"We are here." Kysuke said softly.

Nathen looked up at the large forest in awe. "H-holy c-crap." He sighed.

"Have your moment later. Rumors have it that they Key of Life is here." Kysuke said softly.

Hector finally woke up in the back of the HC and twitched when he figured out that he was tied up. "Steveh'!! Let me go!!" Steveh' just laughed to himself and started to look for a path of some sort. "Just like last time." He laughed.

"Is it me or that guys has balls?" Darien asked wide-eyed. "Nathen, you okay? Don't be afraid. I promise I won't let you go and I won't lose you." Darien smiled as he walked forward.

Steveh' walked in smiling like an idiot. "We can handle that much." Steveh' laughed again when he herd Hector finally jump out of the car. "Haha!!"

"I'm giving you a warning, behave or i'm ripping you limbs off." Darien growled as he stared into his eyes. Then there was a rumbling noise. The ground beneath Darien and Hector gave out and the two feel into a floor below some 100 feet.

"Damnit!" Kysuke said as he looked back and saw the two disappear. He walked over to the hole. "It's a deep hole. And we do not have time to spare. We must continue. We shall return for them later. Gives them time to see eye to eye." Kysuke said as he walked off.

"Wh-what?" Nathen blinked when he noticed Darien had left. Steveh' just slung an arm around Nathen's shoulders and pushed him calmly toward the forest. "C'mon buddy, we'll get them later." Nathen just nodded, knowing what else to do.

Meanwhile...

"I'm sure they will be fine." Kysuke smiled as he looked at Nathen and Steveh'.

Hector followed behind him still angry. "Maybe if you just stayed away from my territory, I would've never met you!" His voice echoed along the walls.

Steveh' grinned back and Nathen was still in a state of shock at the forest so he had no clue what was going on around him.

"Legends are true." He said softly.

"Territory!? what territory!? You don't own a damn thing!!" Darien snapped back as they walked along in the darkness using their voices as guides.

Hector laughed bitterly. "What do you think happened when Steveh' was away and Nathen was all alone in his little world. He was so grateful when I first went to see him. He gave me a little kiss...then things got interesting." He smirked at the memory.

(sorry it took so long i had to walk my dog lol)

Darien stopped nearly shattered at hearing this. "What do you want? What do you want to prove? That you're better then me? That you're some awesome being? That I don't have what you had with Nathen? What do you want!? WHAT!? Isn't it enough that we might die here!?" Darien yelled out.

"Is the key still in there?" Steveh' asked eyeing the temple.

"I believe it is. But it's been a long time." Kysuke tried remembering.

Steveh' started toward an entrance, pulling Nathen along behind him. "Well then that are we waiting for?"

Kysuke nodded and followed the path into Temple. As the 3 traveled inside, they could see giant statues in marble. All warriors. It was a long hall at which the end was a statue of a Goddess.

"The Goddess of Judgement." Kysuke examined the statue from a distance as they approached it.

Hector pushed Darien away, confused at what he just did. "He does deserve better, if you can't even stay faithful for 20 minutes without him near." Hector spat out.

Nathen smiled at the angelic statue. "What's with the weird necklace?" Steveh' pointed at the pendent that hung around the woman's neck.

"Don't deny it. You actually like it. Nathan is half as exciting as me. And that's what you want. Someone who can fight back. Someone who has nothing to lose and everything to gain." Darien said as he walked away in the darkness. "Damnit... I can't shake this one off of Nathen. Plan B if anything." Darien though to himself. "Don't worryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy." He yelled as he fell through a hole in the floor.

"I believe it's the Keystone. The gate to unlock in order to go the Annex." Kysuke said.

"Ah shit." Hector saw the hole infront of Darien, his eyes already adjusted, and jumped in after him. "Stupid damned mutt! You're gunna get us both killed!!"

"Then we're gunna need it right?" Steveh' scampered up the statue and cut the leather that kept the key on her neck.

Kysuke tried to stop him but it was too late. Just as Steveh' cut the leather, the entire temple shook. The statues in the room began to shake heavily and burst from their spot on the wall. All off a sudden they took battle ready stances as Kysuke's fears were confirmed.

"It was a trap." Kysuke said as he pulled out his staff.

Nathen got in a fighting stance with his daggers out. His eye where darting from statue to statue and he was shaking slightly. Steveh' faced beck to back with Nathen and took out his bo staff.

"Don't wait for me. Go!" Kysuke said as he pulled out his staff and began spinning it heavily. He ran towards another statue and began beating it with the staff.

Hector finally hit the bottom of the hole. "God damn it." He mumbled.

Darien who had hit the bottom of the hole had been whimpering. "My leg... it's broken..." He kept whimpering.

Hector mumbled something under his breath and walked over to Darien. "Let me see." He knelt beside him and tapped Darien's knee. "Give me the one that hurts."

"Just... can you... fix it?" Darien kept whimpering.

Hector broke off the sharp edges of the arrows and put them in another one of his pockets. He tenderly placed them on either side of Darien's leg and started to wrap his makeshift brace with the bow string. "It should hold, and would you stop whimpering." Hector stood back up and held out a hand to help Darien up.

Darien winced in pain. "Okay, i'll stop." Darien took Hector's hand and then tripped into his arms. "I'm sorry." He sighed softly as he held him. "I hate to have to depend on you, but I have to now." Darien sighed again.

"You want him to be happy... I want him to be happy... no use for the two of us being here stuck together. Just don't... nevermind... just go save yourself." Darien looked up knowing that there were 3 options. And all of them seemed to point to disaster in his current state. He wasn't meant to be the hero, and he wasn't playing one.

"Like hell. Nathen will think you're dead and I'm the one who's gunna have to tell him." Hector huffed and picked up Darien. "Now stop being a drama queen and help me figure out how to get outta here."

(is hector taller then Darien? i forgot. lol)

"Get off of me!" Darien pulled off of Hector and growled. He glared heavily at him and then began to shake in anger. "Just get what you want. Take it! He doesn't need me anymore. Like you said, you're around. What does he need a injured mutt like me for? I'm not as strong as I let on. I'll never have the deep history you and him have. Just go and claim him. Comfort him. Just leave me alone. You have your way out, take it."

Darien sat down on the floor again.

Hector groaned in frustraition. "I already told you, I can't do that." He stat beside the broken Fell and covered his own face with his hands. " Stupid." Hector glaired over at Darien then suddenly flipped over and pinned him. "Now will you just co-operate and help me get us both out of this damned cave." Hector growled at Darien, inches away from his face.

"Why are you still here? Just go. You don't need me. You already know it to be true." Darien said as he looked down.

Kysuke based another statue on the head, breaking it. "Damn, there's alot of these things."

Steveh's was sitting on one of there heads and the stupid thing couldn't see him. "but it's pretty easy." He sruged.

"Always eager..." Kysuke said as he smashed another statue to bits. "... always strong!" He yelled as he broke the legs of another statue.

Nathen was trying to fight off a couple statues but was cornered. "St-Steveh' I need s-some help over h-here!"

Kysuke went after the statues that cornered Nathen. "Find a way to put that pendant back to make the door open!" Kysuke yelled.

"Okie dokie." Steveh' smashe the statues face in and jumped over to the elegent woman. "Where's it go now?" Nathen sighed and ran back out of the corner. "Th-thanks."

"Look for a place that might fit the necklace's pendant!" Kysuke yelled as a group of 30 statues began to come together.
