Kain wasn't sure what to say to this at all. He was absolutely stunned at what had happened. Slwoly he began to answer the qeustions. "I...could never live alone, ever. I can't even imagine what it would be like. So, of course I would save you if I had the chance. I would take care of myself...and I would do teh same for you if you wanted me too becuase...you would be the only I had left." He took a deep breath after he answered the qeustion.

"Then think for this moment... that's what is happening. Me and you are the only ones here who can do this. And I've never lost anyone in my life but my parents and my home and I refuse to lose anything else. I refuse to lose Alex and I refuse to lose you." Darien said as he pulled Kain to him and kissed him softly. "I need you to feel what I feel. I'll show you..." He kissed him again and deepened the kiss.

Kain was shocked again and for a instant he was completely unable to do anything. His brain was having trouble processing the information. That only lasted a instant as he kissed Darein back. For a few moments he felt like there was only his self and Darein.

Darien lifted him up and kept kissing him and he dragged him to the wall and pulled him up on him. He broke away and began kissing Kain's neck slowly while running his hands down his back. He pulled away and looked at Kain. "I shouldn't say this..." He said softly. He kissed him again and pulled back. "I love you." He said looking into Kain's eyes.

"If anything... this is what will make the difference. He'll learn the ways of the world. Then he'll fight longer."

Kain looked long and hard into Darein's eyes. Kain was breathing deeply, studying Darein and trying to tell if he was lying. He began to speak. "But...why? I got Alex possesed and I got you hurt becuase I wouldn't leave. If anything, you should hate me." He told Darein.

"Because... we fight for what is right when we love something." Darien said as he looked into Kain's eyes. "That is what makes everything in this world worth living."

Kain looked like he was going to cry but he fought back the tears. He had never had a family other then The Guild and no one, NO ONE had ever told him that they loved him. "I..." He trailed off for a second but then continued. "I love you too."

"Then... will we do everything we can to keep you here with me and bring Alex back? Will we do the impossible? Will we find a way to break a possession without sacrificing anyone?" Darien asked smiling.

Kain smiled at darein and nodded his head. "Of course we will...as long as were together im sure we can." He said to Darein with a sense of hope and a renewed vigor.

Kain chuckled a bit too and said to Darein. "WEll...there's no answers about it in the book but I do have one diea. It says it was made in a place called the Eastern Snow desert. Maybe we could find the answers there."

Kain had never sen darein scared, ever and it shocked him when he saw how afraid Darein was. Kain held darein close and asked. "Whats wrong? Why do you look so afraid?"

Darein was shakeing so violently that Kain began to shake as well just from holding Darein. He grimaced and tried to sooth him. "Don't worry. We don't have to go if you don't want to. We'll find some other way to get the information we need."

Kain was even more confused now. "Who are they? Why were you traveling around in the first place anyway?" Darein seemed like a normal kid other then his magic powers so why would he be with people like Alex.

Kain blinked dumbly and opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. He finnaly was able to say. "You're...you're one of the fragments of The First guardian." Before he fainted.

Darien looked on wide eyed and sighed for a moment. "Note to self... do not mention that again." Darien sighed for a moment and then smirked. He leaned down at Kain and giggled. "I know what to do to get him up..." He said as he placed his hand on Kain chest and made it go all the way down to his midsection and slightly below before cupping said area. "Wake up!"

Kain woke up with a shock to find Darein holding a certain part of his body. He was blushing redder then he had ever had been before. "H-hi." He muttered with a stutter.

"Tell me why you fainted or I'll make it so that you bleed from every pore on your face from excitement." Darien said rather coolly. His eyes went back to it's normal gleam of seriousness.

Kain was thought hard about what he was about to say as he debated his choices. Finally he decided to tell Darein and said. "E-everyone in the g-Guild knows the s-story of The First g-Guardian and how he is s-supposed to come back to defeat the W-warbringer as fragemtns of himself. You're supposed to be a myth."

Darien sighed and rolled his eyes. In his hands was the single piece of leverage he had to get all his answers. "Tell me the story." He said as he began playing around with his hands. "Trust me... If you don't I'll make you cry. And not a good way either. Tell me how he was able to do all of this."

Kain was stll shocked form all this as he felt Darein play with a certain part of his body. "Okay." he said with a nod and recited the same story Midnight had told Darein and the others within the tunnels. Once he ahd finsihed he told Darein. "It dosen't say much after that other then that they will either defeat the Warbringer or that they'll bring about a cataclysem."

"What do you mean? Like an Apocalypse? How so? Is it like... siding with the Warbringer?" Darien said as he put more pressure on his play. "And don't skimp out on details. Once we're done... we can go to the Eastern Snow Desert."

Kain blushed once more as he felt a certian part of him become hard. "All I-I kn-know is that you guys m-might become corrupted..and d-destroy the w-world. I d-don't know h-how. Look, I-I t-told you everything." He said to Darein.

"Okay. Let's go then. I'm pretty sure we'll find an answer there." Darien said as he released Kain's part and laughed. "You're having too much fun by the way." He burst into laughter and walked off.

Kain luaghed nervously and said. "You know...I would have told you even if you hadn't done that." He was still embarrased as he walked over to the controls. "Set the cordinates for the Eastern Snow Desert." He told the autopilot. He walked out of the room on to the deck.
