Ikusa sighed as he stood up. "Kirai is pretty nervous around Shinkan....I wonder why...." He asked as he brushed himself off.

Shinkan nodded holding out a rose to her.

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. It was nice to meet you just shizuka." he said with a wink. "The woman is probably nervous because I controll her career."

Ikusa cocked his eyebrow. 'Why's she bowing all of the sudden? She did it to me as well....maybe she's becoming more mature....' He thought.

Now Ikusa was getting a bit irritated. "Watch it, Shinkan." He growled.

Shizuka blushed a bit as she took the rose. "Thank you." Shizuka said with a smile. "And it's Shizuka."

(I know and the Bleach had more people. O.o)

Shinkan arched an eyebrow.

"Is it so wrong to greet a young lady properly? I would have done the same for the other woman though I believe that she could not hear me right now... The world of the rich is a sophisticated one. It was not to mean anything. I suppose this is your girlfriend then of whom you spoke?"

"I'm still wondering where that rose came from?" Ryuk asked confused.

"It's magic, he must be a witch." Zakuro said.

Zakuro walked downstairs to the kitchen as Ryuk followed. "Really can't a guy sleep without any interruptions?" Ed asked as he walked out of his room, rubbing his eyes.

Shinkan smiled at Ikusa warmly.

"Well I wish your relationship all the best!" he chimed as Reiki awoke.

"W-Wha... I dreamt I was going to be rich..."

"Ah you're awake. I'm sorry but I didn't get your first name..." Shinkan said as he helped her up and bowed to her. "Mine is Shinkan, it's a pleasure to get to know you." he gave her another rose and smirked. Reiki turned red.

"Oh my! Thank you! M-Mine's Reiki... But a lot of people call me Kirai..."

"Do you mind if I call you such a beautiful name as Reiki?"

"N-Not at all..."

Zakuro let out a yell as Shizuka ran down to the kitchen. "Zakuro what's wrong?" Shizuka asked worried.

"There's no more of my food, I'll starve!" Zakuro said pouting in front of an empty cabinet.

"Really, I though you had your fill eating my head!" Ryuk sand angrily.

"Don't worry Zakuro, I'll just go to the pet store and buy some more." Shizuka said as she went upstairs to get dressed.

Ikusa walked down and looked at Zakuro. "You really don't have to over react, Zakuro. You could've just came up and asked us to get you food." He said. "And Ryuk, stop complaining. It's getting on my nerves." He growled as he sat down.

Shinkan gave a small gasp as he went down into the kitchen also.

"Okay that's it..." he said walking out of the kitchen. "Who wants to eat out for a nice breakfast?" he called.

"I'll be back soon." Shizuka said as she went down the stairs and out the door.

"Bring back tuna and milk mix!" Zakuro yelled from the window.

"Oooh! I'd love to come!" called Reiki as she ran down the stairs.

"Yup, but... Shinkan woke me up..." she turned pink. "He's such a gentleman. Though sadly I am taken..."

Shizuka walked out of the pet store with a bag full of cat food. "This should at least last a month or two." Shizuka said with a smile. She heard a meow from and alley as she came to a halt. The kitten let out another meow as Shizuka walked to it. She pulled out a can of food, opened it and gave it to the kitten. "Zakuro should be able to live with one less can." Shizuka said as she stood up. "I'll see you aro--" Shizuka stopped as she was hit in the back of the neck collapsing on the ground. A man laughing as the kitten ran off.

"Got you." The man said as he picked up Shizuka and walked away in the darkness of the alley.

"I hope nothing happens like last time." Zakuro said as she waited by the window.

(I'm so evil...but this is only part one of my plan -evil laughter- So no one come to the rescue yet...)

Ikusa sighed as he looked at the clock. 'might as well go find her. It has been about fifteen minutes...' He thought as he got up and walked out the door.

"She's not back. This goes against my better judgement but I think we should go look for her."

Ikusa walked into the town and looked around. 'Hmmm....this place as sure fluorished since we stopped the serpent attacks...' He thought as he continued to look around for Shizuka. 'She said she was getting food, so I should check around the pet store.' He thought as he started running.

Shizuka woke up in a dark room, she tried to move her arms. "What the?" Shizuka asked as she noticed her arms were bound to the wall by a thick rope.

"So...you're finally awake." The man said with a laugh. "You've heard of Barry the Chopper right?"

"You're gonna tell me you're him?" Shizuka said focusing on the rope.

"No, I'm his brother, Larry.....and I've had my eyes on you." Larry said with a grin.

"W-What are you going to do with me?" Shizuka asked now freaked out.

"I'm just gonna have my way with you and then get rid of the evidence." Larry laughed.

(Barry had a brother? O.o)

Shinkan searched around the street which the store was on and soon ran into Ikusa.

"You find her?"

"No...." He replied as he looked at Shinkan.

Ikusa stopped as he saw a bag of the milk and tuna mix on the ground near an alley. He growled as he ran down the alley and looked at the ground as footsteps were on the ground, seemingly weighted down by another weight that led to a door. He kicked it open and walked in. "Shizuka!" He called as he looked around.

"G-Get away.." Shizuka said terrified as Larry licked her neck, she let out a scream as Larry frowned.

"You awfully loud." Larry said. "We'll have to do something about that." Larry said as he reached for cloth.

"Stay away!" Shizuka cried out as she summoned the white barrier and blasted Larry back.

(I have no idea where this came from...I think it was.......the NEWS!)

Ikusa ran to the light as he saw a man fly back. Ikusa saw Shizuka and cut the ropes. "Are you alright, Shizuka?" He asked, but cringed as Larry cut down on his back. He turned around, created a wind blade and cut at Larry.

Shinkan ran over to Shizuka.

"Stay back and let him fight. I'll stay here to make sure that guy doesn't come for you." he said as he stood in front of her.

Ikusa growled as he stepped too close for Larry to attack and cut at his arm, slicing it off with one quick motion.

"Damn it! You chose a great moment to wake me up Ryuk!" Ed yelled as he ran around town.

"Don't fuss, I can sense her from here." Ryuk said as he slithered though the alley.

"Shizuka!" Ed called out as he looked around.

"Ikusa! He's going to break your guard on your right!"

Ikusa ducked and spun on his heel, dragging his blade on the ground. Larry jumped up, But Ikusa brought him back down by his head, slamming it into the ground as he shoved his sword into his back.

Shinkan cringed as he watched this.

"Are you okay Shizuka-san?" he asked. "I find it embarassing to say but I don't like to fight or watch fighting for that matter. Talking to you might take my mind off it."

Ikusa stood up straight as he made sure he was dead. "Alright, you're safe now, Shizuka." He said with a smile as the wind blade disappeared.

Shizuka kept quiet, falling to her knees and crying as Ed barged into the room. "Shizuka!" Ed said as he looked around and ran to Shizuka. "What the hell happened?" Ed asked as Shizuka cried.

"I....I-I...was...so scared. So scared." Shizuka said trying to keep calm. "I-I didn't know if anyone would save me."

Ikusa knelt down to her and hugged her. "I said I wouldn't let anything happen to you, Shizuka, and you're safe now." He said reassuringly.

"Not with that kind of confidence." Ed said looking at Shinkan. Shizuka cried as she hugged Ikusa.

"It's always the innocent ones." Ryuk said with a sigh.

"Well I'd like to see what you'd have done in my position!!?!? How was I supposed to help Asakura-chan when she had CANCER!? Answer me that!?"

Ikusa sighed as he looked at Ryuk. "That's true, but they always have someone ot protect them." He said as he patted Shizuka's back lightly. "Just relax, Shizuka." He said calmly. "Nothing's going to happen to you now."
