where the heck is jesus?
seriously, for such an important historical figure, why isn't there more nonbiblical evidence for His existence?

are there ANY nonbiblical accounts of christ's existence (or even of the existence of christianity) which date back from the time in which christ lived? most seem to be for around the end of the 1st century or the beginning of the second. the oldest i KNOW of dates back to 63 AD, but then again i haven't exactly looked too deep into the topic.

my personal belief is that christ DID exist, but was by no means divine. this is irrelivant, because although i will post, i won't edit posts or anything like that.

Christians: prove that christ existed through historical documents. if you can, prove that He was divine through nonchristian writings (any reputable romans see christ healing lepers?)

Nonchristians: prove that christ did not exist, or if he did, that there is no nonbiblical evidence of divinity.

I am god. Just kidding.

Ps: For that Seamus thing, I think i could make up a better religion than that. Maybe the Witness of the Giant Ice Cube.

Or you could join The Church of the Holy Fonz from Family Guy. At least Peter made an effort for that one. This Seamus thing sounds far fetched. As an atheist, I do believe that Jesus existed but that he wasn't the Son of God. I'd have to do research on if he existed in a non-biblical way, but I'm too busy with school stuff at the moment. Once I get that stuff taken care of, I'll get on it.

Oh, and the Seamus thing doesn't exist. I looked it up on Google.

haha i just figured out that "milo" changed all of the things we posted on his forum...funny...

also, i noticed that the other one (something of earth, i believe) also changed his comments, meaning that either seamusism is having an internal struggle (milo vs whatshisname) or they're the same person...

TheBratMan: As I expressed in the other thread, I AM GOD. Not you. so there.

nyah nyah

anywho...i looked it up on google to. "seamus heaney" is a poet, and that's all that i could find when i typed in "the book of seamus". sad. the guy(s?) should have AT LEAST made a website for his made up religion. even the frickin' SCIENTOLOGISTS did that...

and the pastafarians...GO FSM...and the cthuluites.

i should change this forum to 'who thinks 'milo' and his alter-egos should be banned...

Or a better name: Who the Hell is Milo. He must have a main account.

THIS IS NOT FUNNY MILO (IF THAT IS YOUR REAL), QUITE IT WITH POSTING THIS JUNK. I AM GETTING SICK OF IT. EVERYONE IS GETTING SICK OF IT. JUST QUITE IT.

Here is a question i want you to answer: What country do you live in. (Oh and the reason why i am calling you Milo not Harold, is because i believe that you and Harold are the same person).

Come on answer.

I live in the U.S. Oh, and Toby is the name of my sister's dog. He's a brat sometimes. Yeah, Seamus Heaney was a poet. He translated the edition of Beowulf that I read for a class.

sorry it took so long for me to delete harold/milo's post

Hey, it's okay. I'm just glad they've both stopped spamming stuff.

yup. BM and I (mostly him) talked to him more-or-less rationally about it. i think he would have deleted it anyway though...aparently seamusism is going through some sort of internal struggle.

Patrick, you spoke to soon...

Milo, just stop it.

Nobody cares about the Book of Seamus. Stop posting it.

Yeah, but they don't have to post the Book of Seamus in every dang forum. That's just ridiculous.
11/01/2007 #19
Patrick of Nazareth
eek. you can speak on this forum, as long as you do not spam it.
11/01/2007 #20
BubblyShell22
Exactly. Spamming means posting The Book of Seamus on every forum in the Bible section. This has happened and I don't like it. Also, don't try to convert those who have their own beliefs. Just leave them alone and do your own thing.

But if you block me for no reason, i will become a martyr

a "martyr"? wow, you have some pretty warped perspectives...although i think that most people have plenty of reason to block you, since you and your alter-egos have been spamming like crazy...

also, if you deny that milo is an alter-ego (or was? is he "dead"?) then you have been harassing someone ("milo must die") which is sort of illegal which is another reason to block you. so whether or not you are milo/harold, there is still very good reason to block you.

but i won't. because i'm lazy.

Jake of Fire must now be punished, Rebecca. There will be justice for Milo's death, even if he was a member of your twisted version of Seamus' Church.
11/07/2007 #28
BubblyShell22
Oh, there's an untwisted version? I didn't know that. I thought the whole thing was twisted.

yeah, pretty much. it's just weirdness...although bizarrely enough it's pretty interesting...
