before the man’s shiny, black metal desk, as cold and hard as he portrayed himself to be, and he was very good at it, he was positive no one but Irena could see through his façade, only Irena knew him as he truly was, perhaps that was what he was most worried about losing…. “Welcome Agent Caden,” his director greeted solemnly. “Good to see you Kendall.” Caden replied with a nod. Kendall ran his wrinkled hands over his bald scalp and gave a gruff sigh. Caden’s heart stopped, this was about Irena. “It would be better to meet under different circumstances,” Kendall began. “because these circumstances are… grave, Mr. Caden, very grave.” “Sir?” Kendall pursed his lips and folded his hands across his black desk. “I’ll come right to the point. We believe Agent Derevko is a traitor to this Empire.” “WHAT?!” Caden exploded before he could help himself. He stared into Kendall’s eyes as though he were trying to gauge whether or nor the man was sane. He took a deep breath, calmed himself, and spoke. “Irena Derevko is a loyal agent who serves this Empire faithfully, I’ve seen no evidence to suggest—“ “Well, you aren’t exactly unbiased are you?” Kendall cut him off with an edge. Caden was rendered speechless, unbiased? What…. “I’ve personally received reports, Agent Derevko has been meeting with Admiral Athrun Takamoto periodically.” “That proves nothing!” Caden spat. “No, but along with that, you and I both know some important intelligence she’s turned over to us was not valid, and she’s caused the death of several of our agents acting on that intelligence!” “Those were accidents, isolated incidents!” “And, we’ve intercepted several transmissions detailing information about this agency, and her status to an unknown source.” “The Emperor, she contacts the Emperor at times!” “She was not sending this particular intelligence to the Emperor, we have confirmed it.” “To me then, occasionally she—“ “Please,” Kendall cut him off once more, throwing up a hand to silence him. “All evidence points to Derevko’s betrayal of us, an asset confirmed her meetings with the Admiral, along with other things.” “Asset, what…” “We have another agent stationed on the Justic.” Kendall replied. “So, our director has devised a plan to rid us of this Derevko problem.” “You cannot be serious! There is no conclusive evidence that Derevko is betraying us, I’m her handler! I know her!” “That’s where you’re wrong Caden.” “Show me the Force damned evidence then!” “I’m not required to show you anything!” “I—“ “Caden, I know how you feel about Derevko, and I also know that on occasion, some of your interactions with her were… not permitted.” “What?!” “Agent Caden, security cameras planted in your apartment have displayed you and Derevko sleeping together on several occasions, possibly engaging in s—“ “YOU PLANTED CAMERAS IN MY HOME?!” “I was authorized to do so, yes. We’ve suspected Derevko for a long time, so we planted cameras in your home, because, as we suspected Derevko, we also believe you might have some involvement. That’s been disproved, now, you are going to help us take care of this problem.” Kendall stated. “The hell I am!” “If you do not, I am authorized to terminate your employment here, and by doing so you will have to be executed.” “I—WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!” “Long ago, Lord Xarkun decreed than anyone holding valuable intelligence for the Empire be killed if they were deemed traitorous, or simply retired from their job, or if their employment was terminated.” Kendall explained with a cruel, wolfish grin. Caden was speechless once more. “So,” Kendall continued. “You will help us take care of Derevko. Before sending her to infiltrate the Freedom Allaince’s ranks, we implanted her with a tracking device that doubles as an explosive device—“ “I WILL NOT HELP YOU KILL MY—“ “Yes you will, or we’ll kill you, and dispose of her regardless.” “You bastard!” “I’m told that a lot.” Kendall nodded. “Now, you’re to contact Derevko, find out why she has been frequently meeting with Athrun, when she feeds you the lie, you’ll tell her this can work to our advantage, you’ll tell her to continue meeting with him, find out his schedule, anything of importance so he can be assassinated…” “I will not!” “And,” Kendall went on as though he had not heard him speak. “Then we both will monitor her progress, and the next time she enters Athrun’s quarters we’ll detonate the tracking device and kill them both, effectively… what’s the phrase, killing two birds with one stone. After the Mon Calamari surprise attack Lord Xarkun expressed interest in the admiral’s death anyway.” “I will never do this!” “Then you will be terminated.” Caden’s mind raced, if he was killed, so was Irena, there was not a thing he could do dead… but… perhaps he could warn her. Perhaps… yes… yes… he knew that Lord Xarkun… the Emperor had once expressed Irena’s value… he would… he would know…. Rapidly a plan formed in Caden’s mind. “Fine,” the agent said. “I guess I have no other choice.” “No, you so not. Now, you’ll need to contact Derevko at your earliest possible convenience, using this device so that we can monitor the conversation.” Kendall said, handing him a standard issue comlink. “If you attempt to contact Derevko in any other way, or warn her, you shall both be terminated immediately.” “Fine,” Caden snapped, inwardly smiling. He snatched the comlink away from Kendall and stormed out, he knew exactly what to do.

"I see......then that's a problem. Who do you think I should send?" Light said, stalling for time to think up a plan.
"Well sir, I do have an emmergency hyperdrive system I could travel to Naboo since it's close enough and meet you guy there! That is if he has the money I was promised. (Jarret prefers to be paid in nova crystals and other forms of currency that work almost anywhere and are harder to trace than credits)

Light could hear someone else in the background say, 'Great, he might send someone!" Jarret responds: "No, the your pets are fine. Sir, given the nature of my attack and the fact that they might have done who knows what else to my ship I would rather try to get to a spaceport and che...." Jarret looks behind him as his custom Astromech droid T7-O9 informed him of something. Then he said to Light: "It appears that the emmergency hyperdrive can transport us somewhere and I'm thinking Corellia would be a better choice. Besides I know you have people there!"

(Sadly, I have to go now.)

With that said Jarret turned of his comlink and proceeded to make his way to Corellia.

He walked into Light's office and scanning the room with his cybernetic eyes detected nothing he needed to worry about, aside from the usual of course. He didn't show any signs of weakness as he approached Light. He walked up to Light Amaneo and said: "I see you have new pets, Light. I assume you know why I'm here?"

Ravek laid a pouch of precious stones and gems so that the funds couldn't be easily tracked (in the Star Wars Universe credits can be easily traced). "However, I have another favor to ask you?"
"His Darkness, Emperor Xarkun is interested in the where abouts and apprehension of a man by the name of Jarret Adasca and is willing to pay quite the fortune for the location and twice that for his capture. I have heard he does a lot of smuggling. I am not sure who he works for, but I figured since your into that type of things, that you might know something about him?"
Ravek deposited another bag of valuable stones on Light's desk as he left. Then as an after thought he turned and said: "By the way Light, I would hate to think you were holding back anything from me. If you do, not even your little pets will stop me from killing you!" As he said that he tossed the metal object he had been fiddling with on Light's desk and left. Light was startled to find that it had been completely bent out of shape and into a ball.
"He always knows how to pay with the right stuff that won't be traced.....smart, for a Sith." Light commented.

Turning around the corner Jacen stopped and groaned, while slowly inching to a nearby alley. In front of him were roughly four imperial patrols conversing with each other. They hadn't noticed him yet and he intended to keep it that way. "Hey you stop!" "Sithspit" "Hey thats treasonous!" "Fierfek" Taalfar offered a curse in his native tongue and followed me as I ran down the streets, a dozen stormtroopers behind me. "Taalfar next time I even think of going anywhere near an imperial base feel free to hit me" Taalfar roared what Jacen could only speculate, a yes and continued running.

It had two things written on it. One was a ludicrous amount of credits. The other was a list of locations. The mysterious figure spoke. Her voice was muffled and in a whisper, hardly audible in the noisy cantina, but the woman at the table could hear her. "Some of the locations may change," she whispered raspily, "But, if they do, the payment will increase. Will you take me where I want to go?" she asked.
"If a dozen stormtroopers come in here looking for us, you say we were never here, ok?" The barkeep nodded and went back to his work. Not five minutes later a dozen stormtroopers entered the bar asking for him, and true to his word the bartender told them a lie. "Hey sarge we've been patrolling all day, can we stay for a few drinks?" The sergeant pondered it for a moment and nodded, causing the rest of the troopers to cheer. Jacen and Taalfar cursed quietly to each other from there hiding spot behind the bar.
Mark rolled his eyes. "You know, Bob, you've got a big mouth. We aren't exactly in one of the safer cantinas," he commented before taking a drink. Bom merely laughed, taking another deep swig and gesturing to the barkeeper for another. "Aw, don't worry, Mark... I'm sure everyone here agrees with me... Wookiees are the rodents of the galaxy. Nothing but big, furry, smelly, stupid animals who eat everything in sight. Nope, only thing those beasts are good for is carrying ore from the mines. Speaking of carrying," he said, his arm snaking around the waist of the waitress who was just walking by, "how about you carrying my child, eh, pretty lady?" he asked, obviously getting quite drunk.
Taalfar stood up from behind the counter and roared in the stormtrooper's face, causing the idiot to freeze in fear. Jacen wasn't far behind him, activating his lightsaber and watching as the the troopers scrambled for the blasters. They fired causing Jacen to swing his lightsaber in a defensive pattern as he moved closer and closer to the rest of the squad, with Taalfar right behind him. several of the stormtrooper's were cut down by their own blaster fire; However the rest only saw a flash of silver and green before death took them. Jacen deactivated his lightsaber and unceremoniously lifted Bob right out of his chair. "You got a problem with wookies?"
With those words said, Taalfar grabbed the unfortunate trooper and painfully ripped Bob's arms off, and began to pound him into the floor. Jacen stared at the rest of the patrons and in a rather commanding voice yelled "Anyone else got a problem with us!?" The other patrons quickly turned back to their business. "Alright Taalfar, lets get out of here, I don't think we'll be welcome for much longer" Taalfar growled in agreement and together they set off towards their ship

"Gakushi-Dono's Stormers aren't that weak." She turned to the woman. "Regardless of what I think about the job, we should probably leave soon." She put down her glass. "Okay, if you want first-class & in inflight move plus cocktails, you'll have to pay top credit. IMPERIAL Credits of course."
Tema smirked "Gakushi-Donos is keeping an eye on us, If we get more trouble than we can handle, he'll get us out." "Get YOU out! What kind of fool do you take me for? YOU have little to worry about, but everyone else is expendable, I say what hapened to Sir Madzen!" "He had that comming, after threatening our Lord's 'pet'" He sighed. "So we're gonna give her a lift anyway." "You have NOTHING to worry about." She smirked. A Carrack Cruiser is quite survivable. We'll be done in no time." "I was afraid you'd say that." Tema 'affectionately' broke her drinking glass against the side of his helmet. "Let's get going"
Their first destination was Coruscant.
"I don't recall Lord Xarkun barring travel to his world, besides, this ship is still a Commisioned Vessel of the Navy of the Galactic Empire, and YOU are still a Commisioned officer." She turned and walked away. "Where are you going?" "To see how are guest is doing."

“Where is the director?” Caden snapped. “In the conference room, sir.” XxX Caden took a seat at a large, iron grey table, the new director of his department sat across from him, a Force Wraith liaison to Lord Xarkun was to his left(as Irena had worked directly under him at one point), and several other clean shaven, hard looking men were scattered around in every seat not filled. “Agent Caden,” said Director Dixon. “As you know, Agent Irena Derevko has been captured by Admiral Athrun Takamoto, it is likely they have discovered she is a double agent.” “Then what is the purpose of this meeting? We need to extract her!” “No we do not,” said the Force Wraith. “Since when do Force Wraiths become part of intelligence operations?” Caden barked. “Since Lord Xarkun appointed me to watch over the new director.” Force Wraith 087 hissed, casting a glance at director Dixon. “Great,” said Caden, staring to the eyes for the quite terrifying 087, he had short cropped black hair with a tattoo of a mythical beast, a dragon near his right eye, a scar on his left cheek. “You were saying, however, that you do not believe we should extract Irena. So, I want someone to tell me… how the ******* HELL YOU THEY THINK THAT IS THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION!” “Calm down Caden, or I’ll have you ejected from this meeting.” Dixon growled. “Now listen, we have another contact inside Athrun’s ship, he’ll take over Irena’s duties for us, and he’ll dispose of her so no harmful information can be give to--” “Dispose of her? After what she’s done for us! SHE RISKED HER LIFE FOR THIS AGENCY! For the Empire! You bastards aren’t going to do a thing about it, then I will!” “Then you will be disobeying a direct order from your superiors,” said Dixon. “This meeting concluded before you arrived. We have decided to eliminate Derevko, and fully activate our new asset, we called you here as a courtesy to tell you that you will now be handling his case.” “This is outrageous! Lord Xarkun--” “Is not in the mood to save your charming girlfriend this time,” 087 finished, cutting Caden off. “Fine.” Caden conceded, boiling with rage. “I resign.” “You can’t resign! You’re in too deep here, Caden.” Dixon snapped. “Damn you, and damn this government! Irena means nothing to you, does she?” Caden stood up, and reached for the silenced, rapid fire blaster pistol holstered under his arm. “Well then, you get what you deserve you ugly son of a bitch!” Caden pulled out his weapon, angled it straight a Dixon’s head and fired. The director was no more. Caden spun to the right, spraying fire upon one half of the men in the room before they could react, each died quickly. He turned to the left, took out the others, and finally found Force Wraith 087 in his sights. “You can’t kill me, fool.” “Oh, I think I can.” They each moved in unison, 087 drew a long katana, with a vibro cell in its hilt, and Caden fired. His shots slammed into the wall, drilling smoking holes as the Force Wraith dodged and moved for him. The defective agent dropped his blaster pistol, picked up his chair, and brought it across the Force Wraith’s left side when it approached his right flank. 087, caught off guard, let his weapon fall free, and hit the ground with a loud, yet muffled bang. Caden lifted the chair high above his head and brought it down, once, twice, three times, four, five, six…. Uncountable times of the Force Wraith. He beat 087, beat him for Irena, for his ignorance, and by extent he beat the Empire, for all its indecency, for what it had tried to do to Irena once, and now again. He would not have it! He would seek vengeance before they ever killed him, he would ensure the destruction of the Empire, but first, he would rescue Irena. The chair finally broke and its pieces clattered upon the floor as he brought it down one final time on 087, whose face was now bloody, clothing ripped, body broke, covered with cuts and bruises, and interlaced with broken bones. “You…” 087 sputtered. “Caught… me… off… guard… asshole. It… was not… a fair… fight.” “Not much incentive for me to fight fairly.” Caden remarked, retrieving his blast pistol, he aimed its barrel at the defenseless Force Wraith’s head. “Your turn, gutless bastard.” “I was… under orders… you pathetic… moron! If… I had known… Irena… if she was useful… then I might have elected to… extract her… but I’m trained… for efficiency… and it… makes no sense to extract… her… with another asset… to take her post.” “I’ve had enough of efficiency, and all the Imperial crap. I was raised, and I still have a sense of decency, I thought the Empire was the only way for this galaxy… well… I see I was wrong.” “Because we won’t save your girl?” “No, because you wont save anyone, because you’re all evil bastards who vie for power and murder innocents, Xarkun is a tyrant… even though he helped me, he committed so many crimes, he can never be redeemed. And you… you are about to follow in his footsteps… so it’s only right that I kill you.” “You tell yourself that…. But by killing me, who you have nearly beaten to death… are you really so… decent?” “No. You’re right. If I kill you, I become like you.” “And what about Dixon and the others?” “No… they had it coming.” With that, Caden smashed his elbow into 087’s face. Then he stood, and turned, exiting the conference room to find the messenger standing there. “Caden…” the man trailed off. It was then the defective agent realized he was covered in blood. “What have you done?” “What’s right.” “Where are you going Caden?” “To rescue Irena.” With a blaster set to stun, he shot the man, and made off for the hanger bay nearby.
