Oh, in Lost, Jate and Skate are like Jack and Kate or Sawyer and Kate all smooshed together and how people refer to the two main ships in Lost. And now in BK we have Meldoblame and Melocio and stuff, and that's kind of like Jate and Skate but not. XD

Name combining=fun way to, one, type faster and, two, make people think we've paired up Rambari and Ladekahn.

My favorites are LyudexXelha, XelhaxKalas, LyudexOC, GibarixSavyna, MizutixKee, and I liked LadekahnxCorellia until I figured out how much older she is, haha.

My favorite combined names are Mizukee, Meldoblame, Palololo/Lololo, and Gibvyna because it sounds like you're just trying to give him a girl name (like, if people called me Brendo to make me a guy. -hopes she didn't earn herself a new nickname-)

Ooh. Like SasuSaku, NaruHina, or ShikaTema (my Naruto ships, they're Sasuke/Sakura, Naruto/Hinata, and Shikamaru/Temari, respectively).

The best still goes to Golden Sun fandom, though, they do the pairings by elements and such. Ivan and Sheba, the two Wind Adepts is Windshipping, then there's Flameshipping, Steamshipping, Valeshipping [Isaac/Jenna], Mudshipping [oddly enough, refers to Isaac/Mia but not Felix/Mia or Felix/Piers, and whatever Alex/Mia is called... Imilshipping? And then there's Felix/Sheba, which lacks a cool name for some reason.]

But for the BK fandom I prefer the Harry Potter style of ships, an abreviation, like in HxG (*gag*) or HxHr (*double gag*) or LxT (Love!). Because KxX, GxS, LxMe, etc. sounds cooler and is shorter. The main problem would be that we'd need a standard set of abreviations. Obviously Xelha is the only X, but we have multiple M's and such. That might be hard, let me try...

With pairings, I just put their names and slashes... Like Kalas/Xelha... But I know that in Japanese they do squish the names together. Kalas/Xelha is "KalaXelha," Lyude/Kalas is "LyuKala," and Kalas/Melodia is "KalaMiro." Funny that all of those are Kalas pairings. o_o I know that there is a Gibari/Savyna one, but I don't remember what it's called.

Oh, and Alex/Mia IS Imilshipping. Felix/Sheba is Lighthouseshipping. I'm pretty sure that there are names for Felix/Piers and Felix/Mia, but I'm not into Golden Sun fanfiction much anymore. I used to be such a hardcore Mudshipper, though.

I've heard of Mudshipping before, but I never knew what it meant. I used to think it was a paring that few people liked or that was just disgusting (MutatedGeldoxRodolfoxLyude, for example), haha.

I just have a bunch I don't like- Imilshipping [because Alex is a bastard], Mushipping [because it seems weird to me], Jenna/Sheba [because it's fanservice], Flameshipping [because it gets old, fast], Garet/Ivan [because it disturbs me] and anything with Kraden.

I'll have to get back to you on exactly what I think of the GS relationship chart. Mainly I can't make up my mind between Garet/Mia, Felix/Mia, Felix/Sheba, and Ivan/Sheba. But Isaac/Jenna is good. And Felix/Piers isn't bad, either.

I like Mudshipping... but only because I don't like Mia with Garet and despise Isaac with Jenna. I'm okay with Windshipping, Lighthouseshipping, and Imilshipping. The rest don't matter to me.

Honestly, I like the idea of Piers/Isaac, despite absolutely no cannon backing, I really think it could work. I see Ivan definatly liking Sheba but I see Sheba as more the type to go for Felix. Whether I like Lighthouseshipping or Softshipping seems to depend on my mood. Steamshipping is good as long as Garet isn't a complete idiot. I definatly like Valeshipping for cannon, but I'm really fonder of Piers/Isaac.

I've gotten to the point where I don't like any of the Golden Sun pairings. Even Mudshipping, my "OTP." All of it seems so forced. Okay, maybe not Lighthouseshipping, but everything else seems more like a whim of the author than a compatible romantic couple.
