(Haha, Thorn isn't the type of person for blackmailing. But she is a bit creepy eh?

Thorn: *pulls out pistol* I dare you to say that again.

Me: *snaps fingers, freezing Thorn solid* I said, you're a bit creepy. Happy?

Thorn: *mutters something unaudible*)

"I don't know." Pit replied, also frowning. "Is a piece missing?"

Thorn continued her watching, silently brushing one of her dreadlocks out of her face.

Alison looked at her necklace and shook her head, "nope it's all okay... it should be working though."

Pit frowned, looking at his ring, then Alison's necklace. He didn't know if his idea would work, and he figured Alison would find it foolish. "I don't know why it isn't working then."

Thorn raised an eyebrow slightly. "Hmm...interesting." She whispered to herself.

Alison frowned, "oh well...... that's okay."

"Not really." Pit replied, also frowning. He took of his chain, his legs returning to normal. "Here, lets see if this get's it back." He held it out in his hand for her to take.

Alison shook her head, "I can't take that... not from you." she said softly.

"Just take it." Pit said, not pulling his hand back. "You're faster than me anyways." He didn't notice it, but there was the faint outline of a skeletal structure of wings appearing on his back.

Alison smiled softly as she took it, "thank you Pit." she said as she placed it on and her legs turned into fins.

Pit smiled, suddenly went limp for a while, then pushed himself upright again. "Whoah...that was really weird." He said as the feathers grew out on his wings. "Was I dreaming?" He looked around, and said. "Oh, I guess not. How're you feeling Alison?"

Thorn continued to watch, a slightly amused expression on her face. "Interesting..." she said in a whisper to herself.

Alison nodded, "I'm okay... what about you? Are you okay?"

"Yep." Pit replied with a nod. He coughed up a little water, but grinned. "Yeah, I'm fine. So, what now?"

Thorn walked out of the pool room, thinking and muttering to herself.

"IL don't know... want to check on Painweaver and Chimes?"

Pit sighed. "It's a plan, b...but I can't get near Chimes." He grimaced, but then he got an idea. He closed his eyes temporarily, and soon Riyo materialized in the room.

"Yes?" He asked.

"Riyo, turn me temporarily into a shadow being."

"WHAT?!"

Alison also shouted out, "WHAT?!"

"You can't be serious!" Riyo shouted. Pit only nodded.

"I am. I'll live through it. Besides, I've got to see them sometime right?"

(Should I turn him into something else? If he even gets turned?)

(... hm... I'm not sure. I can't think of anything else he could change into at the moment.)

Alison nodded in agreement, "Pit has a point," she said.

(Haha, I've already got an idea. Should he?)

"But I've never done this before!" riyo replied. "What if I screw up?"

"It'll be reversable." Pit replied, now standing on the water.

(Sure.)

Alison watched.

(Ok!)

Riyo sighed and nodded. "Ok." He turned into a mass of shadows, and flew straight at Pit, entering his body. Pit gasped and became shrouded in shadows. He seemed to lift higher into the air. He wasn't even visible through the shadows.

Alison stayed quiet and kept watching.

Suddenly, Riyo rematerialized on the pool room floor, lying flat on his back and breathing heavily. The shadows around Pit vanished, but not a shadow version of the archangel dropped. Something around Thorn's size, and light blue fell into the pool with a splash, soon resurfacing. Pit wasn't a shadow being at all; he was a light blue and silver, anthro chameleon.

(Were you expecting that?)

(No I wasn't... *Holds back laughter at the sudden change*)

Alison's eyes were wide, her mouth hung slightly open.

Pit looked around, then saw what'd happened to him in his reflection. "AH! WHAT THE HECK?!" Riyo sat up and stared wide eyed at his friend.

"I warned you!"

"I know!" There was a pause, then Pit said, feeling the horn on the front of his head. "Hey, this is pretty cool actually." Riyo just stared at him.

(If you know what Espio looks like, then Pit is exactly like that, only he's light blue, and his horn is silver instead of goldish yellow.)

(OMG!! I love Espio!! *Does a fangirl scream and faints*)

Alison kept staring, "wow..." was all she could say.

(He looks soooo cool! :D YAY FOR ESPIO! :D )

Pit looked around, just as Thorn entered the pool room again. She wandered over, looked at Pit with shock, and blurted. "I didn't know Uncle Espio had kids."

Alison coughed to cover up her laugh. "Um Thorn, that's not Espio's kid. That's Pit. Riyo's experiment of changing him into a shadow being went wrong."

(Hey Healing, should I bring in Shadow as a teacher? Just for something random to do)

Pit actually laughed right out. Thorn raised an eyebrow. "Hmm, interesting. Well, to put it bluntly, Pit, you look good as an anthro." She smirked when Riyo fell into the pool out of shock from what she said. Pit was laughing even harder now. Thorn looked at Alison. "I didn't think Espio had kids anyway, but you never know eh?"

"Yep you never know," said Alison with a large grin on her face.

(that'd be awesome... but what would he teach? Gym?)

Thorn smiled, just as her name got called over the intercom. "Thorn the Echidna to the office please. Thorn to the office." The echidna groaned.

"Uh oh...what now? Catch you later guys." And with that, she skated off using her jet shoes. Pit watched her leave.

"I wonder what that was about?" He said, looking at Alison. "Any ideas?"

"No but I've got a feeling that it has to do something with family," remarked Alison as she looked around. "Off we go to see Chimes and painweaver?"

Pit nodded. "Sounds like a plan." Riyo was still shocked that Thorn thought Pit was a good looking lizard. "Let's go."

"Okay we're off! To the dorms!" cheered Alison as she rushed off.

The two boys clambered out of the pool, and chased after Alison. Pit was still grinning, and Riyo was still wondering how he'd managed to turn his best friend into a chameleon.
