Topic: Mustafar

As the Rusty Moon and Imperial shuttle faded into realspace, both their pilots established orbit around the tulmultous planet. Bands of reddish orange and violent gold moved microscopically across the obsidian black of Mustafar.

Behind Perin, Choc crossed his arms, studying the volcanic orb. The perfect place to face one's inner demons.

And the girl might even calm down a bit, too.

All they had to do was wait for the rest of the fleet to arrive.

"Fleet?" demanded Perin. "What fleet?"

With little to do locked in the small room, Wook had, by this point, taken to studying her eye in the mirror of the room's small 'fresher. It looked exactly like her other one, though she knew it was not. For one thing, she couldn't see out of it. Her gentle touch to it proved she still felt pain through it, though, and she suspected that, were she to cut the thing out, it would still bleed. She frowned. She would not let something like this make a slave of her, that was for certain. Perhaps.... perhaps there was a way to use it to her advantage, however? After all... if the eye were capable of sending transmissions to Dr. Malk, surely the connection could go the other direction...

Choc watched in silence as the Imperial Shuttle disengaged from the Rusty Moon and flew off in the opposite direction, towards the small fleet of ships that had exited hyperspace a few minutes before.

"Warriors of Ragnorak?" Eitn rolled her eyes, plunking her elbows down on the console with a grumpy expression. "Yet another secret society..."

"He will be fine."

"What - you trust them already?!"

"No," replied the sith. "I trust Perin. Take us down." He left the cockpit and strode to the room in which Ora resided. Halting outside, Choc crossed his arms and waited to be noticed.

Wook ceased looking into the mirror and sat on the bed, waiting. Her despair had dulled to an ever-present ache in her chest, and her mind, unhampered by her feelings, began to wander. Where would Perin go? Why hadn't she just left the ship... it was Perin's ship, after all. For that matter, where was she going?

Hoping against hope that Perin had had enough time to leave the ship, or at least that he wasn't standing outside her door, Wook slowly approached the door and opened it, intending to take a peek down the corridor.

She met the dark-clad figure of Choc, standing there, arms crossed, glaring at her.

"We will land soon." With that, the sith entered and the door closed behind him. "Sit."

Her stomach felt like it was full of cooling molten lead as she did so. She reminded herself why... why she was here, why she had to do this. She gazed at Choc, cold determination in her eyes.

"We will start our training on Mustafar. Have you ever been there before?"

Wook blinked as she thought a moment. "I... don't think so," she said, her voice somewhat uncertain. A vague memory surfaced of a molten lava planet, and... no. That wasn't her.

It was a dark and fiery place, explained the Sith. Many years ago, there were metal refineries and such on the surface, but they had long been abandoned. "We will use one of them for awhile." Choc crossed his arms. "For now, I must see which part of the Wounded Marnock deactivates your eye. We must not be observed and cannot risk its reactivation."

Wook nodded. Just the thought of being spied on by Dr. Malk sent a coldness spreading through her, one which her told her instincts to keep her mind from the subject, lest something horrible happen. She scowled, once again wishing she could just remove the kriffing thing and be done with it. She stood up. "I think I can locate the right part. I had seen something that looked like it could be it, before..." she trailed off. Before she had blanked out, before she had become something else.

Before she had hurt Perin.

Self-loathing fought with despair at that thought, and she cruelly shoved both emotions down. There was no time for such things.

"Look for the piece, then, and I shall notify you when we have landed." Choc left.

The Rusty Moon entered the atmosphere of Mustafar, leaving the fleet to orbit the red and black planet.

Wook made her way into the cargo bay. Once there, she narrowed her eyes at the empty bay. "Okay, Liberty, come out. We need to talk," she said, bracing herself. The best defense was a good offense.

The holographic image of a young woman appeared. She was about to speak, when Wook raised a hand. "Don't say my name. You won't say my name, you won't say anything about who I am or, for that matter, who you are, or so help me, I'll find which one of these pieces activates you and melt it!" she spat, her glare telling the hologram she wasn't bluffing. She stepped toward the hologram, who did not look in the least bit frightened. "You will help me find which piece of your ship blocks the signal going to my eye," she told her in no uncertain terms.

Liberty raised an eyebrow. "Why? So you can re-activate it?" she asked, her voice mocking.

Wook stepped closer, so that she was nose to nose with the hologram, and could see right through her. "If it were up to me, I'd rip this kriffin' eye out and shove it down Dr. Malk's throat," she said, her voice low, "but it isn't. I need the part to take with me to the planet's surface, so I can continue to block the signal," she said.

Liberty gazed at her for a long moment, then laughed. "Oh, honey, I'm shakin' in my boots!" she said, laughing. "I'm a hologram, dear. Just what are you going to threaten me with? I'm already dead!" Wook shuddered... there were some memories she had that were not her own... some memories of... "Besides, what do I get in return for helping you? My ship is in pieces... and this isn't even all the pieces! Why should I help anyone?"

Wook frowned thoughtfully. "I can fix it," she said, making the decision as she said it. Her eyes were on the pieces strewn about. "I'll fix it... and I'll improve it," she said, her love for mechanics taking over. "Your ship... it was like... like a droid," she said softly, as she walked away and bent over the console she had been studying earlier, before...

"A droid?!" Liberty retorted. "My ship was more than a droid, dear girl... my ship was..."

"It was you," Wook finished for her, looking up to the hologram. "That's why your hologram is so life-like... you transfered your own memories into your ship. The way the navigation panel works... the back-up system after back-up system... you gave your ship... your own personality. Literally," Wook said, her eyes wide as she realized it. "You made yourself immortal."

Liberty humphed. "Not immortal... obviously not. I'm in pieces all over another ship's cargo bay!" She shrugged. "So, I got a little carried away. My ship was my life... and..." she looked away. "There was a reason for it all. But, I guess that reason was taken away," she said, somewhat sadly. Her eyes turned to Wook. "Okay," she said. Wook looked up. "I'll show you which part it is... and I'll even help you make it portable. But I have your word... that you'll fix me."

Wook nodded. "It's a deal," she said.

Liberty grinned. "One more thing," she said, her smile turning mischievous. "You take me with you, later." Wook scowled, confused. Liberty's smirk widened. "You know, when you rip that thing out and shove it down Malk's throat. I wanna be there," she said, narrowing her eyes. "I want to see him die. Like he saw me die," she said, venom in her voice.

Wook looked at her for a long moment. "I may need your help to find him."

"You have it."

"Then it's a deal," Wook said, and her eyes flicked over to the ship parts. "Now help me find what I need."

*************************************

Once Wook had the part, made more portable with Liberty's help, she attached it to a holster on her mid-thigh, where, with any luck, it would remain intact without restricting any of her movements. She spent the rest of her time in the cargo bay, looking over the pieces of the Wounded Marnock.

Eitn found a landing zone where seismic activity merely trembled the ground as opposed to seesawing and a jutting ledge provided a safe haven from flying debris. Turning, she ripped the coordinates from the navcomp onto a datapad and handed it to Choc. "Here's the location of the abandoned facility. Remember the offer from the WOR - if you need anything, they've set up temporary orbit around this planet."

He nodded. "I think that it will be quite a while before we call upon them - my experience with secret societies tends to run into the paranoid." The Sith tucked the pad away into his belt and fell silent, watching her.

A blush stole across her face and the Mistryl scowled. "What?!"

Choc considered, at last decided words would not express anything. Reaching out, he took her by the shoulders, drew her close, and lowered his mouth to hers. At the same time, he widened the force bond, letting his emotions flow out and fill her mind, beckoning hers to do the same. For a brief moment, her shoulders stiffened in his grasp, then sagged and her half-gloved hands crept up around his torso, clenching his collar and kneading it. He worked the glove off one of his hands and dug his fingers into the hair at the base of her scalp, right before the braid started, teasing and caressing the fine blanket waves.

Wook put pieces of a puzzle together. The Wounded Marnock was really a marvel of a ship, if one knew where to look. Her mind was almost distracted enough not to think of anything else.

Almost.

Navigational computer. Propulsion systems. Life support systems.

Eitn crouched over Perin, tending the wounds Wook had inflicted.

Life support systems. Ventilation... air purifier... ship-wide sensors.

Her father's throat being cut slowly, his blood pooling beneath her, her mother lying lifeless not far away, from when her lightsaber had sliced through her...

Ship-wide sensors. Sensor array. Communications.

Knives floating threateningly around Elisabeth....

Elisabeth...

"Every one of your systems is tied to the other!" Wook bit, scowling as she threw down a piece she had been working on. "How do you keep it all straight?!" she demanded angrily.

"Well, if you can't do it..."

"Of course I can do it!!" she yelled. Glaring at the hologram, she made an effort to lower her voice. "How do you function this way?! I can't even tell where one part of you ends and the other begins!"

Liberty raised an eyebrow at her, and shrugged. "I'm only human," she responded casually, trying to hide the fact that she had been casting curious glances at Wook. "Like you are," she said, and earned a glare in return before Wook's eyes turned cold and she walked off. "What'd I say?" Liberty asked to the empty cargo bay.

Choc backed away, Eitn still breathing hard, watching him, her mismatched eyes holding a raw contented look. He did not mask himself, preferring to let the Mistryl remember this moment with his real face. When at last the cockpit door closed, on went the t-visor and the Sith headed toward his room. He met Ora on the way. "Are you ready?" he asked in a neutral tone that suggested nothing of what just happened.

Wook nodded. Once again doubts swirled within her mind, doubts about whether this would work... but there was no alterative. She refused to place Perin in danger again... if Choc couldn't help her, she would remove the threat she had become permanently. She would not give her brother the chance to take over her mind. Casting away all doubts, she followed Choc.

With a small whine, the boarding ramp extended and rested on the fragmented soil of the planet. Rolling the kinks out of his neck, Choc rested the duffel more comfortably on his shoulder and took a last look at Eitn. The Mistryl was helping Ora with her gear; she looked up and nodded at the Sith, a grin tracing across her face.

Though he did not smile in return, Choc let up on the guards on the bond long enough to send a feeling of surety to her mind. Then, he nodded for Ora to follow and set off down the boarding ramp, and setting out over the black land toward a distant ridge.

Behind him, Eitn finished buckling the strap behind Ora and patted her awkwardly on the shoulder, not sure if she would be open to a hug or not...

Wook's eyes slid up to Eitn's, the light from the lavas of Mustafar making them look like dark pits. For a moment it occurred to her that not everything was about her... that Eitn would miss Choc.

"Thank you," she said after a pause, her haunted glance alone telling Eitn she didn't just mean about helping her with her gear. Then she tore her eyes away to Choc's retreating back, and left the boarding ramp and Eitn behind, to follow the Sith into the unknown.

A hut, elsewhere, amidst forest and towering trees. A voice from within, "Good morning, my husband." "Good morning, my beloved wife."

Wook almost walked into the back of the Sith when he halted suddenly and shook his head, putting a hand to cover one ear. "Good grief," she heard him mutter. "I hope Eitn doesn't get wind of that."

They descended the long hillside until they reached the bottom of the valley, across which the abandoned mining facility glowered, halfway up the next ridge. Here, a river of molten rock flowed past, the oppressive heat beating against their faces. It was too far to the opposite shore to jump. Setting down his bag, the Sith rolled his shoulders and turned to the silent girl behind him. "Do you trust me?" he asked.

Wook studied the river of lava, then turned back to Choc. Trust? She blinked. "You've gone to too much trouble to just kill me now," she said, shrugging. She was slightly surprised at her complete lack of fear of death... but then, hadn't she been contemplating just that not long ago? In a way, she was actually looking forward to it...

Shoving those thoughts from her mind, she looked back at Choc. "What do I need to do?" she asked without hesitation.

Leaning, Choc caught her fist and helped it on its course. He flipped her over his shoulder, and caught hold of her collar. With one swift motion, he pinned her wrists behind her, set his knee behind her's so she was kneeling by the river of molten rock. "Ora, you are about to die," he snarled over her struggles. "Focus!" He dipped her face nearer to the flaming stream-

She snarled at him. "THAT IS NOT MY NAME!!!!" she screamed at him, struggling in his grasp. The weight of the Sith on top of her seemed to fade and become replaced by the feel of an electric whip biting into the flesh of her back...

Elisabeth Organa is my enemy... Elisabeth Organa must die...

No... Elisabeth... her Master... her mother... she couldn't...

Whiplashes over whiplashes, as Velia stood over her... her hand being sliced apart tendon by tendon...

"Must... kill.... Elisabeth..." she grunted as she struggled to get out from under him, uncaring of the heat that burned the skin of her face as she worked to free one of her legs...

There. There it was. A spark but little else.

Have you ever walked on molten lava before, Choquet D'Var.

He had. He had indeed.

But he had been able to concentrate, then.

Still, this girl needed to realize how far he would have to go and she needed to realize how much she would need to go in return. In one motion, he lifted her up, still holding tight to her wrists and ankles, getting his arms under her so he could carry her easier. The Sith stepped out into the stream. Violent heat battled alongside the sensations of bright orange and deep black. The stark contrast burned against the blackness of his t-visor.

"Listen, girl!" he rasped, tightening his grip as he halted in the middle of the river. She continued to struggle and he knew he was close to breaking her bones. "You can return as Wook or we can both die here now! Come back, girl, for Perin!" Beneath his feet, the fiery rock bubbled and hissed, longing to burn through his boots, he didn't know how long he could keep the force shield going...

"Come back, girl, for Perin..."

His words swarmed in her head, stinging her within her core, which fought desperately for control. Even as the rest of her felt like it was on fire, or was about to be, the inside of her the fire of hatred was hotter, threatening to burn her alive from within, the storm within roiling beyond control...

Except for one quiet place...

Wook blinked her eyes. “Perin,” she breathed, her voice hoarse. What was she doing? Perin wanted her alive… he wanted her to overcome her weaknesses… he wanted her

Tears welled up in her smoke-filled eyes, hissing and evaporating as they left her now burned and swollen cheek. “I’m sorry,” she choked, and forced herself to relax under the Sith’s durasteel-like grip.

"Good!" Letting up in his grip a bit, the Sith once again strode toward the opposite shore. "When you regain calm, you are aiding your allies in their mission, you are one less thing they need to worry about." He reached the bank and clambered up it, setting her down. "Remember that spot in your mind, remember the trigger, and remember the path. It will become easier in time, easy enough to reach it without your life in danger."

Tears rolled down Wook's cheek, stinging madly as they touched the burned and blistered flesh, as Wook fought to stop them, fought to stay strong. "Perin," she said, her voice choked with tears. "He's the trigger," she realized. The she shook her head. "But... then why did I attack him?" she asked quietly, shamed at her lack of control. She looked down. "Why are you helping me, Choc? It would be easier to just kill me," she said softly. She was grateful for his help, even with the price she paid, heavy as it was... but she had to know. Part of her had to know... know what Choc had planned for her.

She needed to know, once and for all, that the Sith had no intention of harming Perin, now, or in the future. She needed to know she wasn't going to become a weapon again, only under the control of another.

(by the way, Inuno, do you plan to remove the Force Inhibitor? Or not until later?)

He sensed her sadness. "Enough. Enough!" he ordered. "You must accept the sadness and move on, understood? It is hard. It will be hard. You will not be able to do it right off. Just know that you need to do it. Remember you must always move on."

That said, he jogged back across the river of lava a bit anticlimatically and retrieved their necessities and returned. "As for why I am helping you, it is complicated. You are not ready for the explanation."

As Choc went to get their things, Wook wiped away her tears angrily. She had told herself she did not deserve to cry, yet here she was, crying like a child. He was right... she needed to get past this, or she would be of no use to anyone. She stood and busied herself with checking the device on her hip which prevented signals from going to or from her fake eye, fighting to regain her composure before he returned.

When he did, she wondered at his answer to her question, or lack thereof. She studied him a long moment, her gaze hard, until she realized, she didn't really have a leg to stand on. How could she make demands, when it had been she, herself, who had harmed Perin? At this point, if Choc's purpose was to take her will away from her, as Velia had, would it really be any different from her current situation? Once realization of this set in, her face fell, and she lowered her eyes. "What next?" she asked, instead.

"Much the same thing with one difference," replied the sith. Again, he took her a little ways away from the gear and, after setting himself, removed the force inhibitor. He held onto it, however, determined to replace it if things got too rough or she managed to find the spark of resistance...

Wook's stomach clenched as he took her further from the gear. Over and over she told herself to stay strong, to think of Perin... but nothing could prepare her for the moment Choc removed the Force Inhibitor...

Power. She could feel it. Suddenly it flowed through her, and senses she didn't know had been reaching out began to sense everything... everything...

Sister... a soft voice whispered.

Wook's blood felt like ice water. Skeletal fingers pried into her mind, batting away her resistance with ease, and she began to feel the icy tendrils of her brother's mind latching on to her own, re-forming it...

"NO!" she screamed, pushing against the invasion with everything she had, but she couldn't keep the tendrils from slipping in... "Help... he's...." she choked out to Choc, but she was losing control quickly. Her eyes rolled back, and dark black veins began to appear in them, spreading slowly outward, even as she fell...

Perin.

Her memories of him flashed before her eyes... and melded with the memories of another, a young woman... Lacus...

It is a weakness that can be dealt with, her brother's voice said from within her mind as, more and more, he took control.

No... she objected, but her brother's mind was too powerful, and... and it felt... right...

We belong together, Sister. We are one...

The black veins had spread all throughout her eyes, the inky color turning them completely black, as the person who was Wook faded away... and a darker presence could be sensed in her place...

The black eyes stared up at Choc, and a dark voice choked its way from her lips... "Choquet D'var... I will kill you," the voice said, deep and gravelly...

A brilliant light pierced through the Sith's vision, though he did not know of the source.

"Thomas Hope, you will die as well," they snarled. The Sith snapped his eyes closed, the light refusing to dispel. Despite the dark force from without and within, Choc reached deep and found a smooth surface on the mind's diamond, the one cut facet-

And the force dissipated altogether from his mind, his soul, his being but for one stream concealed, inaccessable to him or any other.

Thomas, enraged to hear his name after so long, struck harder through Ora, but Choc pressed his hands to her forehead, allowing the force attacks to fill the void he created. "Lacus still weakens you, Thomas. You don't understand. But your sister will and she will become stronger because of it." The light vanished and with it, a major portion of Choc's strength.

Until Thomas attack again, more viciously than ever and the force void filled.

Before he knew what he was doing, Choc snapped the force inhibitor back around Ora's neck.

As the Force Inhibitor activated, the girl in Choc's arms lost consciousness, her eyes fluttering closed and her body going limp.

Within, darkness filled everything. Nothing moved... the storm had stilled. There was nothing... only icy blackness...

Except for one spark. A tiny little island, in the middle of nowhere. On that island stood a great, massive door.

And it was wide open. One set of footprints in the sand led inside...

(If Choc goes into her mind, don't have him go inside the doors... someone will meet him in front of the doors before he does.)

(Inuno, Choc doesn't have to go into her mind, btw. I have a plan for either alternative, if he reaches in to find her, or if he just leaves her unconscious. Basically, he's going to be told to let her find her own way out. Her mind has to re-build itself after being torn in two. But if he does go in, there should be an interesting conversation...)

(He needs to recover. If she takes too long to wake up, he might go in again.)

Pulling a blanket out of his pack, Choc shoved it underneath the girl's head and leaned back on a rock next to her. His body thrummed with the excess force he had absorbed from her brother's attack and he knew if Tinder had not committed many of her memories to him before she died, he would not be alive now. She had been the light in his vision, the source of the name Thomas Hope.

Abruptly, he stood and stretched out his hands, concentrating with the force. Around his fingers, the dark side swirled and materialized in a grayish sheen. He focused harder, the cloak of force around each digit becoming flexible, almost clawlike-

(That's fine. Like I said, I have a plan for either alternative. I'm about to make two posts in succession...)

A little girl opened her eyes. She was in a dark corridor, with many walls and doors, a maze with pathways going off in every direction. It was scary, big, and everywhere she looked she could see horrible things. She hid behind a wall, and started to cry…

“There, now, Ora, it’ll be okay…” a woman’s voice said, and soft, gentle hands began to stroke her hair and rub her back. “I know it seems like the end of the world, but everything will work out, you’ll see,” the white-gowned woman soothed, and pulled the little girl into an embrace.

The little girl embraced her, sobbing and dirty, her arms a death grip. “I just want it to go away…” she sobbed.

Elisabeth stroked her hair as she held her. “I know, but I also know you are stronger than this. Sometimes we all get overwhelmed, but we just need to pick ourselves up and start over again," she said, her voice soft, but firm.

Ora wiped at her tears. “But how?” she sniffed. “What am I supposed to do?”

Elisabeth smiled down at her. “You just have to take the path. The rest of it will come to you,” she responded softly.

Ora blinked up at her. “How do I find it?” she asked, determined, working to dry her tears. If Elisabeth thought she was strong enough, then she wasn't going to disappoint her.

Elisabeth nodded, smiling. “That’s my girl. And you already know how to find it… I told you. What did I tell you about finding strength?” she asked, gazing at the child meaningfully.

The little girl’s eyes went wide as she remembered. “Through love! Through love we find strength!” she exclaimed, remembering suddenly her lessons from long ago...

Elisabeth’s smile brightened, as she stroked Ora’s cheek. “That’s right. And Ora? I love you, very much… and I always will,” she said, before she suddenly faded out of sight.

Ora swallowed hard as she left. She was alone. But… she knew the path. She stood up, her eyes still drawn to the spot where Elisabeth had just stood.

“I love you, too,” she said to the empty passageway…

Ora steeled herself to go down the path. Desperately, she focused… she focused on Elisabeth, she focused on Perin… she focused on Chris and Alda… on her best friend, R6. She walked down the passageway, not wanting to look into the open doors…

But she didn’t have a choice.

One by one the horrors surrounded her, as memory after memory flooded her mind. At one point she stumbled, falling to the floor, but scowling, she picked herself up and stood once more. “I’m not afraid of you!!!” the little girl screamed at the darkness. “I’m not gonna hide any more! Do your worst, and let’s get it over with, so I can move on!!”

The horrors obliged her. Ora did her best to stand as, in a group, the horrors descended upon her, filling her up, concealing her in a mist of blackness. She screamed.

Then the mist slowly absorbed into her, vanishing to reveal a grown woman in the little girl's place.

The woman opened her eyes. They were filled with anger, with hatred… they were cold.

But they were subdued.

“Through love I find strength,” she told herself, her voice flat, and continued to walk.

(Okay, Inuno, I'll leave it open there for you to post. If you want him to enter her mind again, fine. If not, also fine. My next post will have her waking up.)

It was working better than it ever had and he knew why. Ora's pain, the dark force that waved over him because of it, he was a sieve. Just as the voices crying out when the Death Star exploded flooded him with enough strength to heal, so had her pain given him focus.

The Sith focused and the force claws materialized again, detailed, seeming to grow right out his fingers. With a quick movement, he rammed his hand into the rock face next to him and drew it out just as easily, leaving five deep holes.

With a sigh, the Sith sat down next to the prone form. "Wake up, girl."

The girl on the ground stirred, opening her eyes. The blackness had receded from them, and she scowled as she slowly pushed herself up, fighting the urge to throw up. Every inch of her skin felt numb, except for the right half of her face, which burned for some reason she couldn't quite figure out at first.

Then she remembered.

Her left hand flew to the Force Inhibitor, her fingers questing over its surface, as though trying to convince herself it was still there. Once convinced, she took in her surroundings, gazing out at the river of lava as awareness slowly settled itself.

After a moment, her eyes turned back to Choc, cold and hard. She saw him in a new light now...

"How did you do it? How did you hold him off?" she asked, an almost wolfish glint in her eye. She wanted to learn...

"First, we cover the basics, girl." Choc settled himself next to her, passing over a bacta patch and motioned for her to tend to her face wound. "I assume in your Jedi training you learned of Resting Awareness?"

Wook's jaw clenched as she thought back to those days. "Sort of... I was never really good at it," she admitted, trying not to think of how many times Elisabeth had tried to explain and demonstrate it, only to have her Padawan gaze off into space, designing circuits in her head...

Raising an eyebrow, Choc studied her. "Uh huh." He well remembered his hour-lesson from three Jedi masters on the Republic flagship seven years ago and how dull it had been at times. "This is where you get better. Or else you won't progress." He reached out and tapped the stimulant drip. "And we won't always have these to rely on to keep you awake."

Wook gazed at the stimulant drip dispassionately. Her subconscious mind was not a place she wished to spend any length of time in. She nodded, and turned her eyes to Choc. "Will I need to reconnect to the Force?" she asked, her voice full of dread. Always before, she had been connected... she wasn't sure if one needed the Force to accomplish it or not.

"A small amount. It will take some time before you will be able to have the inhibitor off for that long but I did not say it would be easy."

(btw, Inuno, I've been screwing around with my characters again... Choc should sense a tiny bit of difference in her Force signature, when she finally gets the thing off. Her brother has been tainted with the Light Side when Ora attacked him from within, but I don't think she remembers it. It makes sense she would have some residual affect from her brother's mind sharing her own.)

Wook scowled. Of course. Well, the Force Inhibitor wasn't a weakness she wanted to hold on to, anyway. "Fine. What do I do first?" she asked curiously. Somehow, she doubted the words 'clear your mind, and let your inner core be filled with peace and light' would escape Choc's lips, though that was how she had been taught. Frankly, she wasn't convinced she would be able to accomplish that. She would rather take on her brother's mind again, than try to change the hatred and darkness within her into 'peace and light'. It just seemed easier.

"I think we should wait until later to begin." Choc dug into the packs, pointing with his other hand at the mining facilities up the rocky path nearby. "Best to get there, first."
