Alright, sure, 85% of fans really are not found of good ol' Captain Cardboard, because everyone loves the Buffy/Angel relationship, but is it really Riley's concern?

It's not his fault that he was written in as the loveable, commando army man, filling Angel's capcity in a humanising quality - literally.

I just feel Riley deserves more credit where it's due.

I felt Riley was a dynamic character, with alot of light and shade in himself. I think he was a fantastic match for Buffy, because he has lot in common with her. I feel that they have connecting personalities.

That's just my random garble.

The main point of this is to actually have a thread dedicated to Riley.

Because Captain Cardboard deserves a salute.

I liked Riley...but not with Buffy and not because I was at the time Buffy/Angel fan...I just felt that he came in to the sceen as a potential love interest to soon. They shuld start as freinds first or somthing.

And you are right there isn't any boards..or atleast not where I was looking.

I can understand why people don't like the relationship between Buffy and Riley, because it really did hapen quite fast. I agree that they could have made them just friends for a longer period of time.
