Delta leapt into the air again as Shizuru appeared, with a great big wolf thing. Trying to hide his nervousness of the wolf, he smiled. "Miss Fujino, last time I checked I did not have wings and won't have any until I'm fully fledged, which I'm not. Maybe you where thinking of that Dragon spawn Kirric?" He continued thinking to himself. If I had wings I wouldn't have crashed into the lake when we fought
The red eyed graceful vampire titled her chin with her index finger, her infamous thinking voice. "Ara... Is that so?" Shizuru pouted, before she speak. "I think... Vampire has wings?" Shizuru's fangs immediately popped out, her red eyes sparkling. Her black bat-like wings appeared. "Fujino-clan's secret." She smiled mischeviously.
Elyon's widened as Shizuru's bat wings popped out from her back. She drew back some but then came closer. "I don't have these," she murmured.
Delta smiled at this "I would have thought that secrets were meant to be kept?" he absent mindedly fingered his trans stone
(Today is my bday! And... Welcome to the FP!)
(brill! Happy birthday!!!) Delta gazed out over the lake, before crouching down picking up a flat roundish stone and sent it skimming across the surface ((.))((.))((.))((.))((.))((.))((.))((.))((!)) Hmm eight bounces.
Django picked up a stone, flinged across the pond, and ran across the pond to catch it. "I told you i was fast."
Delta said nothing about Djangos obvious speed, but skimmed another stone across the lake
Unfortunately he stoped right in the middle of the lake. "Why do I have a sudden sinking felling?"
Delta raised his eyebrows as Django started sinking "Hate to have to point out the obvious but you're still on the lake- I'd get moving if I were you"
"I cant run. Somethings wraped around my legs." Django said, sinking faster.
"Shizuki-kun!" She called, and a big blue Eyrie leapt. "Having a guardian is good, sometime." The Eyrie grabbed Django, and bought him, as it flew a meter away from water. "Ah."
Django sat up looking like a drowned rat. "Aw man they destroyed my shoes. They were specily designed to resist speed."
Elyon snickered at the look on Django's face; he appeared still stunned by the incident. "You look so stupid," she laughed. She burst out laughing, leaning over and clutching her stomach. Tears rolled down the sides of her face. "At least you're safe. What was that anyway?"
Delta smiled in amusement at the sodden Django, before grinning and trying to hold back the laughter, then failing and bursting out in side splitting gales of laughter He caught sight of the looks the others were giving him and tried to put a more succesful cap on his amusement "Sorry, it's just so comical. Mind you when i was in the lake nothing tried to hold onto me. Maybe" Detla paused to hold back another wave of amusement "Maybe you caught a crab"
"That crab must have been very big then. Now then I need new shoes. They make me look taller other then being friction proof." He said. Standing up he was about a foot shorter then he was before.
"I think you look just fine," Elyon murmured. She looked away, blushing.
"What? Do I look silly when im short? I forgot. My shoes dont make me taller, they make me older. I must be like 9 now. Help me!"
"No! No...it's not like that at all." Elyon smiled. "You look like you always do, but just a few inches shorter."
"If thats so then why are you taller then me?" Django said looking up at Elyon.
Elyon looked down at him, blushing. "You're fine. Why does it bother you?"
"Im like 9 years old right now, i look like I was just drowned, and i dont know how fast im gonna run if i try. Plus im shorter then everybody." Django whined.
"Oh...calm down." Elyon bent down on one knee and wrapped her arms around his short self, hugging him.
Django turned pure red as he was being hugged. "I feel better. I think im gonna go repare my shoes now." Django ran a little to fast and smashed straight into the ground. "OW!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I need to work on my speed more often."
"Be careful at least." Elyon snickered as he rose to the ground. "You're hazardous when you're whiny."
"Thats not funny. Can you carry me back to the dorms?I need to get to my other pair of shoes."
Elyon nodded. "Sure. Come on." She knelt back down on the ground and gathered him up in her arms. (Do we swich to the Dorms thread?)
"The Dorms?" Delta paused thinking hard "Ok then"
(yea) "This is humiliating but i have no choice."
Elyon ran from the forest and to the edge of the lake. Tears of blood covered her face; blood from another soul stained her hands. She breathed hard as she knelt down. She saw her reflection. The monster she had feared was right there in front of her. "NO!" She slapped at the water angrily and dropped down onto the ground. Elyon sobbed. "I don't want to be a monster...I don't want to be a monster..." Elyon waded into the water, diving down deep. Maybe this way she wouldn't be a burden...or a monster. How many people would she kill before her other side's hunger was satisfied? The water entered her lungs. This time she accepted it. This time she wanted to die.
"What makes you think I would let this happen twice?" Django said pulling elyon out of the water. "It wasnt your fault. You were hungry."
Elyon coughed the water from her lungs. She glared at Django. As much as she liked him, he didn't understand. "I--don't--care," she hissed, the vampire in her showing itself. She grabbed him by the collar and pulled him to her eye level. "Do you think I want to kill innocent people? That's what a MONSTER does. I am not gonna let myself lose control like I did..." She remembered that night. So hungry...she had been so hungry...and she had killed everyone. Elyon set Django back on the ground, turning away. She sobbed silently. "I don't want to be a monster."
Django pulled his cloak off and placed it on Elyon. "Well...I know one way to null your need to feed but its dangerous. We would have to seperate your 2 energys and then destroy your vampiric side."
"I can't destroy it, Django. That's the thing. If I destroy it, it would be destroying half of my soul." She wiped away her bloody tears and turned to look at him. "Once a dhampir, always a dhampir. Even if I did do that, I proabably wouldn't remember you or anyone else..." Elyon shivered, pulling his cloak around herself. She smiled sadly up at him. "Heh...you're the only person who's ever been nice to me."
"Well that ideas out. We'll figure out a soultion later. Until then let get you back to the dorms to get you fixed up." Django said scoping Elyon up bridal style. "Its the only way to fly." He then sprouted large wire thin wings.
Elyon blushed and laid her head against him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Thank you," she said softly. She kissed his cheek.
Django blushed a bright red before finnaly takeing off. "Its funny. Everytime I fish you out of a lake, you look so innocent. Like a wounded animal." He grinned swooping down to the dorms. (to the dorms?)
Elyon stood by the side of the lake. She kneeled down and watched her red eyes fade into a red-amber. "Were those words true?" she asked the silence. "Did you even care? I gave you my heart. You tore it apart." She stood. She would no longer be an innocent, stupid child. "I will be more." She stepped into the water and looked up into the eyes of the Goddess. She closed her eyes and smiled. "Dear Goddess, I have been faithful to you. I am not a full night blood, but take me. I am yours." Elyon stepped farther down into the water. She kept walking until she was fully under. Water filled her lungs and choked her. She closed her eyes and allowed Death to find her. It would not be long. Soon her body was floating lifelessly at the bottom of the lake.
A battered Django landed at the lake side trying to straighten out his senses. "Crap. He hit me to hard! I cant sense life force well now but I know its close. Hello?!!" He looked around and started to wash the blood of his wing and back.
Goddess...Goddess... A whisper resonated around her body in the water. Her hair swirled gently around her. Her dead arm twitched; a soft glow surrounded her. I am yours...I am yours... Her eyes flew open and her hair grew longer. Her eyes turned a deep gold. Her dead body filled with a new life. Allow me to be reborn...as the night blood.
Django noticed the water was glowing a faint golden color. "What in the?"
She crawled little by little out of the water. She reached the shore and whammed a clawed hand into the ground and pulled herself onto the sand. Her breaths were soft; she kneeled on the ground, her silver hair dripping down around her. Her head was bowed.
"Woaw...Reminds me of something from a movie. You ok?" He looked at the girl.
What's that? A voice... She turned her head slowly upwards, her wet hair falling to the sides of her face. "Yes," Elyon whispered.
"You shure? You dont look so good." He reached his hand out to her.
She took his hand without question, his skin warm against her cold flesh. But her hand slipped from his grip and she fell to her knees, clutching her stomach. She vomited water and the remnants of food into the lake. It disappeared in the moon's light. She sat, looking at the lake blankly. She looked at the boy above her and cocked her head to the side. She wiped the vomit from her face. "I recall a name before...a name I might have been called. Elyon, I think it was..."
Djangos expression turned pale. "Wait...You're Elyon? Oh lordy what happened?" He stared at her, still trying to correct his broken wings.
