Topic: Valley of the Dragons

A valley surrounded from hills keeps the valley safe from prying eyes. A placid lake sits in the middle of the valley with a river running through a little gap in the valley towards the ocean. The hills are dotted with caves and every now and then you hear the rustle of dragon wings.

I sat on a precipice, leaning against the smooth rock as I dozed in my Mage cloak. The other dragons usually gave me a wide berth, but that was all right. I enjoyed the solitude. This realm was a nice place, full of enchantment. I was glad that I'd decided to take a small vacation here...

Spiderlegs crawled among the caves. She was incredibly bored, and needed something to do. She stared at the sky, and saw a shape on a rock. He seemed to be a person, and to poor Spiderlegs, he looked HUGE. She decided to call to him. "Hey! Hello? Who are you?"

The boy opened his eyes, looking around sleepily. "Wh-what? Who's there?"

Spiderlegs banged herself on her head. "He can't see me, I'm a couple of inches tall!" Muttering to herself, she climbed up to the rock, then poked the boy. Hard.

He smiled. "Well, I'm not technically a person. I'm part dragon, so they let me stay here."

"Oh..." Spiderlegs said. "Well, I'm just visiting, the other homunculi at the alchemy lab where I live were so annoying that I had to leave. I've been meaning to explore the world anyway. This is just my first stop."

"Okay," Spiderlegs replied. She climbed up a little higher and settled on a rock, watching the sky. It was so peaceful here.

Yay! I am multitasking! I am writing on the forum and writing a story for fanfic! Also, dosen't it seem kinda...uninteresting here because we are the only people here? Well, I know someone else will probably join, but not til tonight, because the person made their account last night and they can't talk in forums yet.

Yeah, it took me three days for me to start uploading my story chapters when I joined. And now, would you believe it, I'm almost finished with my fic! I've been doing triple-overtime for the past week, so that may be a factor...

And I'll try to drum up some business for this forum as soon as the ones I'm on start up again.

The boy grinned, leaning back and staring up into the sky, savoring the peace and quiet.

Yay, more people! More people means more fun!

Spiderlegs watched lazily as a dragon left its cave and went to the lake. It had a drink, then went back to the cave. Spiderlegs heard it snore. It was loud. Very loud. On the other side of the valley, a rock tumbled down the slope. Feeling glad that the snoring was on the other side of the valley, Spiderlegs fell asleep.

Apollo sat on a rock watching the dragons with his familiar,End.

"Gotta find something to do I'm so bored" Apollo whined, End nudged him "Dont be such a brat...you might as well see if a dragon will play with you that is if it doesnt rip you to sreds" End laughed

Sorry about the wait, I was at a soccer game.

Spiderlegs was startled awake by a whiny voice. Grumbling to herself, she glanced around and saw a boy.

"Not another one," she muttered. "I thought that only us magic creatures knew about this place. If more people come here, we should just set up a tourist attraction. A 'Pet the Dragon' place and some 'Dragon Rides'."

Still muttering to herself, she wandered over to the boy. "No need to repeat a past experiance. I know well enough that he won't see me, so I'll go to him."

Apollo noticed a presence around him and looked around but found nothing so he ignored it and started to carve things on the rock "I think I should've stayed home, nothing much to do here...and Laharls probably having to do alot of paper work for the dark funds" he laughed

Spiderlegs climbed over the last rock and saw the boy carving on another rock.

"If I were you, I would stop carving that rock," she said. "The dragons won't be pleased."

Apollo heard a small sound and stopped "I hate when I tell myself to do things, it creeps me out but if the dragons are gonna get angery I'd rather not do anything" He sighed rubbing his head and stood up and yawned "I should find somewhere to crash.." he muttered

Spiderlegs began to get angry. "I REALLY hate it people don't notice me..." she muttered. She climbed down towards the boy and crept up to his ear. "I SAID THAT YOU NINCOMPOOP!!! she yelled in his ear.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" He yelled rolling around on the rocks, after finding everything was okay he took a moment to look down and saw Spiderlegs "Ohh so you're the one who was talking...and yelling" He scrathed his head

"The name's Spiderlegs," Spiderlegs said. "And I'm a homunculus, which probably explains why you didn't see me. I poked the last person who didn't see me VERY hard. So, who are you? And what is that thing with you?"

Linama was walking with Alina on her back when she saw Appllo and Dark.Alina,being bolder,stood up and said"Why are you humans here!?Get out!"Linama blew some smoke out of her nostroils."I'm sure they have a good reason."Alina mutter loudly"Good reason or not they shouldnt be here!"

"Laharl Krichevscoy, Overlord of the netherworld...normally I wouldn't listen to him but I thought about the dragons from the Netherworld and came to see if the ones here are anything like ours plus he forced the dark Assembly to make me go" Apollo smiled looking at Alina

"Though we've only seen one dragon so far...we can tell the netherworld dragons are more firece due to the terms of survival there...but I was hoping we could stick around for more observations" End concluded "Dude you sound like a Machscientist you need to stop that" Apollo said blankly

Apollo reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a notepad and wrote it down "Yes that explains it" He smiled then looked down at End "you got that?" The small wolf nodded "if you're were ever attack how would you defend yourselves?"

At this Alina growled and said"I wont let you answer that Linama!"Linama looked at her"Why?"Alina huffed"If they know how you would defend yourself if they ever do attack you,or any other dragon for that matter,they'd be able to use it against you!"She jumped off Linama's back and walked over to Apollo.She poked him in the ribs"Listen here you!I suggest you dont ask anymore questions!"Linama chuckled"Dont worry about her,her Brownie traits are coming out,she's usally nicer then this."Alina just let out a huff of breath.

It's good that she nicer, i gonna think the Brownies here were worse than the netherworld Brownies...no offense meant" he smiled

Spiderlegs glanced at the brownie and dragon, who didn't seem to see her. She felt her temper rising, and she called to them. "Yo, Furface and Dragon Breath!"
