magic-queen13Topic: Rules (ROLEPLAYING DO'S AND DON'TS) ok...these are all basic rules that everyone can followDON'TS Make your character's bio a one sentance biography. They're boring, it's a waste of a page, and most of the time, it's always the usual thing. 'My parents were murdered by some stranger, I'm all emo now and want to kill the person who done it, etc.' Those types of biographies are used WAY to much, and people are really sick of them--especially if it contains poor grammar. They are DULL. Control Other Roleplayers Characters I think this one is just kind of obvious to every one who read the title. No one likes it when their character is suddenly being controled be another roleplayer without their consent. DO'S Be creative, make it longer and into more detail. Most people like to read who your character is and what their past was like. If the parents must be murdered, make up a good reason WHY they were assassinated. Get into the depth of your character, get people to be able to understand what has happened to make then act they way they do. The hardships and good moments of your characters life. ------------- These are simple rules and can easliy be followed, im just saying make the RPG more interesting and spellcheck your posts so you can edit it when you have grammer or spelling mistakes...im not trying to be mean this is just the basics of every RPG and im just saying it. | #1 Oct 28th 2007, 7:33am . NeoGreyWolfOk, i see a couple of things wrong...you left off:No god modding! Nothings worse than when your trying to beat someone up and you have them "dodging this" and "avoiding that". It makes it impossible to have any fun when your fighting ;) No killing Without good reason at least...if someone really does something that screws up the RP, then maybe killing them will be a last resort. But killing someone means a new character needs to be made by that person and i personally hate making multiple chars for one RP just b/c some douche killed me for stealing his shoe or something retarded like that. I mean, these are just rules i usually implament on my own RP's with other sites, but this one seems fairly big and seems to be progressing nicely, so add them if you wish. | #9 Dec 19th 2007, 10:50am

NeoGreyWolfThats true, and it will be in their char description. So thats different. But a wizard or seomthing thats not profeccient in fighting shouldnt be dodgiing everything a warrior or something throws at em ;)| #11 Dec 19th 2007, 1:06pm
