Topic: Human tribal area

The human tribal area, a refuge where the stone age barbaric semi senteints humans havebeen put into reserves.Long ago the humnas weere forced here by bothe Fell and Harbringer forces.It is a great open plain in whch many aincent ruins are situiated and where nomadic human tribes roam around.The humans seem to have once followed a mighty and terrible being called the warbinger, but that is only told in the ruins...

Erpheon, body cloaked by a black cape, headed towards the set of ancient structures. There he saw a different people from the Harbinger and the Fell; they were shorter, yet their features would have been clearer, much more defined (like Aie) were they not covered in filth. Perhaps these were the 'humans' the runes near the 'Master's' seal spoke of.

Hmph. 'Master'... Erpheon was sick of kneeling down before a gate. But he needed the 'Master' arisen. He needed...

Erpheon held out a pendant before him. It was beautifully carved, shaped in the likeness of a bird spreading its wings. "One down," he murmured evilly to himself.

Drake smikred as he walked through the plain. "So, the fire key is here."

(Wow, I think we're reading each other's minds! Well, since people are known to use fire as a tool...)

"The Harbinger and the Fell," Erpheon spoke in a loud voice to the surrounding humans, "have for long deprived you of your lands. They pushed you away, maltreated you, abused you, and denied you the power you all deserve. Now, will you all stay idle like little children, or will you fight? Fight for Me! Fight for me, and take back what is rightfully yours! So what say you? Fight!"

"Hmph," Erpheon smirked as some men began to roar in agreement. "Easy to bend to my will. Truth or not, I don't care. As long as these humans shall serve my purpose."

tHe human shoped up and down, setting weapons a flame and burning images of Harbringers and Fell.A few said. "The time for war has coem, the time for war has come!"

"Indeed!" Erpheon cried in a great voice, secretly noting that one human had the ability to shoot fire. Interesting. "Have you heard of Colosia Mar? It was once a great city of tall, valiant men. But look at what the Fell and the Harbinger have done! They waged war upon you and ruined your city utterly! Yes, yours! YOURS! And yours it shall be again, if you follow My banner!" With that Erpheon shoot a great ball of dark fire from the sky. "Here is a sign! Fight for me, and gain your power back!"

...Though, of course, Erpheon wasn't going to tell the whole legend. Hah.

Aie walked her way towards the human area. She seemed... different. She was arrayed in white armor (she usually walked unarmed), and her steps were... faltering? And her pendant was gone. She seemed weak. But she had to do this...

Drake walked over to through the place, looking for Erepheon. "That traitor is there somewhere."

The men creid out and shot more fire, lighting bonfires and outing weapons aflame. "We shall crush the Fell and the Harbringers and take our land back!To war!"

They all creid.all but one, wise shaman, standong far away from erepheon.e was the ribal leader and the most powerful shaman of the land.he fingered his oendena and said softly to the wind. "The warbringer has been awakened.The prophecy has been fulfilled.We must find the new warriors of light." He said and walked away.

A old shaman, with a bone stick shaman stick and a strange runic pendent with fire marks engraved on it came towards Aie. "I thought you would come here, young guardian."

"Very well! We go to Colosia Mar!" Erpheon announced. He would look for the fire key later - but his army couldn't wait.

Aie looked surprised as she was addressed by an old shaman. He looked vaguely familiar... And, well, she wasn't exactly young - but maybe humans reckon time differently. And, wait...

"Key of Fire..." Aie read weakly, seeing the pendant. "What do you mean?" she asked the man. "Speak!"

The old man just shook his head and said. "Im mean to say that I foresaw you coming here in my fires, young guardian.Come, we have much to talk about."

The human army moved with him like blazing fire.

The old shaman nodded his head and walked toward a roaring fire that seemed to appear out of nowhere.

"Now, my name is papa minight youngone, but you may call me midnight.I am the cheif shaman of my people, and the kepper of the key of fire.Now, keeper of light, who might you be."

"Aie Lightbringer, daughter of Starlight Lightbringer..."

Wait. Her surname... It had always sounded more like a title... Fell and Harbnger people didn't have such surnames, but...

...And people had always remarked that she looked almost human...

"Do you know him? Starlight Lightbringer?" Aie asked, almost too quickly.

"Aie, my goodness I didn't think I was YOU!I havn;t seen you since you were but a babe!" he said with a chuckle. "Yes, I knew of starlight.He was once the guardian of the key of light, I knew him well."

Midnight sighed ad said. "Yes...she deid when you wer very young." he said darkly, and a single tear droped. "But those matters...are not to be speaked up at this time.Tell me young guardian, what has happened to yoru key?"

Having wandered for hours, Darien found himself in these plains.

"I wonder what's going on here." He examined the area.

"I was... deceived."

Then Aie told Midnight about what transpired in the Harbringer Capital. Erpheon arrived while Aie was addressing the Council. He advised her to take a rest, since she had too much labors in a day, and her injured hand would falter if she had more yet to undertake. So she slept - but Erpheon took her pendant in her sleep. Aie awakened and tried to fight Erpheon, but she weakened a lot rapidly (after firing a few Light spells) and Erpheon easily got away.

Midnight smiles and siads. "One fothe warriors of light hath appeared in this land."

Midnight, as sson a she heard the story shouted. "WHAT?A servant of the Warbringer has found a rune pendent.This si not good, this is not good.Not only can these pendents channel the powrs of the Geae, but they are the key to the warbringers seal.I fear I ahve lost the presence of the rune of lightning as well...things are not going well."

"A vagabond Fell, I am told," Aie answered. "I saw him once. He was a great warrior."

"Though we have reason to believe Seto was very powerful. Said he held against a squad of Harbingers just to protect a retreat," Aie sighed, nodding. Wait... the War... "Do you know what caused the fighting between Harbinger and Fell, Midnight?" she asked.

Midnight nodded. "The war wa suased long ao.The Warbringer was a powerful human, king of a evil huma kingdom.He deceived the Harbringers and the Fell, and made them think that allthough they once were kin now that the other attacked the other.Heroes came forth and forged 8 runes from the elements and a powerful sword from all 3.They used that to seal up the warbringer and stop him from doing anymore harm, but alas, the damage was done."

He then looked at Darion. "The fire tells me that youre journey begins where the end began.You must journe to the mountain of old an dfind it's secrets, there you must choose which path you may take."

Midnight smiled and said. "You must go to the aincent ruins.You will not go alone becuase I am sending Aie with you.It means whatever you can make of it.You will find your answers soon enough." he said grining.

"Eight..." Aie muttered. "Light, Fire, Lightning, Water, Ice, Wind, Earth, and Life... And now Erpheon is under the Warbringer's bidding? This is dreadful - I must stop him!"

Midnight bunked her on her head with his bone staff. "Don;t go jumping to conclusions.Yoou are a guardian of the light rune, and that is all.You will teach the new warriors who will stop the Warbringer, but all is up to them."
