Shinkan kicked the wall and sat on the floor.

"Sorry Ed... I freaked out a little... Asakura-chan was my fiance. We were engaged through our parents at the age of ten. Then I really started to like her..."

Ikusa looked to Shinkan. "....I know how that is, Shinkan..." He said.

Shinkan looked at him.

"It's funny how you had a wife and yet you've adjusted to Shizuka so fast." Ryuk said with a laugh. "So have you gone further with Shizuka than that late wife of yours?"

"Ikusa had a wife?" Ed asked confused.

He sighed. "About three years ago, I was married, but my wife was killed. But that told me I just need to be able to protect the ones I love." He told him, looking down. He looked at Ryuk as he made that comment. "I am not at liberty to tell...."

Shinkan glared at Ryuk.

"I bet you two barely did anything, that's why she was so easily replaced by Shizuka." Ryuk said floating around Ed.

"That's kinda sad." Ed said looking away.

Ikusa used the wind to send Ryuk to the ground. "If you ever talk about Naomi that way again, it's not going to be a happy end." He growled, a dark look on his face.

Shinkan stood up with a dark look on his face.

"You, dragon, are making your life pretty short. You shouldn't talk about people who're that close to you so nonchalantly!"

Ryuk laughed as he floated higher. "Looks like I hit a nerve or two." Ryuk laughed.

Ikusa growled angrily before sighing. "Just drop it." He said as he walked out.

Shinkan looked annoyed as the rest of them caught up with Ikusa.

"Can I talk to you?" he asked.

Ikusa nodded. "Yeah, she saved Shizuka from a dealy disease...why?" He asked.

Shinkan sighed.

"Asakura-chan is still alive, but she's just connected to some machine waiting to die... The doctors said that no-one could save her... She's going to die becuse they're going to take her off life support in a couple of days."

Ed rested Shizuka on the couch and sighed. "What happened?" Zakuro asked as Ryuk floated to her.

"I'll tell ya later." Ryuk said.

Ikusa sighed. "he can save her. Trust me. She's extremely good." He said as they walked in. Ikusa sat on the couch and looked up at the ceiling.

Ed sighed as he looked at Shizuka. "She's still trembling." Ed said as Shizuka slept.

"I don't blame her." Zakuro said.

Ikusa looked at her and had a sad look on his face. "It must've been horrible for her...." He said as he placed his hand on her shoulder.

"In a way it's our fault." Ed said looking down.

"How's that?" Ryuk asked confused.

"One of us should have went with her." Ed said as he looked at Shizuka. "We could've protected her."

Ikusa looked at him. "We didn't know anything was going to happen, Ed. People like that freak are all around. What matters is she's safe now and he's gone." Ikusa said, trying his best to cheer Ed up.

(Ganbare Silver-kun!(not sure if that's how you spell it. -sweat drop- Well, I shouldn't be saying anything my algebra grades suck too. TT_TT I was thinking about going to after school tutoring...but I just don't understand inequality equations.....TT_TT I've never been very smart in the math department......I gotta try harder too. So I'm taking a day off from the RP.....besides Silver-kun is needed too. And what's today and tomorrow? It'll fly by like nothing.)
